Working with Rachel was such a spectacular experience for us We felt connected and radiant truly ourselves when she photographed us. She made every single guest feel this way too! Her photographs are exquisite, romantic, and natural! We are enamored with each and every one. She captured each persons’ energy and each relationship so authentically. As we look at these photographs, we are reminded of every special moment and bursting smile and heart laugh and happy tear and groovy dance move that made our wedding the magical day it was. We are so grateful for her and way she’s helped us cement this day into our shared history and memory!

We met at a dinner a couple months before our wedding that ended up changing completely — we eloped instead! The only element of our big day that we needed to stay the same was Rachel. Her involvement with every aspect of the celebration was priority: from the send-off party the night before we eloped, to signing our marriage license in my father’s living room, then driving up the coast to Carmel (with a couple spontaneous stops), to finally staying the night as we waited for our nuclear families to join us at the beach under the chuppah the next day — Rachel had to be there for everything and it was very comforting how much she wanted to be there for everything.

I am so thankful Rachel was so prepared to take the journey with us up the coast to capture the multiple days we spent celebrating our marriage. Since we eloped, she had to play both the roles of grandparent and bridesmaid. We knew that if our best friends and extended families couldn’t be there, we had to make sure that our photographer was skillful and creative. Rachel understood how integral she was going to be and she did not take her responsibility lightly. With detailed schedules and thoughtful plans to photograph on multiple mediums, she single handedly created a visual archive of our celebration that is not only beautiful and sentimental — the quality of her work is unmatched.

There is a way to photograph weddings that most photographers use a template for. With Rachel, the template is the couple. With Rachel, capturing of both intimacy and joy is her absolute objective.

Rachel’s two eyes became the lens our loved ones get to peer through. Rachel’s heartfelt experience of our big day is the legacy we now frame on our walls and have documented for our children’s children. Rachel’s intention to conjure vulnerability without imposition is her true talent. I will always ask Rachel to honor my life story by being there to capture whatever comes next. She’s the best and I feel sorry for couples who don’t get this lucky!!!

Rachel's work is breathtaking and heartwarming. Her photos are of such high quality which I imagine is due to her years of experience, collegiate level photo training, equipement and talent. She captured all these special moments that may have been missed if she was not there paying attention to our guests. She curates beautiful images and brings her own style that is full of beauty, fun, reverance, and grace. More than anything I loved that she caught heartfelt moments of Adam and I and our loved ones that I will cherish as long as I live and will be happy to pass down if I am able. She made us look fantastic.

Sooo happy!! Rachel was nothing short of amazing!! We had a last minute cancellation from another photographer and that’s when we found Rachel - couldn’t have worked out better and especially for such short notice. She was incredibly kinda and easy to work with, I’ve already shared her contact with a number of friends for their upcoming events. Rachel was such a pleasure to work with. From before our shoot she made sure to chat with me and see what I wanted and what style I had in mind. She was so responsive and was always there to take my calls. I sent her some photos for inspiration that I really I liked and wanted to get and she made sure to capture those and wayyy more. Rachel is a sensitive photographer who really takes the time to get to know you and makes you feel so at ease. She made the whole process seamless in that the times we were posing for her were so smooth and carefree, and the times that we were focused on our friends and family, it was as if she disappeared and found the perfect times to pop up and take the perfect photos. She's also great to be around, and didn't need to be told what to do; she captured the event from start to finish, so I could worry about other things. My husband and I had a small, intimate wedding and Rachel captured in a way that only she could. Rachel was friendly and accommodating and the pictures she took were stunning.She made us feel extremely comfortable and confident in what is not always the most comfortable of situations, photos being take of you.
