Keawe DJ'd our wedding in Sisters, OR and literally made our day one of the best. He was very professional, made the planning process easy by providing planning sheets for us to fill out and did every little special request I had for our reception, mics and our grand intro. He was great to work with! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a wedding DJ who knows good music and keeps a party alive on the dance floor!

If you are looking for a fantastic DJ for you wedding or event, look no further. Working with Keawe was great from start to finish. Planning the event was professional and easy. He did the most amazing job for our ceremony and reception. Our guests danced the entire time, non-stop and literally every single one of them mentioned to us how amazing the DJ was. He even got our older adults onto the dance floor, and people seriously could not stop raving about the music. Stop reading this review and just hire them already.

How do I even begin to describe how incredible Keawe was, he is seriously a professional and such a fun guy! He DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and I swear every guest commented how amazing he was, and how incredible he was with music! All our music and cues were flawless. Pure Pulse Entertainment was absolutely amazing! Keawe did an amazing job entertaining everyone and providing great direction throughout the reception. Comunacation was always great with Keawe! Keawe made the whole planning experince so stress free, he was really laid back and just go with the flow even though I hired him before I had a venue space! We'd go over questions and if we got to something that stumped me, he'd just say, "I got it, don't worry." So that's exactly what I did, I just let him handle it and it was wondeful not having to stress about the details and being charged for every little change. I will say there was some mic issues day of, but thank the Lord my officiant handled it like a champ and we had a back up stand mic that we ended up using instead of the lapel mics, and no one complained about not being able to hear us so it was no big deal in the end.

We hired Pure Pulse, the Ultimate Package, for our wedding in July. We were very disappointed in the service that we received for the $2,000 price tag. The DJ did not have an understanding of the set up prior to the event and thought the event was inside instead of outside so was unprepared. His equipment ended up overheating because of the weather so he was only able to just hit play on the Spotify playlists we sent. We really ended up paying $2,000 for someone to just play through a Spotify playlist.

The Company asks you to fill out a DJ planner before the wedding which is in a lot of detail but none of it was used. We asked for all mothers and sons to be invited to join the groom/mother dance, which did not happen. We asked for all fathers and daughters to be invited to join the bride/father dance, which also did not happen. The dances for the groom/mother, bride/father, and even bride/groom dance were cut short when that was not requested at all. Our special moments were cut short and we still are not sure why.

None of the announcements we requested were made. He did not announce speeches, did not announce cake cutting, and at the end of the night, he just turned off the music which left our guests extremely confused as to what was happening. Guests were also turned down when they requested music, even after they had permission from the bride/groom.

We enjoyed the DJ for about two hours at the end of the night when it appeared his equipment was back to working and was actually able to mix songs for dance music. But this still is not acceptable as we paid for an unlimited service.

Overall, this service was the biggest let down at our wedding. I think for the price point, you should look elsewhere.
