Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 250 guests at this rustic inn. For your reception, you can choose Paige Hall, which is a grand ballroom with cathedral ceilings, large palladium windows, chandeliers and a wall of windows that overlooks their patio and gazebo. It can also be combined with their Historic Barn for additional seating. The barn contains the original horse stables and loft window where hay used to be kept. If you prefer an outdoor celebration, they offer their Garden Tent. It has a stone paver floor, a brick walkway, two chandeliers and beautiful lighting. For an outdoor ceremony, they offer their Garden Gazebo, Hillside Arbor or The Meadow. Publick House Historic Inn also has multiple smaller rooms, for more intimate celebrations.

History
Ebenezer Crafts opened the Inn in 1771 as a gathering place for Sturbridge residents and travelers near Boston Post Road. Through the years, they've welcomed guests such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and General Lafayette, as well as Bill Murray, Susan St James and John Travolta. They pride themselves on their hospitality and their delicious food from their 18th century Bake Shoppe.
