Richard Jones Pit BBQ catered our wedding March 31, 2018. Every dish was delicious and our friends and family complimented how great the food was. My husband and I had a food tasting with Pancho and he was very informative and answered all of our questions. When it got closer to the wedding I spoke with Marcia and Pancho and they were both very helpful with finalizing the menu and timeline for serving. I really appreciate the great communication! We had tri tip, chicken breast, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, vegetables and Caesar salad on our menu. The macaroni and cheese was so good that we froze some of the leftover so we could eat it when we got back from our honeymoon. These guys are so awesome! Richard Jones BBQ catered our wedding last weekend, and everyone was raving about the food the entire time! Everyone I spoke with at the company was super friendly and helpful, and they were super patient with me when I was asking a million questions and changing things.

Every single dish was absolutely wonderful, and our guests were clamoring for seconds. According to the groom, the tri-tip was tender and wonderful (I couldn't have any unfortunately since it's medium-rare and I'm expecting), the pulled pork was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had. Their catering services were incredibly affordable, and even with the mileage charge to drive from Orange County to IDYLLWILD, and the fee for having under 100 guests, they were still $250 cheaper than a catering quote we received from a local caterer! And to top it off, although I was told that their servers would be unable to set out our cocktail hour foods that were purchased elsewhere (totally understandable), they did it for us anyway, and cleared plates from our guests when they were done as well! Just exceptional service and food all around. We couldn't be happier with Richard Jones BBQ and we'll be referring them to everyone we know!

We used Richard Jones for our daughters wedding last October and the food was amazing!! We received many compliments on everything from the food to the servers. At the end of the evening the servers had cleaned up not only everything they brought but also cleaned the kitchen at the venue to spotless perfection!! I would highly recommend Richard Jones BBQ!!

Just paid the deposit for this company to cater for my wedding at Highway 39 Events Center! Christy is very nice and professional, and super easy to work with! She presents you with all of their options, and goes over all the details concerning the catering with you! The food we received at the tasting was fantastic and the price I'm paying for 150 people and rentals of glassware and dining ware is fantastic!

I highly recommend Richard Jones Pit BBQ for all your catering needs! We had them cater our wedding last month - we wanted a laid-back, BBQ and beer vibe. The food was so delicious, I could hardly believe it. It was not your typical bland, reheated wedding catering food at all. The salad was crisp and fresh, the baked beans and mac and cheese were to die for, and the ribs, chicken, and beef brisket were tender, smoky, juicy, and perfect. I am still getting compliments about the food almost a month later! And in addition to the delicious grub, the customer service could not have been better. They were super communicative and flexible during the planning process, even accommodating us for a full tasting of our menu items because I am super picky! And the day-of service was also stellar. They arrived on time, set up and served without a hitch, and cleaned up quickly and efficiently. As the bride, I was distracted by guests, and all of a sudden I noticed that everything was cleaned up beautifully and the catering team was heading out the front gate! Overall, it could not have been a better experience, and I am very grateful to the whole team at Richard Jones Pit BBQ for helping make our wedding amazing.

My husband's one request for our wedding was he wanted BBQ, and I am absolutely thrilled we found Richard Jones Pit BBQ. The food is absolutely amazing (and was completely affordable). Whenever anyone talks about our wedding, one of the first things they say to us was how delicious the food was. Our venue, the Newland Barn, required us to bring in all of our own vendors. Not only did they serve us and our guests, they set up, cleaned up, and allowed us to rent the tableware (which was sooo much more convenient than renting it from our other vendor).

Amazing caterer. The food is absolutely amazing! My mother and I went for a tasting and we loved it all. They're very flexible on achieving the look and feel you desire for your wedding and they'll provide a lot of food for an amazing value!

Richard Jones BBQ was such a HIT at our wedding! We were looking for a low cost caterer that was still delicious food. That's exactly what we got! Christy and her team were amazing the day of the wedding. We also had them stay for after the dinner to help clean up. It was such an easy decision to go with them, they know what they are doing and everyone raved about the food! we also rented to linens from them and they made the tables look BEAUTIFUL!!

Richard Jones Pit BBQ catered our wedding and did a wonderful job. The food was excellent and affordable, they arrived on time for setup and the staff very professional and easy to work with.

Their catering manager even referred other vendors to us for flowers, DJ and bartender, so helpful!
