Rev Pat Callahan was the officiant for our outdoor wedding in March. We met him the first time at his home to make sure we were a good fit. We liked him right away. He was very warm, funny, and took the commitment of marriage and his role in it to heart. He also sincerely wanted to get to know us. Once we chose him he sent us his book of options on readings, vows, etc. We found what we liked in his book without having to look elsewhere.

We then met a second time at his home to run through our choices on readings, vows, etc. and then walked through the ceremony. We again really enjoyed spending time with him.

He met us at our venue for a rehearsal the day before the wedding and it was obvious that he had everything under control. We knew everything would go smoothly the next day.

Our ceremony turned out great. He was very warm and funny. We enjoyed the part where he gave a brief history of me and my husband before we met, then how we met, and what we cherished about the other person. He gathered this information from our previous two meetings, and he had really listened to what we said. We felt like he knew us in a short amount of time. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted and we received many compliments from our guests.

On a side note, I was initially drawn to him because I was raised Catholic but decided not to get married in the church. Even though he is no longer a practicing priest, his book of options for the ceremony included elements that were very familiar to me, which is what I wanted. My husband, who isn't religious, liked the options, without knowing some were Catholic. Bottom line is that he is open to make the ceremony yours.

Rev. Callahan was an absolute joy to work with. He really took the time to take our marriage seriously, and to get to know us, and on the day of our wedding, you would have thought we'd known him since childhood! Our ceremony was done beautifully, and we received so many compliments from our guests at what a great ceremony it was and "where did you find him anyway, he was GREAT!". He knew just how to match our style, and was a pleasure to have at the start of our marriage.

After meeting with several officiants, Patrick Callahan was the one we chose. He sat and listened to us at our meetings and even though he only knew us thru the wedding process, everyone at the wedding would have thought that he had known us since we were little kids. He made it so personal including stories of how we had met and even commented about my parent's and my (now) husband's parent's long marriages, 38 and 33 years. He is able to talk to anyone and would fit in with any group. I recommend Patrick Callahan to anyone who needs an officiant.

Reverand Patrick Callahan did a great job at our wedding! He got to know us and it really showed in the customized ceremony he did. He had a nice blend of humor, spirituality and compassion which fit really well with our personalities. My husband and I had both previously attended ceremonies where he was the officient and we choose him from those memories. We would recommend him to anyone. We recieved so many complements on how much everyone really enjoyed it.

Reverend Pat was really great. He interviewed us and really intertwined our lives into our ceremony. That was a nice touch, making our ceremony unique instead of a cookie cutter celebration.

Both my husband and I liked how Rev Callahan took the time to meet with us and work out an individual ceremony plan, he was very punctual and calm on the actual day which helped with all of the chaos that a wedding is.
