Lieb & Rose is a unique and creative wedding company based in New York, New York and run by founder Julia DeMarco. Her expertise spans from completely custom invitation suites (from Save the Dates to RSVPs), to hand-lettered goods and hand-painted liquor bottles, to graphic design for occasion t-shirts and tote bags and more.

About Julia, by Julia:

Though it took me until very recently to refer to myself as an “artist,” I realize that is what I’ve been my entire life. Over the years, friends and family have been some of the greatest supporters of my work; they have praised my talent and encouraged me to continue. Finally, I decided to make my passion into a business of my own, named Lieb & Rose.

The name comes from my childhood home: I grew up on the corner of Lieb Place and Rose Avenue. To this day it is one of my favorite places, especially when the roses are blooming, the lilacs and lily of the valleys are particularly fragrant, and the tulips start to pop out of the ground. My mom always had flowers throughout the house and they are a constant source of inspiration for me and one of my favorite things to draw and paint.

A few important things about me: I studied Art History and Art & Design at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I have a (non-human) sister Hazel, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and niece Ducky, a Golden Retriever. Astrology is my (not so) guilty pleasure – I am a Pisces sun, Leo rising, and Capricorn moon, and it shows. Finally, none of my art would be possible without the voices of Stevie Nicks and Carole King in my ears.

Everything I make is personal. I love the creative process and working with individuals to create their ideal product from conception to fruition.
