One word...amazing! I called Rani to do my boudoir shoot super last minute. She went above and beyond to help me make it happen with a very short amount of time She even scheduled the hair and makeup artist, too. (Nikki from Beauty and the Beach--very good)
I got on the phone with Rani and she gave me all these different ideas of what to wear and suggestions for themed outfits based on my fiance's interests.
I was very nervous going there since I am not very good in front of the camera. Rani made me feel so comfortable and make it fun.
The pictures turned out beautiful. I loved them so much I ended up buying them all!

I highly recommend going to her for any photo shoot whether it's boudoir or not. She takes incredible photography plus she turns the photos around quickly.

I just got my CD of images in the mail (in the most timely of manners!) and I am seriously blown away with the talent and professionalism of Rani. She did an AMAZING job! I was so nervous, as many who try Boudoir for the first time are, and Rani was so great and created such a warm, inviting and comfortable atmosphere. She makes champagne drinks, which helps with the nerves, and she is one of those people who makes you feel like you've known her (and loved her) for years. Her studio is gorgeous and she does such good job helping you pose and making you feel like a supermodel. She makes you feel so gorgeous. Katie from Beauty and the Beach is also as amazing! She is friendly and did a fantastic job, staying for touch ups and working with different looks.

I can't say enough good things about Rani, she is fantastic. Her prices are so much more reasonable then other boudoirs I'd found, and the images are 10x as gorgeous. They are so classy. Seriously, Rani is the best.

I did a boudoir shoot with Rani and absolutely loved the experience. It can be nerve-racking going into a stranger's studio to take photos of yourself in lingerie but Rani's sweet and bubbly personality put me immediately at ease. She played music and made champagne cocktails to help make the experience extra special. Katie from Beauty and the Beach did the hair and makeup, who also is so sweet and did an incredible job.

Now for the pictures - I had absolutely no idea what I was doing walking into it. But Rani is so great giving you tips, instructing you, and posing you to get the best angles for your body. She'll even show you poses herself. You could tell she works incredibly hard but also loves what she does. It was so fun feeling like a supermodel for a day and would highly recommend all women experiencing this. And I honestly believe you can't do better than Rani.

Her pricing is also very reasonable considering everything her packages include. Some other boudoir photographs may seem a bit cheaper on the surface, but maybe won't include hair and makeup, etc. Overall, boudoir ain't cheap, and to me, feeling safe, comfortable, having fun, AND getting high-quality pictures is well worth it. You won't regret it.

Rani and Heather were just amazing today! I was really nervous about doing the boudoir photo session, but these ladies made it extremely easy and comfortable! I did tons of research, and they are absolutely the BEST for quality, pricing, and vision. Rani makes it so easy to feel sexy and good about yourself, don't go to anyone else until you've at least spoken to her. She's down to earth, and not at all judgmental =). I had a photo shoot with Rani and I absolutely loved every moment of it! Rani has a great eye for posing, lighting, and angles, and I couldn't be more in love with the photos she took for me. When I was going through the proofs, I was in awe of my photos and I couldn't even believe that they were of me. She was able to emphasize the better parts of me while minimizing the areas of me that I don't really care for. It's easy to be uncomfortable while taking these kinds of photos but Rani has such a sweet, vibrant personality that I felt like I have known her for ages. She and Heather from Beauty and the Beach (who did the makeup) are a great pair and it was honestly a ton of fun taking these photos.

Rani's customer service is also top-notch and after experiencing less than stellar customer service from some other photographers, I am extra appreciative of Rani. She created a beautiful album for me and since she knew I was very busy planning for my wedding, she included all of my photos on a disc "just because". Her packaging for her products is super cute and fun and definitely added the extra "oomph" to her already great work.

The lighting in her studio is really ideal for photo shoots and is very flattering. I researched quite a few photographers in the area and Rani was by far the most reasonable, especially for the quality and what is included in her packages. She has a great variety of backgrounds and props/furniture at her disposal in her studio and she was lugging in more backdrops when I came in that day. She really is enthusiastic about her photography and is always on the lookout for something else to include at her studio for her clients. Her communication with me was always prompt, which is always appreciated. I highly encourage everyone to get these done (and soon!).

I would highly recommend Rani Lu as a wedding photographer. When I was searching for a photographer to capture my wedding ceremony, Rani stood out because of her talent and flexibility. She tailored a wedding package to fit the needs of our event and worked with me over e-mail to ensure all the important moments would be captured. On the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly and was very kind and professional throughout the day. My groom and I especially appreciated how patient she was with the children in our wedding party. I do not have any regrets about choosing Rani as our photographer. In fact, I would recommend hiring her along with Beauty and the Beach OC for hair and makeup, as they share a studio and frequently work together.

cannot say enough good things about Rani Lu! I recently had a boudoir shoot with her and the investment and experience was worth every penny. Rani is extremely professional and she made it easy to feel comfortable and at ease taking such intimate shots. She has a real knack for bringing out a woman's best angles and directing the posing in a way that looks stunning and flattering. Her talent is unmatched to any other boudoir photographer I researched. I spent a lot of time trying to pick the right photographer and I am so happy I chose her. The whole experience was wonderful and she was always quick to respond to my inquiries and had a quicker than expected turn around time on getting me the proofs to review. She has a gorgeous studio with beautiful furniture and natural lighting to capture amazing shots. Her makeup artist, Katie did a phenomenal job with my normally straight unruly hair and she has an excellent eye for choosing the right makeup to compliment your looks. I felt beautiful and because of her magic it came through in my shots! I would without hesitation give Rani and Katie my highest recommendation and I am happy to be able to refer them to any bride or woman needing photography or makeup.

If I could give her 100 stars I would :) Rani is the picture of professionalism and quality. She's also really really fun and makes you feel incredibly comfortable! The pictures she took are amazing and my husband LOVES them. She got them back to me really quickly which I loved too. I'll definitely be calling Rani back the next time I need a photographer and I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone.
