About

Roots, formerly known as Copper Leaf Gardens & Event Center, a venue located in Broomfield, Colorado, is a charming setting in which to exchange your vows. From its rushing waterfall to its lit gazebo, couples and guests will be able to make lasting memories in one of Colorado’s top wedding venues. Whether you are hosting a rustic wedding or an elegant one, the venue is proud to offer eco-friendly features such as recycled oil and paper, LED and CFL bulbs, occupancy sensors and more. With these features, and the ability to customize the spaces, you can rest assured knowing that your wedding will be not only eco-friendly and meaningful, but also memorable.



Facilities and Capacity
Roots Events Center, is situated 20 minutes away from the cities of Denver and Boulder, can accommodate up to 250 of your friends and family. On the property there are indoor, covered outdoor and uncovered outdoor options that you can choose from. The main floor plan option, however, can accommodate a bit more guests with its specific layout. Throughout the venue, couples and guests will be able to enjoy the warm and cracking stone-hearth, see-through fireplace or the flowing waterwheel outdoors. There are lush and manicured gardens as well as a relaxing gazebo area. Couples can also request dressing rooms to use with their respective parties as they are preparing for the ceremony and reception.

Services Offered
Roots Event Center is proud to be able to offer each couple a fully customized service experience. Whether you need help with such details like linen and flatware, or need assistance selecting a videographer, the team is ready to help make your planning process easier. While each service is custom, couples have three basic package options they can choose from. The Evergreen Package suits couples who love doing things themselves but need help with basics. The Bluespruce Package is similar, but offers couples extras such as a 2-tier cake, DJ, and centerpieces. The last option, the Golden Aspen Package, is perfect for couples who want the majority of their wedding taken care of by the team. Couples are welcome to enjoy their bridal shower, engagement party, and rehearsal at the garden and event center, as well. Couples can include many other services, such as:

The Copper Leaf Garden is a beautiful place for a wedding, reception and any event, must see, you will not be disappointed.
The staff was excellent everyone was very nice and attentive to all our needs. Venue owner, Madhoo, was especially wonderful she had the venue decorated perfectly and added extras doing what she thought would make the day extra special. When we booked her venue her last words to us " now go relax and leave the rest to me". I was waiting to exhale and when I walked into the venue that's what I did. I can't say enough about this place, thank you Madhoo you and your staff are the best and you were heaven sent.
With only one week to go and having to get a new venue since the original venue cancelled on us, we only had five days and Madhoo was great, she never skipped a beat. Madhoo and her staff worked very hard to make this day perfect and she and her staff did just that.
Many thanks and will recommend your venue to everyone.

My daughter and new son-in-law were married early this year at the Copper Leaf Gardens Event Center facility in Broomfield, CO.

The event staff was amazing and made for the best experience for all who attended. The staff are the kindest, most understanding and flexible team to work with which made the over all experience for all of us that much better.

The space was warm and beautiful. All the guests showered us with Kudo’s on the event facility.

I would recommend having any sort of event their. The senior team at Copper Leaf are some of the most humble and caring people of any event facility I have ever met.

Thank you all for making our Daughters wedding experience memorable!

The venue was amazing. Food was delicious. Our guests were so happy with everything. They absolutely loved the food and the inside and outside access at the venue. Service was great and everything went so well. We are very happy with Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center as well as The Gourmet Kitchen. We highly recommend them for your next fundraiser, wedding or any party. Great Service. We loved it!

The team was very helpful when we had to change our venue a week before our wedding date. They showed a lot of flexibility and took the initiative to make sure we had a relaxing time. Great rustic venue too!

My daughter’s wedding and reception was held at the Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center in August, 2016. We decided on this venue because it has lovely a green area outside, lots of parking, and a very nice indoor space for the reception. The venue is beautiful, with a gazebo outside that was the perfect outdoor setting for the ceremony. Vipul and Madhoo Seth were wonderful to work with! They quickly responded to all of our questions and concerns. Although Madoo has a list of vendors that they typically work with/recommend we were able to bring in an outside photographer and DJ with zero complaint. The servers for the day also helped a family friend tier the small cake we brought in for the cutting.
As a first time mother of the bride, I must say that I wish I had asked about adding more time to use for setting up, as well as whether we could have set up our centerpieces the evening before. All of our decorations/centerpieces were DIY projects that we brought to the venue ourselves, and I was still setting things up as guests started to arrive. (My advice for future DIY brides/families is to make sure there is PLENTY of time to set things up, even if it means purchasing an extra half hour/hour of time. The money is well worth it.) The servers that the venue hired for the day were polite, friendly, very helpful and jumped in to help us set up center pieces as our set up time began to dwindle. Additionally, my daughter and new son-in-law appreciated that the servers made a special trip outside to bring the wedding party hors d’oeuvres while they were taking pictures. The day-of coordinator, Marci, did a fantastic job making sure things ran smoothly and according to plan. She was always cool and collected, which did a lot to keep my daughter at ease during her special day. I have no idea if it is normal for venues to be this helpful, but we were very impressed. We will choose Copper Leaf again for future events.

Copper Leaf is an amazing space. As soon as you walk in, you feel cozy and at home. The large fireplace in the center separating the rooms is romantic and eye catching. Copper Leaf has a large open space to the right of the entry which is perfect for seating, dancing or holding any event. There is a central stage with all the set-up you'll need for speakers, bands or other types of performances or presentations. The bar area is to the left of the entry and it is also large enough to hold a smaller event in - or simply use for cocktail hour.

Outside you will find a huge gazebo with strings of lights that shine at night. Perfect place for a ceremony and even a first dance. I just love this venue. It is very versatile and the folks I worked with were amazing. All my worries and concerns were addressed so that my party planner stress just melted away! The only feedback I would give is that the entry was not obvious when I first drove up and I did get confused by signs for other businesses (church) near by. I highly recommend this space for any type of occasion - oh and try the food! Amazing as well.

The overall experience we had for our corporate event was good. The responsiveness and value of the venue were excellent. The venue wasn't set up how I expected or asked for on the day of the event and some things I requested changing the day of made me feel like I was a bother. At the end of the day everything worked out. Dan, one of the staff members went above and beyond to make it a great event and Vipul was always great to work with.
