For more than 15 years, we’ve been capturing weddings that reflect not only how the day looked, but how it truly felt. From the excitement of getting ready, to the quiet in-between glances, to the laughter and tears that fill the celebration, our goal is to preserve the authentic moments couples will want to relive for a lifetime.
Our journey began with formal training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and since then silent A photography has grown through years of experience, countless weddings, and a passion for storytelling. Based in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area, we are constantly inspired by the stunning backdrops that surround us—sparkling lake shores, towering pines, and snow-capped mountains that create unforgettable settings for “I do.”
What makes silent A photography different is the way we connect with couples. A relaxed, natural approach keeps clients comfortable in front of the camera, while humor and warmth set the tone for images that feel joyful and real. With a background in stand-up comedy, we bring laughter to the wedding day, helping couples and their loved ones relax. And with training as a yoga instructor, we guide couples into poses that not only look natural and flattering but also allow them to feel calm and grounded in the moment.
We specialize in full-day wedding coverage, from morning preparations to the last dance under the stars.
