From the very first meeting they were warm, completely engaged and had a vision for capturing the greatest moments of our wedding ceremony and reception. Ricky and his team, both photography and videography, were so professional and tuned in to the energy of the day from the moment they arrived at our hotel as we were getting ready hours before the event. During the first look and ketubah signing pre-ceremony, they all found a way to capture the moment while blending in seamlessly on the perimeter of things. During the reception they were everywhere at once. The whole team was so personable with all of our guests and really captured the magic of the moment! It hasn’t even been a month since our wedding day and we already have all of the raw footage to view. It is like reliving the best moment of our lives to watch it all together. Ricky and his team did the photography for our wedding, and they did an amazing job! The service was far beyond our expectations and they really went the extra mile for us. It was important to us that our wedding day didn't feel like a photoshoot, and Ricky did just that. Such an incredible experience from the moment we booked Anthony as our photographer. He shot our engagement photos a year prior to the wedding which came out amazing and then he shot our wedding on 9/9/2023. He goes out of his way to get the incredible shots. He’s professional and fun and so down to earth. He’s very easy going and his assistant Debbie is also so amazing. They both went above and beyond. Anthony even helped put my veil on and Debbie helped Tanner with his tuxedo studs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

What can I say about Ricky other than he is truly fantastic! He is an awesome human being and a skilled, experienced artist. When you book with Ricky and his Team, you are getting expertise made by years in the business. They have worked at most, if not all, the wedding venues in the tri-state area and know the best spots for that perfect photo. Even if it is an unfamiliar venue for him, Ricky's creative eye just knows how to find the right location for that truly one-of-a-kind picture. He will scale buildings, shove himself in a cramped space, climb onto elevated, unsteady surfaces in order to fulfill his vision. You end up with the most incredible photos that will capture all of the best moments of your day.

We were also fortunate to have Chris as, another fun, and talented second photographer, and Gretchen, who’s stellar at assisting—a crew you MUST book! From the moment my husband and I saw Ricky’s portfolio, we knew he was someone we could trust to capture our love and wedding day exactly how we envisioned (and more!). We love his artistic eye, and thorough understanding of the wedding industry. It’s such a bonus to have a photographer who knows how to navigate the commotion that a wedding day can pull you into, and instead keep the flow of the schedule—and keep you focused and smiling all day long. We also loved how he learned our personalities quickly, and how to get natural, love-filled shots out of us, as well as power-couple-kind-of-shots. He sent over some “pre-teasers” and we are dying over them. Everyone keeps telling us how stunning they are, that they belong in a bridal magazine. I’ve literally been stalking the Ricky Restiano Photography Facebook page for the last ten years, waiting for the day I could finally call them up to book them for my wedding. So many friends, former coworkers & other acquaintances have used them for their big day and I was always stunned by the beautiful, amazing, unique photos that they create.

Dana Villanova is the contact point at the studio and she’s extremely responsive and communicative throughout the booking process, answering any other questions you may have about their packages and coordinating your day of timeline. She made it easy and seamless to reschedule when my event in 2020 was postponed due to COVID, and even held a date for me in case I still wanted to do an engagement/elopement shoot that same original weekend (which I didn’t end up taking advantage of because, the pandemic - but I was thankful to know I had that option just in case).

I had a phone consultation with Chris Perino, one of the lead photographers, and let him know more about my event and the vibe I had in mind for the day of. When it came time to finally meet in person, it was like we’d known each other for years (which it turns out, we kind of did as we learned we both went to the same summer camp). Him and his lighting assistant Eddie were so fun and professional and made me and my husband feel super relaxed throughout our pre-reception photo shoots. They also blended in seamlessly when it came time for dinner and dancing. I made a “must get” shot list and Chris was more than willing to accommodate those suggestions. He also has a great eye for finding amazing shots and light, especially in a venue as unique as the Bronx Zoo.

They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, and I think these photos certainly speak volumes! I am simply blown away by how spectacular the photos look and these memories are going to last me a lifetime. I would recommend them for any life event that you want captured in beautiful detail.
