I don't even know where to begin with this review because Echo Talent Management was the absolute best vendor we hired of our entire wedding. We got more compliments on how much fun our band and DJ was than anything else. The entire wedding danced the night away for hours and it felt like the band hardly took a breath. Singer, absolutely incredible voice! Rob, played the sax in the middle of the dance floor. It was so epic!!! Rob was amazing to work with, so flexible and easy to communicate with. Everything Rob and the band touched at our wedding was so smooth, flawless and easy! 11/10 recommend them!!!

We honestly can’t say enough good things about Rob. From our very first call, he was incredibly versatile and just got what we were going for, even as we were still figuring it out ourselves. He was also super easy to work with alongside our planner and made everything feel seamless. He handled everything from outdoor welcome music to playing sax during our ceremony recessional, setting the perfect cocktail hour vibes, running the main stage and emceeing, keeping a packed dance floor all night, and then somehow turning it all the way up for the after party DJ set. The whole experience truly exceeded all expectations.

The sax playing was such a standout and something people are still talking about. It added a completely different energy that made the whole day feel special and unique. We couldn’t believe how seamlessly Rob could incorporate sax into so many different music genres. He’s incredibly talented.

So many of our guests came up to us during the wedding and after to say how amazing Rob was. We also saw multiple notes about him in our guestbook, which says a lot.

On top of all of that, Rob is just a genuinely great person. He’s easy to work with, flexible, and clearly cares about making the day perfect.

We highly recommend Rob if you’re planning a wedding or any event.

Rob did double duty, not just the band part but we loved our entrance and exit songs for the ceremony on his saxophone. He was a pleasure to work with and then carrying out our entrance and first dance songs were wonderful using the saxophone. I think Rob on the saxophone was superior to using a violin and our guests loved his work. Chloe the lead singer has a beautiful voice and Rob can also DJ any song. I would strongly recommend Rob Bennion and Gold Standard. They were an integral part of a wedding that our was one of those weddings that everyone will remember. Rob's band playing at sunset looking over the mountains at the Montage Hotel in Park City was magical. You can't go wrong with Rob and his band!

We booked Rob for DJ+Live Sax for our wedding and couldn't be happier. We selected a DJ to allow for live mixing depending on the status of the dance floor, but wanted to have that live-instrument touch. Rob's sax was the perfect addition! Our guests still comment on how cool the live sax was for cocktail hour and augmenting the music on the dance floor. We met with Rob in advance of our event to review music tastes and he nailed it. We even asked for a mini country music interlude and he mixed in and out of the genre perfectly.

DJ Chu left a lasting impression with us, our family and friends. He skillfully crafted a dynamic atmosphere that had the crowd engaged throughout the event and everyone was praising his talent. He had an exceptional ability to curate a diverse and well-paced setlist. The transitions between tracks were seamless, creating a continuous flow that kept the energy levels high. 

One of the standout aspects of DJ Chu's performance was his engaging stage presence. He interacted effortlessly with the crowd, encouraging participation and created a strong connection between himself and the audience. The DJ's enthusiasm was contagious, and he effectively hyped up the crowd at key moments, contributing to the overall atmosphere of excitement and added a personal touch to the performance. We even had a family member ask us how we knew our DJ as they thought he was a family friend, he felt like an invited guest. 

He delivered a captivating performance that left a lasting impact on the audience. His musical prowess, crowd interaction, and ability to create an engaging atmosphere were commendable. We would highly recommend DJ Chu for any event and hope to work with him again in the future.

We were lucky enough to have Gold Standard play at our dinner and reception this past June and were delighted with these three outstanding jazz musicians! Conn Curran on vocals, Bart Olson on drums, and Rob Bennion on Sax/Flute/DJ. They played through the dinner and into the dance with classic jazzy tunes and current popular hits that they have turned them into golden crooner renditions. Setting a classy and relaxed mood to the evening. Then as the dance progressed they seamlessly morphed into more dance-infused electronic versions of hits that kept the energy and fun going strong til the last note. The bride and groom were having so much fun that they decided against the early send off and stayed to dance to the very end! Fun, professional, talented and gracious. This group will make your evening magical! Can't say enough good about these guys...
