River View (formerly Mount Carmel) in Berkeley Heights, NJ, is a fantastic venue. They are really the least expensive available, yet their food was fantastic and service wonderful. Our Maitre'd made sure we got food and everything ran super smoothly. You have to stock the bar, which was actually fantastic because we got to pick some signature cocktails and they didn't bat an eye. I highly recommend them for your wedding in the area.

The Pallitto christening dinner was absolutely tasteless. The service was poor, the food lukewarm, and the coffee barely heated. I found the wait for the food was unreasonable, and the table help, removing food, etc., was of the poorest quality. I have seen teenagers handle guest better.
I will never recommend your venue. Cannot believe the Pallittos paid for such a poor showing.
