We worked with Eileen for our wedding, maternity and now family photos. For our most recent family session with our 6 month old, she came to our home and worked around our daughter’s nap schedule. She is warm, makes everyone feel comfortable (including my daughter who is having some stranger anxiety), and of course takes incredible photos. We’ve loved having her document our most life changing moments.

Eileen was just incredible to work with for our wedding, we feel so lucky to have found Buena Lane. Before the wedding, Eileen took the time to meet with us and truly understand exactly what we wanted and what was important to us. On the wedding day itself, Eileen was such a wonderful and calming presence - especially during the first look and family group photos - and instantly put us and our family at ease. She was also a complete pro with our two toddler nieces, getting them to smile and look at the camera.

Then there are the photos themselves. They are just stunning. Eileen is so talented and could not have done a better job at capturing the essence of the day, we couldn't be happier!

We were so happy with the work Eileen and her partner did for our wedding. From the very beginning, Eileen was incredibly professional, warm, knowledgeable and helpful. We absolutely loved her work and, after looking at MANY photographers, we simply couldn't choose anyone else.

Leading up to the wedding, Eileen was super on top of communication and each conversation we had with her reassured us that we were in good hands. We really had no idea what we were getting ourselves into or what to look for in a photographer. Eileen gave us great advice and honest thoughts without being pushy. She even sent us a small care package of local goods to start off the relationship. Such great attention to detail throughout the relationship.

On the day of the wedding, Eileen was calm, confident and orchestrated lots of moving pieces gracefully. We had a few big group requests that weren't the easiest to get everyone together for, but she knew it was important to us and made it happen. We felt super comfortable with her throughout the night, and she helped pull us away during opportune moments to catch prime photo opportunities without making us feel tied to her.

Finally, and most importantly, Eileen did a phenomenal job with photographing our wedding. The photos are simply gorgeous, and we will treasure them for our lives. There's a great mixture of many photos of the 2 of us, along with photos of the venue and set-up, group photos, getting ready photos, and candid moments that we're really happy were caught. We had such a fun, happy day, and we felt completely at ease knowing Eileen was there to capture it. She exceeded our expectations, and I can't recommend working with her more highly!

Eileen recently shot a private holiday party for me. Easy to work with, and turned images around quickly. I was very happy with the photos and would highly recommend her.

Choosing Eileen to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. She made us feel so comfortable and truly captured who we are as a couple. Eileen is extremely professional and personable. It was rainy and 27 degrees on our wedding day, needless to say it wasn't my ideal weather, but Eileen made it work. She effortlessly wrangled in our large families and wedding party for picture time taking the pressure off of me. I could not have asked for a better photographer and the pictures turned out amazing!! We plan to use Eileen for all of our future life events!

We cannot say enough great things about Eileen and how she has exceeded our expectations tremendously as our wedding photographer. It was so comfortable, fun and easy working with Eileen and we loved how she somehow captured our overall lifestyle in our wedding photos. It is hard to believe one artist captured so much in one day and her work is absolutely stunning.

Eileen kept in touch throughout the entire planning process and her expertise and organization helped us with our planning as well. She really spent time getting to know us, how we envisioned our wedding day and what was important to us.

We decided to have a split ceremony/reception with a coastal ceremony and a reception in a different location in the evening. Because of weather purposes we chose to have our ceremony late morning which meant our pictures would be taken at high noon, and our reception being many hours later would make it an extra long day (slight nightmare for a photographer...or so I thought). When we told Eileen our idea she was all about it with no hesitation.

In between our ceremony and reception we wanted to take pictures at a nearby state park and this entailed some hiking...once again Eileen was all about it and my husband was the one who ended up having to take his nice shoes off (the images she captured of him barefoot are amazing!).

Needless to say, Eileen went above and beyond to capture the details and moments that were important to us and now we have the most unique, romantic yet natural pictures we will ever have of us.

We received our wedding photos while we were still on our honeymoon and we were both filled with tears as we looked through that magical whirlwind of a day. We are so thankful to Eileen for capturing such a beautiful moment of our lives that we get to relive over and over again.

Eileen is an immensely talented photographer whose gorgeous pictures truly speak for themselves, but throughout our wedding day she felt more like our good friend -- accompanying us while we got ready, traveled to the ceremony, danced at the reception and so on. Because of this, our photos are a natural reflection of one the best day of our lives. She also managed, with very few words, to capture many group shots at several locations with family members and friends of all ages (less than one to almost ninety years old). Eileen always brought out the best in everyone with her camera!

We got married at the Church in the Forest in Pebble Beach and had our reception at Mission Ranch Carmel. I was impressed by Eileen’s initiative to meticulously scout out both venues prior to our wedding. She even arranged for a tour with the church! At Mission Ranch Carmel Eileen had unique and beautiful places pre-selected. On the way to our reception from the ceremony we spontaneously stopped the car and got out for some fantastic post-ceremony shots in the forest of Pebble Beach. Her eye for scenery and detail combined with her ability to put everyone at ease in front of the camera made for outstanding wedding photos.

We absolutely loved our wedding day and Eileen’s beautiful photographs have been looked at hundreds upon hundreds of times as we reminisce. There is not one photo of hers that my husband and I dislike. If you are reading this review you should honestly just stop looking and hire Eileen! My husband and I, our bridal parties, families and friends adored her and her photographs of our wedding day are something we will always cherish.

Finally, my husband recently commented that he loved the minutes after the ceremony when we had some “alone time.” I quickly reminded him that we weren’t really alone because Eileen was with us. “Eileen was the best!” was his response -- highest praise from the groom.

When my husband and I decided to have an elopement ceremony, we knew how important it would be to have photographs that truly captured the day. It was the only way were going to be able to share the joy and love with our friends and family.

To add a slight layer of complication, we had a guerrilla-style wedding ceremony. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We needed a photographer that could not only deliver top-notch service, but was also up for an adventure.

Eileen and Buena Lane Photography delivered. She gave us all the candid and styled shots we knew we wanted, and suggested a few more along the way, too. (She also provided the witness signature on our marriage certificate!) The result was a beautiful set of photos that captured the momentum of the occasion and reflected us as a couple.

Eileen did an amazing job taking family photos of my 1-year-old son, my husband and myself. I thought she hit the perfect, rare balance of capturing the moment and composing the shot. It's so hard to do, and takes talent and great taste. It's no coincidence that each shot turned out natural, vibrant, emotive, and beautiful, while also having beautiful cropping, colors, and lighting. I will cherish the photos she captured of us with our son forever. On top of the gorgeous end result, I have to add that Eileen made the process of the actual shoot super fun, so working with her was a great experience from the moment she walked in the door. I'm so happy she was our photographer!
