Riverside Lights is a live wedding band, based in Washington, DC, that effortlessly blends classic rock and country music to create their signature sound. This six-piece offers upbeat performances and professional sound to ensure your wedding event is one to remember. They offer something for everyone, playing everything from Bob Seger to Bon Jovi to ensure that your guests are dancing all night long.

Lead by Washington Area Music Awards nominee, Ken Wenzel, these professional musicians offer stylings from a wide range of genres for your celebration. Couples can choose from their extensive list of cover songs from genres such as pop, rock, swing, country, oldies, folk, and many more. Riverside Lights can adapt their style to play at your ceremony or rehearsal dinner, and can provide music during breaks. They are happy to learn new songs if your request isn’t available on their current repertoire, and they also offer MC services for your reception event. Highly recommend Riverside Lights!

My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Ken and Riverside Lights for our August 2024 wedding in DC. Ken was extremely professional in the lead up to the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly -- it was obvious he's done this many times before. Outside of the smooth logistics, Riverside Lights also put on a great show! We've received so much positive feedback from our guests about the band's energy and setlist. We can't say enough good things about working with Ken and Riverside Lights!

Great Band!

We are so happy we found this band. They did an outstanding job. They worked with us to learn new songs. Their sound was terrific and many of our guests commented on how well they played. They are talented musicians, and we would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome Band!

Riverside Lights was fantastic. From Ken’s acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the full band during the reception, we were moving and grooving. So many guests afterward told us what a great band we had, and we couldn’t agree more. Ken and Riverside Lights had the barn floor bumping, and Ken did a great job MC’ing throughout. Our photographer kept saying she had never been to a wedding that was so on-time, and that was partially due to Ken.

So helpful and accommodating in the process of postponing!

My fiance and I had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding from August 1st 2020 to July 31st 2021 due to COVID-19. Riverside Lights and East Coast Entertainment was more than accommodating in making this switch. They were very prompt in their communication and allowed me to switch with no fee and no hassle. I highly recommend them to anyone and can't wait to hear them at my wedding in a year!

Riverside Lights Review - awesome!!

This band was amazing at my wedding!! Everyone had so much fun dancing and singing along. All my guests were raving about how good the band was and asking all about them because they want to hear them play again. They were all super kind and flexible and set my nerves at ease when I was super stressed with wedding planning. I highly recommend Riverside Lights! The booking company East Coast Entertainment was wonderful as well, very helpful, professional, and sincere. No complaints whatsoever. Thank you!

Amazing band and band coordinator!! Fantastic job

Amazing amazing band and Ken was a fantastic person to work with! They helped make all the “big moments” go off without a hitch. Their songs and performance were top notch and they brought the party. Can’t recommend them enough- thank you so much for a wonderful job!

Stop! You've Found Your Wedding Band Right Here!

My wife and I hired Riverside Lights to play our summer of 2019 wedding, and they exceeded our already high expectations. Ken is an absolute pleasure to work with and a real professional musician. We had multiple calls leading up to the wedding, and Ken came to each one prepared and also with his own ideas that we had not thought about previously!

Riverside Lights played our ceremony and our reception. They set the tone for the evening perfectly and even learned a few songs for us that they did not know previously! Riverside Lights had all of the guests up and dancing and having a blast!

My wife and I had multiple guests tell us after the wedding how great the band was and that it felt like they were at a concert with all their close family and friends.

All in all, we could not recommend Ken and Riverside Lights enough! They are professional, prepared, and they rock! If you are looking for your guests to have the time of their lives and for you to have the pitch-perfect memorable wedding ceremony and reception - hire Riverside Lights!

Absolutely amazing! Could not recommend them highly enough!

Riverside lights was absolutely amazing! We loved having them at my husband's birthday party and EVERYONE at the party told me they LOVED the band. I could not recommend them more highly. They will make your party/wedding/event a night to remember! I will definitely hire them again for a future event!

Flexible, Upbeat & Fun!

We used Riverside Lights for a Battle of the Bands for our members at our recent annual convention. The band was great to work with leading up to the event and even made a promo video for us to post on social media. Their performance was full of energy and fun! No matter what type of music you like - you will love this band!
