We used Rare Sparrow / Shannon as our florist for our wedding on September 6th, and all I can say is WOW!!! From our very first call I felt like Shannon truly took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for our wedding florals, and she totally blew it out of the water. She was creative and flexible with our budget, and I didn't feel like she was trying to upsell us at all. I was absolutely obsessed with our flowers on our wedding day and she could not have executed our vision more perfectly if she tried. Would absolutely recommend her in a heartbeat and am honestly searching for the opportunity to work with her again!!

Gorgeous Florals!
Shannon provided the florals for wedding, which took place at San Francisco City Hall in a 2-hour private ceremony and at Merkado SF.
Shannon was a dream to work with! I loved her planning process, which included the wedding colors, the feel of the wedding, and links to the wedding inspiration board. Shannon understood my vision and provided beautiful detail photos, aisle meadows, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, welcome sign blooms, sweetheart table meadows, as well as candles and votives. My guests commented endlessly on how beautiful the florals were. They had so much texture and color!
Shannon knew the ins and outs of having a wedding at City Hall, which is notorious for having many rules/regulations for their vendors. She was also instrumental in helping decide how to repurpose my ceremony florals for the reception. Shannon handled the transport between the locations and took down our florals since we had a destination wedding. I cannot recommend her enough!

Amazing, everything I hoped for!
Working with Shannon at Rare Sparrow was great, her process was simple and easy. I felt like she really understood my color palette and it was great to see the visual mock up she made shortly after our first call. I trusted her recommendations on a lot of the questions I had, and the flowers turned out amazing! Working with Rare Sparrow was one of the easiest parts of my wedding planning experience!

Shannon and Rare Sparrow are incredible!
Shannon and her team understood our vision from the beginning and made some of the most beautiful bouquets, arches, and arrangements I have ever seen. I am a very picky person, and Shannon was great to work with- flexible, creative, kind, and most importantly unbelievable at creating a beautiful experience with flowers. We would hire her again in a heart beat!

Absolutely amazing!
Our planner got us in touch with Shannon and we were thrilled with what she made us for our wedding day. We had a general idea of what colors we wanted to match with our design but were open to her creativity and we are so happy with what she came up with. My bouquet was stunning and had flowers in it I'd never even seen before, the colors were so vibrant and beautiful and all worked so well together. The ceremony arch was so beautiful and we got so many compliments on it from our guests. The contract and process was really straight forward and Shannon responded quickly. We're so happy we chose Shannon and her team and we're still thrilled about the beautiful florals at our wedding.

Just what I wanted!
Shannon jumped right in and helped bring my vision to life! I sent her a few photos of what I had in mind and she executed beautifully. We had a simple city hall wedding and she put together the perfect bouquet and matching boutonniere! I loved working with her!

Incredible flowers by a talented and thoughtful floral designer
I highly recommend Shannon of Rare Sparrow! She has amazing skills and vision - and was absolutely incredible at understanding and interpreting what I wanted. She brought all the ideas to life in the most beautiful way! She worked with us seamlessly in planning our large wedding which we ultimately had to cancel due to the pandemic. Despite the unprecedented world situation, she was so thoughtful and supportive throughout it all and we are so grateful for that. She was able to create a whole new vision for our civil ceremony/celebration day that was beyond anything I could have imagined! Her flowers really took our day to the next level! The stunning arrangements and my extraordinary bouquet added incredible color and joy to our special day. With so much gratitude - thank you Shannon!

Shannon was so great to work with, from our very first call to finalizing the details as it got close to our wedding date, we felt we were in great hands. She truly took our vision and brought it to life and was more than happy to work with us and our budget to ensure we felt comfortable with everything, while not sacrificing the overall vision and final outcome. She went above and beyond to bring her creativity to a light installation as well, which ended up being my most favorite thing about the wedding! We recommend working with Shannon, you will not regret it!

Talent and vision resulted in a gorgeous wedding
Rare Sparrow MADE my wedding. Shannon's talent for creating beautiful floral designs and tables created the romantic tones I was hoping for on our big day. I knew after our first meeting that I could trust her vision would be even more than I could imagine. Shannon listened to what I hoped to achieve, provided photo samples to imagine the possibilities, and then delivered even more. I had so many compliments on the florals arrangements at my wedding.
