When planning our wedding, one of the things we knew we absolutely couldn’t compromise on was the DJ. We wanted someone who could keep the energy high, keep the dance floor packed, and make the kind of memories people would be talking about long after the night ended. Having experienced RhythMix Entertainment at another wedding, we already knew they were great, so reaching out was an easy decision. What we didn’t expect was to find Rob Battista.

After learning more about Rob’s background and seeing that he had opened for some of the biggest names in EDM, including Tiësto, Calvin Harris, and David Guetta, we knew we found our guy. Our friends love EDM and we wanted a night filled with incredible music, nonstop dancing, and serious energy. Rob absolutely delivered!

We did have one concern going into the night though: finding the right balance between the heavy EDM set we wanted and making sure our older guests had plenty of music they could enjoy too. Rob reassured us that he could make it happen and he nailed it. What followed was, without exaggeration, the best wedding DJ set I have ever witnessed. And yes, I know it was my own wedding, but I promise I’m not just saying that because I was the groom. Rob brought the HEAT for hours. The transitions, the song selection, the energy, the timing, the live saxophone, the drummer… everything came together perfectly. The dance floor was packed all night and the atmosphere was exactly what we had dreamed of.

The live saxophone and drummer took everything to another level, creating an experience that felt more like an incredible live show than a typical wedding reception. Rob read the room perfectly, kept the momentum going, and somehow managed to give us the EDM-heavy night we wanted while still keeping everyone involved. There was never a dull moment.

Even now, people are still raving about the music and how incredible the reception was. That says everything. Your wedding day goes by in a flash, but the memories you create last forever, and the energy Rob and the entire Rhythmix team brought to our celebration made it that much more special.

The entire RhythMix team was amazing! From booking until the day of the wedding, we felt very well taken care of - they made the process run smoothly and allowed us to relax while also having the best time ever. Our DJ, Howie D, brought the best vibes and playlist to the party - everyone was dancing all night long! Couldn't recommend their team enough :)

RhythMix Entertainment is so fantastic. My husband and I can't say enough good things about them. Our team included Jonathan, an MC, and Matthew the sax. They are a triple whammy of excellence!!! The entire team crushed the entertainment from the start of the ceremony to the last song. Jonathan was excellent and extremely helpful from the very first meetings of planning. Throughout the planning phase he helped turn our vision to life for a perfect wedding night! He delivered spot on with the music choice. He knew exactly when to play each song and delivered on the vibes we were going for. Matthew knew how to really elevate the dance floor with the sax. We would highly recommend this add on. There wasn't a single person sitting the night of our wedding. Matthew was able to interact with everyone while playing into our music selection. The MC was so so great. He was able to really work the crowd and hype everyone up. We couldn't be any happier with all three of them. The whole team is easy to communicate with, and work with. They all know how to throw an EPIC party!!! I would also recommend adding on a CO2 cannon which was so much fun. The whole team goes above and beyond and out of their way to make sure we were taken care of that night. 

We loved working with Brandon and Rhythmix so much. Brandon was easy to talk to on our first call and he fully understood the assignment of wanting our wedding to feel like a millennial dance party where nobody stopped dancing. One of my guests said “I’ve never seen a bride enjoy their reception so much” because truly I was dancing the whole night and so were our guests. On top of having Brandon- we also had the sax and percussions combo. The drums fit in so well to the music you could barely tell that it wasn’t the actual song and the sax was phenomenal- made the night soooo much fun and I would do that all over again!! It has now been 3 weeks since our wedding and everyone is still bringing up how great the music was.

We had an incredible experience working with RhythMix and their DJ/Event Host, Jonathan Rivas. Jonathan was recommended to us by the owner of RhythMix because of his experience at our venue, and from our very first meeting, we knew he was the perfect fit.

A few weeks before the big day, we met with Jonathan virtually to review every aspect of our wedding. He was exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and took the time to tailor the planning process to our vision and preferences. His professionalism and preparation gave us complete confidence that everything would run smoothly.

On our wedding day, Jonathan exceeded all of our expectations. From the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour to our first dance, dinner, and beyond, every detail was executed flawlessly and exactly as we dreamt of. He checked in with us throughout the reception and seamlessly made adjustments as needed to accommodate us, our bridal party, and our guests. Not only is he incredibly professional, but he is also kind, personable, and did an amazing job keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long.

We also chose to add a live saxophonist to perform alongside Jonathan during the reception, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Guests absolutely loved this unique touch! The saxophonist worked seamlessly with Jonathan to elevate the party atmosphere and even got all guests out onto the dance floor at one point, creating one of the most memorable moments of the night.

We had the pleasure of working with RhythMix Entertainment for our February 2026 wedding, and they were nothing short of amazing!

Our DJ, Jonathan Rivas, was fantastic—communication leading up to the big day was seamless. He was organized, responsive, and so laid-back and easy to work with. Jeff served as our emcee and did an amazing job keeping the energy high, making announcements, and reading the room perfectly. We also hired John on the saxophone, which was truly the icing on the cake—he made the night extra fun for us and our guests. These guys had the dance floor packed all night and somehow managed to play all my favorite songs—even though I completely spaced and forgot to send them our dinner playlist 😅 but somehow, they read the room (and my mind) and played all my favorites like Jesse McCartney and Ryan Cabrera (seriously how did you guys know!?)

Our DJ, host, musicians and support team were world class! Our wedding happened during a once-in-a-decade snowstorm and they made sure the event went off without a hitch. Not only did they ensure our day flowed smoothly, they made sure EVERYBODY stayed on the dance floor all night (including a few of our caterers, haha). Couldn’t have asked for a better music crew!

We used RhythMix and Jeffrey Marc for our wedding, and it was the perfect night. My wife and I loved him and my friends and family raved about him. My one friend said he even tipped him at the end of the night because he thought they were so great. I cannot say enough amazing things about the crew thank you for the perfect night.

Jonathan was fantastic at our wedding at Historic Stonebrook! He kept the crowd engaged all night with great mixing and seamless transitions. He played all the songs we requested and knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed. His ability to read the room and maintain the energy was impressive.
