When we first got engaged, we knew we wanted to host a fully vegan wedding. We also anticipated that it could be challenging to find a caterer capable of accommodating such a request for 130 people. Well, we did our research early on and came across Red Lentil out of Watertown. We submitted an inquiry through their website and received a response from Pankaj, the owner, right away!

Pankaj invited us in for a tasting at the restaurant and to talk over our ideas for the wedding day. The food was insanely delicious and creative! And Pankaj was so warm, calm, and knowledgeable. As we got to know each other, we felt we could really trust him and his team with serving at our wedding. We talked over the phone a couple times to finalize plans and the food and drink menu. We decided that a buffet setup would be the easiest option for our farm venue and we were SO pleased with the outcome. We had 4 yummy appetizers at cocktail hour, and for dinner, we had two salads and two mains – tempeh stir fry and nutty lasagna. We also had them serve a dessert buffet of cupcakes, cookies, etc. and our wedding cake – black forest cake, yum! In addition to food, they also stocked the bar and bartended for the event – we did beers (including N/A), ciders, wines, and soft drinks. The selection was tremendous!

We were so impressed and delighted with everything Pankaj and the Red Lentil team did for us on our special day! Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and how great the drink selection was – there was truly something for everyone, and none of our guests were even vegan! We are so glad we hired them, it was an unforgettable experience! I’m excited to be able to go visit them at the restaurant and reexperience their amazing creations in the years to come!
