We found Pastor Matt through the Knot and spoke with him over the phone. He answered all our questions regarding pricing and ceremony logistics, and we felt confident moving forward with him as our wedding officiant. We did premarital counseling with him and he provided us four sessions that were very rewarding. He put us both at ease immediately and gave us the confidence to open up to him so he could get to know both of us and our relationship. Pastor Skiles helped us prepare for the ceremony weeks before the wedding and he was happy to add the Filipino wedding traditions we wanted to have. Valuable, Respectful, Relatable, Responsive, and Efficient are just some of the words I would use to describe Pastor Matt. It started when I was looking for an officiant for our wedding in Indiana. I came across (thanks Internet) Pastor Matt after I found out that he was willing to meet our criteria of officiant services and premarital counseling. I immediately contacted him, was greeted by a friendly face, and his prompt acceptance of our request to use his officiant and premarital counseling services. We had the privilege of meeting him first at a coffee shop in Indianapolis in April 2023 and the friendly face matched the friendly personality. We felt an instant connection as we laughed with him through the conversation of how things would go at the wedding. The subsequent weeks were when the (4) virtual premarital counseling sessions took place. They were filled again with connection, laughter, and valuable and insightful advice. Then came time for the wedding weekend in Indianapolis in August 2023 where he showed up on time for everything in spite of his own personal setbacks. This was very helpful for me since I was put in charge of hiring his services and because of the stress that weddings bring. When he showed up for the wedding rehearsal, we greeted each other with hugs because we felt as if, at this point, he was a lifelong friend. The wedding rehearsal was beyond successful. Then came the actual wedding where he again, showed up on time. I remember feeling confident in the foundation of my marriage when he came to visit the groom's suite prior to the wedding's start, him visiting was appreciated. Along with his professionalism, the wedding was a memorable experience. He officiated our wedding, and blessed the food at the reception. We are THANKFUL that Pastor Matt prepared for and was a part of our wedding! Furthermore, he loves God and loves people. We are so glad that we had Pastor Matt officiate our wedding! From the very beginning, he was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. We also chose to have Pastor Matt attend our wedding rehearsal. During the walk-through, he took charge and did an excellent job of explaining everything and helping it to run smoothly. He paid careful attention to detail, even telling the groomsmen how to position their hands and the bridesmaids where to hold their bouquets.

Pastor Matt was so great to work with!! My husband Scott and I did the premarital counseling with him over zoom as we live out of state and he was so flexible with the time change and our schedules. We loved working with him and getting to know him (and allowing him to get to know us) before our big day. He also came to and ran our rehearsal at the venue as well. He was extremely helpful with the ceremony process and helped us create the ceremony of our dreams. All in all, we would highly recommend Pastor Matt! He made us feel comfortable (even went along with our jokes and goofiness), was always punctual, professional, extremely helpful and considerate. Pastor Matt did an excellent job with our wedding ceremony. He also was a great resource and teacher as we prepared for our marriage. My wife and I highly recommend Pastor Matt. My husband and I were doing a simple vow renewal just us, our kids and my parents. Pastor Skiles made it better than our first wedding. My husband and I both were in tears, the ceremony he wrote for us was so personable and fit us so perfectly, it was inclusive, romantic and just so genuine it was so much better than I could have asked for.
