Rob was phenomenal! My fiancé isn’t a big fan of taking pictures but Rob did a great job getting him to feel relaxed and comfortable with the photos during our engagement session. He had a cute place picked out and made everything feel so natural. I felt like he really captured us. He was very responsive to our situation and willing to accommodate our needs. We highly recommend him for any wedding location!

My fiancé and I recently completed a mini engagement session with Rob. He was very easy going and a good director. The session was meant to be completed in 15 minutes which seemed a very short amount of time to be comfortable with a photographer. It worked well however as Rob is very easy going and a great director. He was able to quickly guide us through poses and locations around the park to get around 45 pictures taken. He quickly adjusted for the conditions- lighting, cars, other people etc- and showed us some pictures along the way so we could see how they were turning out. After 5 days, we met on zoom to review our photos and he was able to help us narrow down our choices and settle on a top 12! All the photos were beautiful and we are excited to see the final results after some edits. Added bonus- The turnaround from the choosing favorites to final edits was overnight in our case!

Rob very generously did our engagement shoot, and it was such a great experience and an even better final product. My fiance and I have never had professional pictures done together, and Rob’s personality made it perfect.

We had an incredible experience working with Rob for our engagement shoot. From the start he made the entire process feel super easy which was especially important for us since we are not used to being in front of the camera.

He has a great eye for detail and it really shows in the final photos. He did an amazing job capturing both the setting (Chicago Riverwalk) and the moments in a way that felt authentic to us.

Beyond the photos themselves, Rob gave thoughtful direction when needed, but also allowed things to unfold naturally which made a huge different in how comfortable we felt and how the final phots turned out.

He even got a very specific shot I found online and was very impressed by his ability to capture my vision.

Working with Rob was a lovely process from start to finish, he is very responsive both through email and text. Day of photoshoot went by very smoothly he made us feel comfortable and relaxed infront of the camera. We fell in love with the pictures he captured. Rob is great! My fiance and I had a mini engagement photo shoot from Rob and from the second we met him we loved him! He made sure we were comfortable and felt natural in front of the camera. Rob is amazing. I found his website randomly one night as I was trying to find photographers who have taken pictures at the Arboretum. I was very impressed with his website and portfolio, so my fiance and I set up a meeting with him. During that meeting with Rob, we were blown away about how much he knows about photography. You could tell he has a passion for this. My fiance(now husband) wanted to book Rob right away, but I didnt want to put all our eggs in one basket right away. We met with another solo photographer who could not even compare to Rob and we met with a big box company who insulted us and really just tried to sell their "made in italy" custom books, not the photography.

Rob was always prompt with getting back to me as I had a lot questions and he explained everything.

Our engagement session was a blast and when I saw the proofs, they were just perfect!

Before the wedding, Rob was in touch with us and suggested an alternate site for wedding pictures. When we drove by, I fell in love with it! However, due to the heat on our wedding date, we went back to the bar my fiance (husband) met at and Rob was completely on board! The week of the wedding called us and we were able to discuss day of planning and we were all on the same page!

For the day of, Rob and his crew were on time and started snapping away! He was professional, but fun to work with! I can't wait to see the pictures!!!!

We also used his digital photo booth which was something new as the "strips" are emailed to the parties instead of printed out. Some of the pictures I took with friends turned out okay, but some were really dark which was disappointing.

Overall, his price is reasonable for the area and I always believe you get what you pay for with photography. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the industry, is easy to talk to and provides a great product.
