It's hard to know where to start with this review. As you can tell by my ratings, my husband and I are so so glad that we got our invitations through Judith and Reel Invitations. From the start of the process, Judith was a relaxing influence, easy to talk to and so much fun to work with.

Those of you who are planning your weddings know that the last thing you need are vendors who add stress to what can be a complex, often emotional process. Enter Judith: she exudes kindness and calm, she's a great listener, and was totally committed to making sure that David and I got exactly what we wanted. Filming the invitation DVD was a ton of fun (felt like playtime, and who doesn't LOVE to talk about how excited they are to marry their fiance?), and the final product was very impressive.

David and I were able to personally invite guests to the wedding in our own goofy fashion, and tell the story of how we met. We got lots of comments from our guests like "I thought I was watching 'When Harry Met Sally Part 2,'" and many people who lived far away said they really appreciated having a chance to get a sense of us as a couple, even if they'd never actually seen us "in action." I actually think that seeing how happy we were on that dvd helped convince some of our guests to travel to NYC for the big day.

Another bonus of the wedding dvd: we were able to show pictures of and directions to the venue, and hotel information including amenities, rates and pictures! This is INVALUABLE to people who are traveling from afar to join in the festivities. We also chose "our song" as background music. Everything set the tone for the incredibly fun day to come.

The invitations themselves looked GORGEOUS!!! Judith brought us a huge selection of beautiful papers to choose from, and printed the image of our choice on the dvd itself (we went with the top of the Empire State Building as a motif, since you could see it through the window we were married in front of). The overall effect was really stunning. This was important, especially for the few of our guests (mostly grandparents), who didn't have dvd players of their own with which to watch the dvd invite. All the info was printed beautifully on the paper invitation, so the dvd was like a bonus!

Basically, I can't recommend this service highly enough. Our invitations were delightful: bride, groom, and guests were just thrilled with them. In the interest of full disclosure, I feel I should state that we won these invitations in a contest on weddingbee.com. So perhaps I'm not the best person to speak to "value for budget," but I definitely think the personalized nature of this service is worth hundreds. So special and memorable! Thank you Judith!!

Reel Invitations was perfect for us and for our destination wedding. We loved the unique, modern format, which not only allowed our families to 'meet' each other through some of our favorite family photos, but gave everyone a good preview of the accommodations and activities at our destination. The ability of the dvd to connect directly to relevant websites that we'd chosen was great for preparing and exciting our guests.

Judith was very responsive to all of our requests and a pleasure to work with -- she even saved us a lot of time by coming out to our home for planning and taping. She really helped guide us in personalizing an invitation that everyone enjoyed. My parents watched it at least a dozen times before the wedding!

We had an amazing experience with this invitation company. The invitations were just gorgeous and many guests told us they kept the invite since it was unique. The value for the cost was very high and their professionalism was wonderful.
