With the price of the location, it was perfect for us. We loved having the 10 hour package, along with the added hours for a minimal additional cost. Although we would have liked to set up the night before the wedding, it still turned out great.
They were prompt with their responses, however make sure you have all your questions answered to the fullest before you sign the contract. We had a little hiccup with alcohol serving, but it worked out for the best.
Our "wedding coordinator" given to us at the Putah Creek Lodge did fine; he was very responsive and willing to work with any little issues I had.
The location is GORGEOUS, with its simplicity and beautiful landscape.
Highly recommend the location, just know that you have to rent everything if you are to have the reception outdoors, not inside the lodge.

This is a beautiful location in the UC Davis Arboretum that is tucked away from all the hustle of the campus and surrounded by luscious green foliage. The stadium seating surrounding the fire pit was the perfect setting for our wedding ceremony and the yawn in front of the lodge was wonderfully accented with a white tent for outdoor dining for the reception. Ian Finch was our event coordinator and he was very helpful in answering all our questions and helping us get all the details lined out. There was a lot of paperwork involved because the Putah Creek Lodge is part of the UC Davis campus but after everything got submitted and approved, it was smooth sailing. The only thing I would have like to change was the on site rep that was assigned for the day of was not our coordinator Ian, whom we had been working with exclusively up until that point. Overall, we were very pleased with selecting the Lodge as the venue to host our wedding! Thank you Ian!
