A friend since childhood, Jen Lilly was the perfect officiant. Not only did she she fly to Colorado from San Diego, she brought with her a commemorative wedding license (certificate), jars and sand for a sand ceremony, and a custom ceremony (which she does for anyone). She coordinated her outfit with the wedding theme, helped my husband organize his thoughts to write his vows, and helped the wedding party stay organized on the big day. She also took care of everything wedding license-related. All we had to do was sign.
Of course, her being my beautiful friend since childhood has a significant role in the fact that I think she made our ceremony unforgettable, but I am not alone. Amongst other compliments, the venue coordinator told me that Jen Lilly was the best officiant she had seen in a long time.
