BEST Venue we could have asked for! A total fairy tale wedding!
We got married at Publick House Historic Inn and it was truly the BEST decision we made. From day one, Allison, Jon, Abby, Paige, and the whole team made us feel completely supported — every question was answered, every detail was handled, and they kept us calm through the chaos of wedding planning so we could actually enjoy the day.
Allison was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process. Her communication was clear, warm, and always timely — she helped us think through the tiniest details, guided us on timing, and made sure we felt confident and stress-free by the time our wedding weekend arrived.
On the big day, Jon Pensinger was our rock. He coordinated vendors, managed the timeline, and somehow kept everything running smoothly without us ever feeling rushed. From the baraat to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, everything flowed seamlessly — we never had to worry about what came next because Jon and his team were already on it.
Chef Ken O’Keefe and his team went above and beyond — the food was incredible, beautifully presented, and tailored to fit our Indian wedding. Our guests are still raving about the dinner and desserts! The venue itself is so charming and historic, but somehow also felt like it was made for us — the perfect setting for our colorful ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We’ll never forget how cared for we felt and how flawlessly everything came together.

Had an amazing day for the best day of my life. Was given a room that you can use to get ready in for the bride, and our suite for our over night stay. The property was decorated so nicely for the fall time, so our pictures came out amazing with all the fall colors. The staff was amazing from start to finish, from planning to the wait staff and our coordinator. They set up everything exactly how I imagined it and couldn't have been happier. Our guests were also happy about all the food also.

Best and Most Stress Free Wedding!
We had the best wedding at the Publick House! We didn't want to plan much, and Diana and the team there made everything so easy and stress-free! On the day of, Dennis and Savannah were amazing, making sure we could just enjoy our day with no worries! All of our guests had a great time - from the food, to the service, to being able to walk back to their rooms after open bar! They even recommended a DJ that we loved. The price and value was excellent, and I wouldn't change a thing!

The Best Wedding Ever!
When I say book this venue DO IT! My husband and I always knew we would get married here but didn’t realize how truly amazing they are. Allison is absolutely fantastic, she is caring, friendly and tells you exactly how things will go. We had no idea they would actually help you with everything!!!
Danielle and Savannah were also amazing. To the point were they bustled my dress. After a day of stress they quite literally made our day. My husband and I chose to relax during our cocktail hour and they brought us our appetizers the whole time. The best venue ever

Magical Wedding Day!
My husband and I knew we wanted the Publick House to be our wedding venue from the minute we saw it at our first tour! The grounds are beautiful, the wedding packages are affordable and inclusive, and we loved the idea of all of our family and friends being able to stay on site with us for our entire wedding weekend. We were married in June 2023 at the gazebo and had our reception under the tent. Our primary contact/coordinator, Allison, went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions and concerns were handled in the months leading up to our wedding. The weather on the day of our wedding went back and forth from raining to sunny and the staff was amazing about being flexible and keeping us updated on alternate plans for our outdoor ceremony. In the end, the weather cooperated and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony! I would choose Publick House as our wedding venue again in a heartbeat! We loved it SO much and had the most magical wedding day.
Publick house is located in a beautiful place with gorgeous buildings and decorations. Outside landscaping was also lovely. The staff were super responsive, helpful, nice, and flexible. All our guests noticed the professionalism of the staff. The food and service was great too. Even the chef came over to us and asked if we enjoyed the food. We got the open bar and the service was perfect. They were so supportive that we had no stress. They pointed out all the details that we never thought about. We brought the material for centerpieces and gave them a photo of our design, and they did it better than we thought. They also collected the decorations for us after the event and stored it for us. They had an awesome on site bakery as well. The cake was amazing and nicely decorated.
They gave discount codes for the guests with complimentary items from the bakery.
We all had a memorable night! I highly recomend publick house for a perfect wedding or any other event.

The Publick House Inn created magical setting!
The Publick House Inn truly helped create a magical day for our wedding! We had a relatively short engagement and our main contact, Cathy, did a great job working with us on finding a date that worked and getting all of our arrangements settled at a price point that could not be beat by other venues. The reception Chef Miguel and Pastry Chefs were very flexible with our tasting and dietary needs, while Jon our Banquet manager was a great support in organizing our very personalized ceremony. Paige and Kaylee were our supports on the day of and they were simply excellent; anticipating every need and making sure everything was beautiful and went smoothly, all with smiles on their faces! Our guests raved about the venue, including the food, personal touches and service. We are so very grateful that we chose this venue- we would do it all over again!

Dream Wedding
February 2023 Bride. Charming, warm, great food, friendly and quick service, attention to detail, professional. I can't say enough good things about this venue. They know what they're doing and I'm so glad we decided to host our wedding here. I didn't want to have to setup anything the day of the wedding. They not only set everything up but also took everything down. We picked up our decorations up the day after at checkout. Also surprisingly affordable for what you get. Incredible experience, definitely worth a look ☺️

Gorgeous, affordable venue
We had our wedding there 10/31/21! Cannot recommend this place enough as a perfect wedding venue! It's not only gorgeous, it's affordable, the food is absolutely delicious so is the wedding cake, and the staff goes above and beyond the entire weekend! Our wedding was magical in no small part due to how attentive Publick House is. We didn't have to stress about anything the whole weekend, they took care of everything! They even ordered orange soda for my husband's "signature drink", he was so happy! If you're on the fence about having your wedding here, DO IT! You won't regret it.

We loved our wedding at the Publick house. We cannot think of one negative. The grounds are beautiful and there are multiple ceremony and reception location options. The staff are extremely helpful and so kind. This place makes it so easy for couples to plan their wedding! We had to postpone 2x due to covid and they were very flexible and understanding. All our guests commented that the venue was beautiful. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

Amazing wedding
Our wedding day it was a picture of perfection. The Publick House was amazing to work with. They were so helpful through the whole entire process, even when we had to make changes to the table arrangements two days before the wedding. The Publick House is such a charming venue. Their grounds are gorgeous and perfect for a fall wedding. We had our wedding reception in the tent which was stunning and indeed kept our guests warm for having a fall evening wedding. The staff was so friendly. The food was so good! My guest thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. They put me a ease and I was able to be in the moment and joy the entire day. There’s not a single thing I would change and I would have my wedding at the Publick House over and over again. Whenever I had a question they were very responsive. Your customer service is excellent and they are very professional and coordinating your wedding day. I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding day absolutely perfect. I wish I could relive it over and over again. There is no doubt that we will be back to the Publick House for a visit. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Perfect venue! 10.8.21
The Publick House was the perfect fall venue. The entire process was seamless and painless. Shauna was our wedding planner and she was attentive, kind and thorough from start to finish. Danielle and Jon were our day of coordinators and they were amazing. There were other events and weddings going on and we still felt like the main event. The grounds are beautiful, food was amazing and the staff was so attentive.
The Publick House wedding package is worth every single penny. It included everything and was so affordable.
We wouldn’t have changed a thing and would do it all again in a heart beat!

Perfect Wedding
We are so happy and thankful we decided on Publick House as our venue. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need right on site. We were supposed to get married on 06/20/20 but because of the pandemic had to postpone our wedding to 06/18/21. I cannot say enough about how easy the staff at Publick House made this process. They were extremely understanding and didn’t charge us anything extra or make us jump through hoops. I’ve heard of so many other couples who had horrible experiences with rescheduling at other venues but Publick House was truly a blessing during that time. We also planned our wedding out of state, and they were able to accommodate a private tasting for us. Shauna was patient and available for my many questions. Day of James kept everything running smoothly and put me at ease. Felicia was incredible with calming me before the walk down the aisle and even getting up under my dress to do my bustle. I have only heard great things from my wedding guests. From the grounds, to the food, to the staff, and the accommodations everything was perfect. My only complaint was that it went by too fast. Thank you Publick House for the perfect wedding!!

The BEST day of our lives!
My husband and I booked with the Publick House in June of 2019 for our June 2021 wedding. We had attended weddings here as guests in the past and are frequent diners at the restaurant.
From the start Shauna and Cathy were available and all ears. They were always available to answer my constant emails over the 2 years, especially when COVID hit and we weren’t sure what may happen. My husband and I kept with our date and as March of 2021 came, we felt better. Cathy was responsive and attentive and always got back to me. We had an amazing tasting event, with COVID precautions, and felt great for our big day. Cathy worked with us to finalize details and on our final walk through, we met our INCREDIBLE event manager, Seamus.
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Seamus, my bridal assistant Felicia, and the events team. Seamus was with us from Friday to Sunday at our rehearsal dinner and welcome event, our wedding day, and our post wedding brunch. He was incredibly helpful, sincere, and made sure everything went smoothly. As a bride who has worked in events in the past, he made me feel so calm and confident in his team. They brought our vision to life and did it with a smile. I honestly cannot sing enough praise to Seamus, Felicia, and the entire weekend team.
Now to lodging. We picked Publick House because of everything on site. Not only is the food amazing here, but the lodging is, too. Michelle, Carol, and team are also incredibly amazing. As COVID changed so much for businesses, their lodging department has continued to persevere. They were always so responsive to my weekly emails for room block updates and calls the weeks leading up to the wedding. Our wedding weekend was also amazing. We had 30+ rooms that our guests booked and they were accommodating to requests for rooms close to each other, handing out our welcome bags, and helping with anything that came up in rooms. We are so thankful for their accommodations!

Our experience at the Publick House exceeded every expectation! From the moment we first visited to leaving the day after the wedding, everyone was so communicative and friendly. A seamless dream!
The Publick House was simply tremendous from start to finish! They coordinated every detail and made it so I had no worries or stress on my wedding day. There was another wedding happening in the morning before mine and I never would have known it. Staff members introduced themselves to me early in the day and checked in often to ensure all was going well and that I didn’t need anything. All I had to worry about was getting ready and they did all the rest. They had me drop off all decor, favors, etc earlier in the week and they set everything up and cleaned it up as well. All the food was wonderful and our guests were very pleased with their meals and cake. Cathy and Anthony S coordinated everything flawlessly and the day went without a hitch thanks to them! I would HIGHLY recommend the Publick House to anyone looking to get married or hold an event!

New Years Eve Wedding 2019
Emily and I looked for months for a venue like The Public House.
We wanted the barn theme but wanted our guests to be able to stay over close to the venue and the rustic charm of the Public house was just the perfect choice
We had 131 adults on 12/31/19
And everyone stayed onsite then attended a brunch with us the next morning. It was a perfect night

The greatest
The Publick House is an incredible venue. Addition to the magical backdrop, everyone there was great to work with making the day go without a hitch. Cathy, the wedding planner, was there every step of the way. She is the greatest human of all time and we absolutely LOVED working with her from beginning to end. The day of the wedding, Alicia and Jen were so attentive to our needs and were incredible at mastering the very complicated bustle for my dress. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff is the best. We got married in December, in between Christmas and New Years and the decor is stunning for the winter wonderland wedding I had envisioned. We had our ceremony off site and the only thing I regret is not doing our ceremony at the Publick House as well because the backdrop is just so beautiful. Our dreams came to life at the Publick House.

This place is amazing! From day one to the days after everyone is so professional, friendly and thorough. Cathy O’Brien is awesome! She is so responsive, helpful, accommodating and wonderful (I really can’t say enough about how great she is). She helped plan both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day and everything went smooth and as planned. Our event coordinator, Allison DeFazio, was with us for both nights as well and she was outstanding! She ran through everything the night before and on the wedding day, she really made sure everything went smoothly and as planned. Rachel Lee, the wedding assistant was also outstanding. She was so sweet and made sure we always had what we needed. The event staff was exceptional. The bartenders and servers were so fun and on point! I truly can’t say enough about this place, our day was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We will miss working with all these great people.

Everything was included and I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing! They took care of everything. The food and cake were delicious. the space was stunning. I've honestly heard horror stories from brides about everything that could go wrong on the wedding day and I didn't have anything like that happen. Our favorite day!
This place was everything my wife and I hoped for and more. From the beginning, the staff was responsive and held our hand through every detail, answering the many emails and phone calls as small questions popped up along the way . Our day of coordinator, Anthony, was spectacular. If my wife and I (or anyone in our family) asked for something, he was sure to take care of it quickly. He always managed to be right there when you were looking for him and even when you weren’t. It wasn’t until we got our wedding video back that we saw him in the background quietly fixing my wife’s train right before she walked down the aisle with our her even noticing. As for the venue itself, the entire property is beautifully maintained year round, so whether you have a winter wedding or a summer wedding you can’t go wrong! The rooms were perfect for all of our guests with both affordable and more luxury options. The pool was clean and made for a great addition the day before our wedding, and for a lot of our guets the morning of. We loved having everything we needed within walking distance. My wife had a wonderful experience in the on site hair salon the morning of while myself and the groomsmen grabbed some breakfast at the restaurant and then hung out on the property until it was time to get ready. We were married in the meadow, which offered an ideal space for any desired theme or decorations you have in mind. Lastly, the food. In all honesty, my wife and I enjoyed the tasting very much, but weren’t sure what to expect the day of (wedding food can be tough to impress). Not only did they impress, but we still get compliments on the passed appetizers, the entrees, and the hot dog/sausage cart offered at the end of the night. The food continued into the after party room where they provided a bunch of pizza to keep the party going. My wife and I had the perfect wedding day, and it was all thanks to the Public House and their lovely staff. Thank you all so much!

Absolutely Perfect!
We had such a wonderful experience with The Publick House! While we were planning our wedding, I was starting a new job, and going to school part time. I was so nervous about planning our wedding on top of that, but working with The Publick House relieved so much stress during this exciting, and hectic time! Everyone there is so kind, and will walk you through each step of the process. From our tasting, to centerpieces, to the day-of-timeline- the Publick House took the stress out of wedding planning! On our wedding day, Allison and Rachel were so thoughtful and attentive. My husband and I felt so relaxed and were able to enjoy being with our guests. The grounds are so incredibly beautiful, and our wedding day was more than we could have imagined. I am SO glad we booked with The Publick House, and would recommend them to anyone!

We can not say enough about how wonderful Publick House was from the start of the venue search through the end of reception! Every person we encountered or asked a million questions to was so helpful. The food and cake were amazing, almost all of our guests commented on this (we also did our rehearsal dinner here and received the same feed back).
There were two other weddings the same day as ours and you wouldn't have been able to know just based on how amazing they run things, it is a well oiled machine and executed perfectly every step of the way.
We cannot recommend Publick House enough, it was truly magical.

We had the best experience imaginable at the Publick House for our end-of-summer wedding. We recommend it as highly as possible.
From the moment we toured the grounds with one of the amazing wedding staff, we knew this was the right place for us. There are so many gorgeous and thoughtful touches—the variety of guest rooms, the ever-changing but always stunning landscaping, the Cottage for post-wedding hangout, and the incredible venues onsite.
The planning process was made so much easier by the wedding staff. I’ve told so many people how amazing it was to feel less stressed out after each detail appointment, because the staff were so competent and friendly. They were easygoing about things that we wanted to do differently, and they always had a great suggestion for things we weren’t sure about. I was particularly touched by their flexibility with my dietary restrictions at every step of the process, which included bringing me an individual assortment of meals to try on a literal silver platter at the tasting night.
On the day of, everyone was so unbelievably kind. They were present whenever we needed something and then seemed to melt away for the more personal moments.
Our considerable array of family and friends told us all weekend (and in the weekends since!) how great of a time they had taking over the Publick House for that weekend. They made our day so special, and we could not be more grateful.

Best venue for a wedding
We got married here on September 28th and I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere els! First off the grounds are beautiful well kept. The staff is more then amazing! They went above and beyond for us making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day! During the planning process they were very responsive through emails and phone calls! We highly recommend Publick House for your wedding venue!!

The Perfect Day
We just had our wedding at the Publick House on 9/21/19 and everything was absolutely amazing!! We fell in love with this venue the day we drove in to view it and were sent on our way with a bag of sticky buns! Every question I had leading up to the big day was answered by Catherine O’Brien with such kindness and professionalism. The day of could not have been any more perfect. Allison and Sabrina were so attentive, patient, and so down to earth that our day truly went flawless and amazing. I was told that I was “the queen of the day” and these two ladies definitely made me feel that way. The way the barn and Paige Hall were decorated surpassed our expectations. Our guests all raved about how beautiful everything was and how wonderful the food was especially the cake. We know we made the right choice about where we were going to get married from the second the day started. Everything was Perfect!
Wedding planning can be stressful, but Publick House made it super easy for us. Everything leading up to and day of was taken care of with expert precision. I could not be happier. The garden tent wedding was exactly what we were looking for for our big day. Kristin was so helpful in guiding us through the day. The team put out our lawn games and took care of every detail. The food was amazing (we kept reading reviews about their great cakes/bakery, and can 100% agree!). Our guests loved the food and ambience. Best Wedding Venue!
We cannot say enough about the excellent service at Publick House. You can tell by the service they provide that they are experienced in hosting weddings. It is as if our wedding meant just as much to them as it did to us. We felt like their highest priority. We got married in April in Paige Hall and everything went perfectly. We had many family members from out of town and it was reassuring that everyone could stay right on-site. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and day-after brunch at Publick House, and the service never wavered.
We worked with Shauna leading up to the wedding and Anthony the day of and the transition was seamless. It was like Anthony had been working with us the entire time. Shauna responded quickly to every email and phone call. She was extremely accommodating, and with Anthony's help made sure our day went exactly as we wanted it to. On the day of the wedding, some family ate lunch at the Tavern. For some reason, service took much longer than usual. When Anthony got wind of it, he made sure to that we were compensated.
We received so many compliments from family and friends about the service, food and cake! We look forward to returning every year to celebrate on our anniversary!

Garden Wedding & Tent Reception Were Perfection
Our experience with The Publick House could not have been better. The garden gazebo in June was romantic and beautiful. The tent reception made it easy to transition, and the space worked well for our 100 guests. Everyone complimented the food and Bakery Shop cake, as well as the space for dancing into the evening. A wonderful day that we will always cherish.

Great venue and so much more!
I cannot say enough great things about the Publick House. The venue is absolutely perfect, guests can stay on site, they cater the food and make the cake and we even had our rehearsal dinner right there! All of this is only made better by the fantastic staff. They were so well organized and we had a contact to help us with everything throughout the weekend. The wedding coordinator was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had during the whole process. Our entire wedding weekend went smoothly, we are so grateful to the Publick House for making our wedding perfect!

Perfect for a rustic wedding
We had a great experience with our May 24th wedding in Paige Hall. Everyone we worked with was kind and professional. Cathy has been there forever and was knowledgeable, flexible, and extremely accommodating. The food and dessert were delicious and the campus extremely beautiful. We love how much Publick House takes care of to relieve the stress of wedding planning. We very much look forward to returning to relax and relive our special evening.

Best choice you'll make!
The Publick House was undoubtedly the best choice we made during our wedding planning journey. They are so experienced in putting on weddings and it is easy to tell in how efficient, easy, and fun they make the planning process. They truly think of every detail so that on the day of you have nothing to worry about! Now when it comes to the day of.... that's where they truly shine. They're banquet manager Anthony and his colleague Rachel were unbelievable! We have a tornado warning and flash flood watch the whole day of our wedding but with their help, I barely even noticed. They showed up almost as soon as you had thought "I wish we had an umbrella" with 3! They helped with a plan B for photographs when outside clearly wasn't going to work out. They showed up with appetizers when they whole wedding party was starving after the ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about them and how much they went above and beyond. Not to mention the whole team transformed Paige Hall to look even better than what I could have imagined. Go with the Publick House and you will not be disappointed!

Perfect Wedding Day
The Publick House was an amazing wedding venue. Anthony the banquet manager and Julie the bridal assistant worked with us the day of the wedding and were very attentive, kind, and helped make the day run super smooth and as perfect as could be. I would definitely recommend requesting those two as the people you have by your side on your big day. I couldn't have asked for a better day! The food was amazing and we got tons of compliments on both the venue and food. Definitely go with the florist Michele Bernard that they recommend; she was amazing and knows the venue really well. The chefs at the Publick House are also great at accommodating food allergies and I felt very safe on my wedding day having a nut/sesame allergy. They took great care of us and our guests. Thank you Publick House for helping make our big day perfect!

Perfect Wedding day at Publick House
Let me start by saying The Publick House surpassed all expectations and did an A+ job on our wedding day. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
We visited the Publick House for Thanksgiving dinner in 2017 and fell in love with the venue and its staff. We were impressed by how accommodating, friendly and hard-working all the staff members were; and we loved the food and famous sticky buns. We knew right away that the Publick House was where we wanted our winter wedding to be.
The Publick House is especially beautiful with its winter décor! From the Christmas tree and string lights in Paige Hall to the snowflakes hanging in the barn, the setting is mesmerizing and beautiful!
Now back to the staff: they were incredible to work with! Everyone from management to servers went out of their way to make sure we and our guests were taken care of. The Publick House also works to make wedding planning easier for couples by providing optional oil lamp centerpieces and the wedding cake.
We can’t say enough positive things about our wedding day at the Publick House. Our family and friends loved the Publick House just as much and we do. My wife and I have already decided to make it a tradition to return to the Publick House every year on our anniversary!

Everyone at the Publick House was amazing. So nice and professional. They all helped make our day perfect. They kept everyone on time and coordinated everything perfectly. They were very attentive and quick if we needed anything. All of our guests complimented us on picking such an amazing venue for our wedding day. Even with the nor’easter ruining the initial plan for ceremony outside publick house still made sure our ceremony was perfect. I completely forgot that the original plan was to have it outside. The whole place is gorgeous. The food was amazing. They customized our cake perfectly.

Our wedding October 26th 2018!
We had our wedding at the Publick House on October 26th. We knew as soon as we saw the Publick House Garden Tent it was the place for us. Our wedding day was a bit chilly but the garden tent was well heated and beautifully lit. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for a fall wedding and the Inn has so much New England charm. We loved that our guest were able to stay on site. Cathy and the Publick House Team were easy to work with through out the planning process and we’re able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Our banquet manager Anthony and attendant Paige really knew what they were doing the day of and made us feel at ease. The service was great and the food was delicious. All of our guest enjoyed their meals and had a blast! Their wedding packages are very reasonably priced and everything was perfect. Thank you Publick House for making our wedding day everything we thought it would be and more!

Perfect Venue
We are so pleased with the Publick House! It was the perfect venue for our wedding in October. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Everyone we worked with was so friendly and helpful. We loved that guests could stay onsite and most took advantage of this. The wedding packages can't be beat... there's so much included and we used their oil lamps and table numbers as part of our centerpieces. The grounds were beautiful, there was pumpkins and mums everywhere which was perfect for our Fall wedding. The rustic feeling of Paige Hall is exactly what we wanted and gave that warm and inviting feeling. We highly recommend the Publick House!

Best Day Ever!
My husband and I were recently married at the Publick House on October 7, 2018 (we had a tent wedding). I can’t begin to explain how happy we were with the overall experience of our wedding day and working with the Publick House. The Publick House was the only venue at which we looked! Initially, we went to view the indoor reception area, but we fell in love with the tent reception and decided to have a tent wedding. We found the overall cost to be extremely reasonable and it also didn’t hurt that we were able to have our rehearsal dinner there and stay in their onsite accommodations. It’s truly a one-stop shop! Communication from the beginning was amazing. I must thank Diana, Amber, and Shauna for being so responsive, professional, and informative. The details meeting was extremely helpful and calmed a lot of nerves I had about the wedding day. They were extremely thorough, which I truly appreciated. A few days prior to the wedding I met with Shauna and our day of coordinator, Anthony. We were able to drop off all our decorations and items and review any last-minute concerns. On our wedding day, Anthony was fantastic! Again, he was very professional, like the rest of the staff we had encountered, and he was ready and available to help with anything we needed. I even had a bridal attendant, Paige, who was so helpful at the time of the ceremony and even bustled my dress and made sure I was fed before joining our guests at the reception. The overall team at the Publick House was wonderful. My husband and I are so happy we had our wedding there. It was truly the best day ever! We also received nonstop compliments DURING the reception about how great the venue and grounds were and how much fun people were having. I look forward to returning to the Publick House for anniversaries and weekend getaways!

We were married at the Publick House in September 2018 and it could not have been more perfect! Throughout the planning process our questions were answered promptly and accurately and everything was so organized. When the big day finally arrived everything was spot on! From the setup to the food to the reception area, everything was exactly as I had dreamed. Our guests raved about the food and the service, plus the location was amazing and looked great. I also wanted to mention how amazing Kristin was the day of our wedding- everything was seamless. Not only that, but she went out of her way to be kind to my younger sister, who is disabled. Our wedding at the Publick House was amazing! The food is delicious and I’ve had several complements from guests. The inn and grounds are beautiful. And most importantly the staff was wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. They helped walk us through planning and took care of everything on the day of which was very important to me. We had an event coordinator and bridal attendant who helped make sure everything went off without a hitch and our needs were met. The whole day was just wonderful, exactly what I was hoping for as the bride.

We had a great experience with Publick House! We planned our wedding in less than a month, and Publick House was amazing with helping make sure our day was perfect on a tight timeline. Their team was fantastic and everyone worked together to make sure everything went well. We used their preferred vendor list which was a huge help in planning since they had all been working together for so long it really took a lot of stress off of us with the planning process. We had our ceremony on the Hillside Arbor and the reception in Paige Hall and both locations were absolutely perfect! We highly recommend the Publick House! These guys absolutely know what they're doing and have all the staff and resources available to make it happen. My salesperson, Amber, was always responsive and helped to keep me on track (and forgave my constant lateness). The catering director Cathy was very accommodating. My event manager John was an absolute star and was so vital to having the day go well. He was an amazing problem solver and didn't let anything go astray. Even my bridal attendant Paige was great! I feel like I had an army of well prepared professionals working on my wedding. There were other events happening that day and I honestly couldn't tell; we were never rushed or neglected. Also, the price was a great value! Would absolutely recommend to any future couples looking to get married in Sturbridge!

I just had my wedding there June 17th, it was originally Sept 3rd but 2/2 a family illness it needed to be moved up to much sooner - Publick house gave us all their open dates and we ended up planning the wedding in a week. It seemed impossible but everyone we worked with was amazing and made it happen. The venue is so beautiful we had the ceremony at the gazebo and reception the white tent. It turned out exactly how I wanted, I don’t think it would have been any different even if it hadn’t been moved, you’d never know it was all done in a week. If anything went wrong I never knew it, everything was flawless. The food was great, the cake was AMAZING. They made all our dreams come true in legit a week!! I only looked at 2 venues prior to seeing Publick House and I knew right away I didn’t want to look keep looking that it was the venue for us and OMG I so glad I chose it.

I cannot begin to express how thrilled I am with the Publick House! My husband and I were married there February 2018 and from the beginning of planning until the very end, the staff went above and beyond making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Our bridal assistant Anthony was absolutely amazing! Anthony was always thinking two steps ahead of us and guest are still telling us about all the little things he did throughout the night that made all the difference. The food is fantastic and our guests were raving! The overnight rooms are cozy and all have their own charm. The Tavern was perfect for late night indulgences and the Tap Room served amazing breakfast. They even made our wedding cake and included a chocolate covered strawberry! All I can say is, YES! For every occasion and reason, YES! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our wedding the experience of a lifetime!

After attending a tent wedding here we knew this would be our place! Our initial meeting with Laura went great and we got lucky with a great rate on a holiday weekend. From the flowers & decor by Michele to the delicious cake from the bakery, it was a perfect day! Anthony our day of coordinator was also a key part of our day. He made sure everything was as we wanted and he always had a smile on his face. I would highly recommend!

We just got married here on 9/23/2017 and no matter how many amazing things I write, it will not be enough! I can not even begin to describe how incredible the team at the Publick House is, especially Catherine O'Brien and Kristin Jacobson. And the pictures featured here are nice, but they do not capture how absolutely stunning the grounds are in person. There was some construction going on next door and it could still not take away from the romantic, rustic, New England charm that radiates from this place. We were married in the meadow, under the tree and had our ceremony in the tent. The tent was set up to perfection, everything looked better than I could have imagined it. The food was INCREDIBLE, even the bread basket blew our minds! I highly recommend the orchard chicken dish. My family and friends raved about it all night and the next day. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable. The staff was there at every turn, shuttling us in golf carts, helping us put on boutonnières, guiding us through the cake cutting, first dances etc. We looked at a lot of venues, but this was the one for us. Also, it was incredibly affordable for everything that you get. The cake for instance is included in the package and oh my god. It was baked fresh that day and decorated just like the picture I sent, gorgeous and delicious! I could go on and on. A friend recommend the publick house when we started our search for venues. Once I had a tour of this beautiful place I fell in love, I didn't even go look at any other venus! What more can I say about the Publick House besides PERFECTION! We were planning our wedding from California and every step of the process was a breeze. They accommodated our schedule for tasting and other detail meetings depending on when we would be on the east coast. It was such a pleasure working with everyone. Cathy helped us the whole way with updated detail sheets and answered every single email and question I could possibly come up with! When it was finally time for our wedding weekend and we finally arrived at the venue we were AMAZED. The property is beautiful and the old New England charm was just as we imagined. We had non stop compliments from all of our guests and it was a joy to spend the weekend with all of them right at the venue. Our wedding went off without a hitch (that we know of) and we couldn't have imagine a more perfect wedding. The team at the Publick House are true professionals and know what they are doing. The food, the atmosphere everything was perfect. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary!

The Publick House made the wedding of our dreams come true. They guided us every step of the way, were so responsive and helpful every step of the way and stepped it up even more on the day of the wedding. They guided us through every detail (even the tiny ones!), our rehearsal went very smoothly and the wedding day was so easy with them guiding us along every hour leading up the ceremony. When we visited the publick house on our search for wedding venues we knew we had found the right place for us. There were so many things we liked, but above all we felt really comfortable with the wedding sales staff. They were very welcoming, receptive to our ideas and they took time to go over every possible option we were interested in. Amber took over our account for Lisa, our previous wedding sales manager, and she did a great job. She answered all our questions on a timely manner. she addressed all our concerns. The venue itself has a unique historic charm, with all the modern amenities. The location is great, located one minute from I84 with plenty of parking. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Craft Room and it was great, very spacious and comfortable. Our wedding was in the Garden Tent, which looks really nice especially at night. The food is delicious with plenty of variety to choose from. We chose to have the “bacon bar” during our cocktail hour, we cannot overstate how much of a hit that was, it was awesome. They have a bakery onsite that created an amazing cake for us, and we can’t forget to mention their famous pecan rolls. Our ceremony had to be moved in doors because it rained on our wedding day, but the staff at the Publick house did such an amazing job setting up in doors and everything went off without a hitch. Our Banquet manager for our wedding night was Anthony and we cannot say enough about the incredible job he did. He was always several steps ahead of everything, we did’t have to worry about a thing. Thank you Anthony! And thank you Publick House!

In my opinion, The Publick House is the perfect venue for a wedding whether you want an outside or inside wedding. They are there to help you from start to finish and for everything in between along the way. They have so much experience, and are in sync with all the vendors. Honestly, you can't go wrong choosing the Publick House and their preferred vendors. There are so many beautiful backgrounds for pictures both inside and out. Their food is fabulous, the bakery is phenomenal and the staff are so professional. Their pricing is very reasonable and includes things that other venues don't offer. Their experienced staff can answer any question and save you tons of time making decisions. A bonus is their variety of lodging on site at various prices so your guests can stay overnight. This is especially helpful for an evening wedding. Everything was virtually flawless and I can't say enough good things about this venue or their staff or vendors. We are so happy we planned our wedding with The Publick House!

We had our wedding here on 4/22/17 and it was the most amazing time. We were engaged in 2015 and booked our wedding here at the end of that year. We loved the cozy rustic feel of the Publick House and also that everything was onsite. We had an open bar and did not want people to drink and drive and we also did not want to rent buses. People loved that they were walking distance to their rooms, the cottage was available to rent for after the reception and all of our guests had an amazing time at the after party, we were up until 5am! Throughout my entire wedding process the staff was very responsive to my questions and emails. I never waited more than a day for a response from them. Another thing I loved about this place was that everything was included if you did not want to DIY items (I am not a DIY person). I used their centerpieces and card box, the cake was included in the cost. Also the venue puts out all of the decorative items you may have (some places make you assign family or friends to do it the day of). I just had to drop my stuff of with them and the staff set up my seating cards, lights and a couple signs I had. Overall this was the best experience and I highly recommend having your wedding there if you are thinking about it!

Okay so my wife and I are scared to spend money, it makes us ill to do so, the price for the Publick House was so inside our budget. It was the first and last place we looked to have our wedding and it was beautiful. The day of we really just had to be there, they were on top of everything and thought of everything. It was the best when we walked out of the room after just being married and someone was waiting with a tray of booze. I tell everyone to get married there. You, reading this, GO GET MARRIED THERE.

They were more then accommodating with making our wedding what we wanted and made sure we had not only an amazing wedding night but amazing wedding weekend! Although I was not able to have my wedding at the Public House (because we were having a winter wedding and had too many guests for their ballroom) I did have my wedding shower there! We had about 48 people in Crafts Hall and it was a perfect fit for a cool winter morning! The beautiful historic look provides enough of a background that you don't even need that much decor! The brunch was hot and amazing and cupcakes that were served were delicious! It was a great day and all my guests had a great time!

The Publick House was the absolute perfect spot for our wedding reception. For fall weddings, it cannot be beat. It's cozy, warm, and just very welcoming. There are so many positive things to note:
1. Food, bar, and cake are all taken care of in-house. I found it really helpful to not have to worry about separate caterers. The food and cake were delicious. They do a tasting a few times a year for couples to try the food, and that was a great event. We chose salmon, prime rib, and turkey (two choices included, we picked one extra for a fee). Vegetarian option is also available. I heard that that was not as good as the rest of the food, but since it's chef's choice, it could have just been underwhelming on the day of our wedding.
2. Lodging on the premises. Cannot say how helpful this was. Almost all of our guests were coming from out of town (including us!), so this was a huge benefit. Guests could just walk to their room when they were tired. The bridal suite was in the Chamberlain House, and it was beautiful. It was the perfect size for my five bridesmaids and I to get ready (and that included enough space for the two hairdressers and their equipment to get in too!). Bridal suite is included in wedding package for night of the wedding.
3. Paige Hall. This is where we had our reception, and it was so charming and beautiful. It fits about 160 people. We found it to be the perfect size--cozy, but definitely not cramped. It was the perfect place for us.
4. Lisa LaCoste and the other people who help with weddings at the Publick House. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Lisa was truly exceptional. She helped put me, my husband, and my parents at ease when we were starting to get frazzled about plans, and she was always available leading up to the wedding. Cannot thank her and the rest of the staff enough.

We had our wedding at The Publick House on 12-31-16. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how perfect and wonderful it was. Kris, Danielle, Cathy and everyone was amazing. Special thanks to Danielle, our bridal assistant. She was always right next to us with everything we needed throughout the night before we even knew we needed it. The communication from our coordinator up to the big day, throughout the big day, and after with any questions or comments were answered immediately. Our ceremony and reception were both held in Paige Hall and the staff did an amazing job flipping the room quickly and seamlessly during cocktail hour. The food was delicious, and the cake even more delicious. Our stay in the lodging there was great, clean, and enough space for all our guests, as well as rooms were big enough for the bridal party to get ready in. Our wedding was spectacular, we got a ton of compliments from our guests, and there is nothing negative I could say about this venue. Highly recommend the publick house!

We cannot even begin to describe how magical, stunning and beautiful our December wedding was at Publick House in Sturbridge. From the day we booked our event, the staff was readily available for questions, contacted me regularly for verification of information, and answered any questions I had along the way. When dropping off our decor and having our final meeting I was completely at ease once meeting our banquet manager that would lead our day, Kristen (Kris). We reviewed paperwork to check that we had everything we needed and she was right on point with everything making me feel like I didn't have to think about the details any more! That is such a a great feeling to be able to just relax going into the wedding weekend. Upon the actual ceremony day, the staff was attentive, directed the plans as we had discussed, and helped corral everyone to be sure we got things done as planned. Also, Danielle, my bridal assistant, was awesome! Everyone at Publick House displayed professionalism, showed genuine interest and concern in making sure our day went off as planned, and was cordial and happy to be part of our day! I was planning the wedding from abroad and the team were so incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding, very responsive and helpful even though we had to do almost everything over email! Lisa and the team were fantastic! The service we received on the day of the wedding was even better - we felt honestly that the banquet team were like a part of the family they gave such personalized and expert attention. I fell in love with The Publick House the minute we pulled into the parking lot. I wanted my wedding to have that old New England feel and The Publick House was exactly that. When we met with our wedding consultant and banquet manager, I felt so incredibly supported and comforted. I knew after the first meeting that we would be taken care of in all aspects of our wedding. Everyone told me that the venue was the biggest headache during the wedding planning process. Thankfully, we did not have that experience. Everyone was extremely accommodating and patient with us during a very busy and stressful time.
Cathy O'Brien, our wedding coordinator and Kris Jacobsen, our banquet manager were the two people who we specifically worked with throughout the wedding planning process. They are both incredible at what they do and were so awesome to work with. They tirelessly worked with us for months and made our wedding day even more beautiful and perfect than we could have ever imagined. Both of these people were huge blessings to my family and I throughout this wedding planning process. We are so thankful for them and for all those who helped make the wedding day so incredibly special at The Publick House. We had an incredible experience. My husband and I as well as all of our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful the wedding was. We have the Publick House to thank! Everyone there is truly amazing at what they do. I can't say enough about The Publick House venue and staff, we had the best experience with them for our wedding on 9/30/2016. We had our wedding in the Garden Tent with around 125 guests and had planned to have our ceremony at the gazebo next to the tent, unfortunately it rained the day of our wedding BUT the staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to wait until the last minute (seriously 15 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start) to move everything into the tent for our "Plan B" ceremony. The rain made no difference as the ceremony was just as beautiful inside their tent and we were still able to get some gorgeous pictures around their perfectly maintained grounds. We toured quite a few venues and The Publick House was by far and away the best value. The cost was very reasonable and their staff support was fantastic from our initial tour down to our day of banquet management. We chose to use their recommended vendors for our DJ (Champagne Toast), Florist (Michele Bernard), and Photographer (Heather Fuller), all of whom were amazing and easy to work with. This is the type of venue that can take care of everything for you, which was ideal for my husband and I as we did not have a lot of time to dedicate to planning our wedding. Outside of the wedding itself, we had a great rehearsal dinner in one of their indoor locations with delicious BBQ and the onsite overnight accommodations were perfect for our guests. The food overall was delicious from the cocktail hour apps to the entrees to the cake that they make in house. I HIGHLY recommend The Publick House to any bride/groom!

Publick House was the whole package, wedding planner, catering, hotel rooms. They were flawless. I didn't notice the staff around on the day, but the second I needed anything they were right there and ready to go. The entire day was coordinated and ran so incredibly flawlessly. We also had the cottage house as an after party and breakfast meeting place and that worked do well. There were two other weddings on the same day, and we were in the garden tent where they had a lunch earlier in the day...you wouldn't have known if I didn't see a listing of the days' events. Really can't thank them enough for an incredible wedding.

We had our wedding at the Garden Tent. It was absolutely beautiful. Their grounds are gorgeous: they obviously upkeep their outside areas, but the flowers and plants are wonderful. The bar and the food were outstanding--enjoy the food tasting before your wedding, and good luck picking just one or two favorites! The staff are amazing. Kris Jacobson was our Banquet Manager, and she's a saint. She knew every question we would have before we were done asking it, she anticipated our every want, and kept the evening flowing along wonderfully. Ashley was our Bridal Assistant, and she was some kind of angel. She brought us drinks and snacks during cocktail hour, she was there to help with my train whenever necessary--one of my bustles broke, and before someone could even exclaim, "oh no!" she had magically produced safety pins from nowhere, and saved my train from dragging! This place is amazing!

The Wedding of my dreams came true because of the INCREDIBLE, thoughtful, caring staff at the Publick House. Not only is everything on site (multiple hotel options, a Tavern, different ceremony and reception sites all with their own feel) but you get your own wedding planner for every step of the way, a banquet manager to run the show, a personal bridal assistant, AND all of the behind the scenes staff DID AN AMAZING JOB setting up and were so kind and helpful. Everyone from the wait staff and bartenders to the bakery shoppe were just so amazing and obviously love what they do!!! Our wedding planner even contacted and coordinated with all of our vendors for us and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Does anyone else give you your own wedding planner included in the price?? NOPE! This place is one of a kind!!
I was seriously the most nervous bride ever and they just made sure everything went perfectly, they got us all where we needed to be and communicated with the other staff (even with walkie talkies) to make sure everyone was where we were supposed to be at the right time. The new Chamberlain House (hotel) was BEAUTIFUL and had new amenities. The value of the meals and venue were great, the food was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our day amazing and it really was!!! I can not say enough great things about the Publick House and their incredible, thoughtful staff. Wow.

I had my ceremony and reception at the Publick House on August 26, 2016. I am so glad I chose this amazing place as my venue! What first brought me to the Publick House was the location and the tent. I wanted to have a ceremony at a garden and the reception at a tent. All places I had looked for a tent wedding were outrageous. When I went to the Publick House, I loved the place-it has so much character! I thought it would be the perfect venue to have the ceremony, the reception, and have the guests stay at the hotel. They have it all! The price is so affordable and it's unbelievable the service you get for the price. The package comes with a cake and it includes a lot of extras like accommodation for the newly weds and receptions extras. I booked the venue about a year and a half ahead of time and my experience throughout the entire process was wonderful from the sales team to the banquet manager at the day of the wedding. The team was always responsive and well organized, they made the entire process easy. Lisa Lacoste coordinated all the details with me and made me feel at ease with her professionalism and experience. Kris Jacobson, the banquet manager, made everything happen the day of. She runs the show and she is extremely caring and detail-oriented. I got SO many compliments- that the grounds were so beautiful, the food was AMAZING (and so was the cake), and the staff was so friendly. Even when a lot of my family members who had traveled from a different country and didn't speak the language, they went above an beyond to communicate with them. I am so grateful for the perfect wedding at the Publick House and to their staff. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I cannot think of a better place to have tied the knot.

We were blown away by our wedding at the Publick House and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a charming New England venue. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on the unique and warm atmosphere of both the Hillside Gazebo (for ceremony) and Paige Hall (for reception). In the nine months leading up to our wedding, coordinator Lisa Lacoste and her team were patient, thoughtful, and paid close attention to our needs; they responded quickly to our questions and addressed any concerns. For the wedding weekend itself, banquet manager Kris Jacobson and her staff were in complete control, leaving no small detail forgotten. Our family and friends stayed in hotel rooms on the property, making for a fun, eventful, and easy weekend for all guests. Because we had an earlier wedding that ended around 4 p.m., we chose to enjoy a private dinner at the Inn later that night to celebrate our new marriage. P. S. Amazing cake!

I had my wedding at the Publick House last fall. They were amazing. They truly are professionals, they are so accommodating and cover all the bases in their meetings. The service from the wedding planners, to the chef, to the servers to the day of coordinator were all excellent. The food was delicious. They were wonderful to work with.

Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful! The staff and service could not have been anymore perfect. I've been apart of many weddings and have never had service this good. The staff was always right alongside the wedding partying getting them whatever they needed( food, drinks, handling any situations etc). The timeline was exactly how I wanted it, everything went smoothly and orderly. The food was delicious, many of our guests commented on that. They organized all of my decor exactly how I wanted it, also organized it all at the end of the day as well. We were very very impressed and happy with our entire wedding day!!

The Publick House and their entire team did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding. EVERYTHING was great - from the customer service, to the food, the cake, the décor and the price. I will forever say good things about the Publick House and encourage couples to consider them as a venue.

The staff Is wonderful. From the minute you look at the hall to your rehearsal dinner to your wedding. The food was excellent.
I also like it that I rented ties for the staff to match my colors. They enjoyed them too.

We were happy with every aspect of our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Publick House! They were extremely organized, helpful, and professional. Everything was low stress and enjoyable, just what a bride wants on her wedding day! We also had the pleasure of staying in a suite in the Chamberlain House, which was absolutely beautiful! 5 stars and would recommend the Publick House to anyone and everyone!

The publick house was amazing! My wedding was in the tent area and it was beautifully done. I also had 2 guest end up coming who had rsvp-ed no and they set up seats for them, added dinners, and even went out of their way to make them mason jar favors to match the ones I had for the other guest! I would absolutely use them again for another event and recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

So far they have made the wedding planning process so much easier than I was expecting. They are quick to answer any question you may have and help you with all of the many decisions to be made. The venue is gorgeous! I cannot wait for the wedding I know it will be perfect!

I am so glad we had our wedding here. I originally found this venue because of their excellent winter packages advertised online. They offer a great deal for weddings in January through March so we went with the last weekend of March and hoped for a spring feel. Throughout the planning process Cathy was very helpful and responsive by email.... There are lots of small decisions to make but they guide you through and are very organized and detail oriented. We had a small hiccup in that another couple booked the after party space that we thought we had priority to book... However they went above and beyond to find us another space in the chamberlain house that ended up being awesome for the after party.
We did the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner there which is when we met Kris Jacobson, the banquet manager and Ashley, the bridal assistant. They were both incredible! They went way above and beyond in every way to make sure the space looked beyond gorgeous and the day ran smoothly. The publick house does tons of weddings but they really cared about us and wanted to make sure we had an completey unforgettable day. I gasped when I saw Paige hall before the guests got inside. Kris had seen me earlier taking pictures of the baby chicks they had for Easter and going on about how much on loved them. She arranged a surprise for us to be able to hold some and take pictures with them. It made me so incredibly happy and I was touched. Kris is hilarious and has a wonderful personality. Ashley was fun to talk with and have me good advice for waking in my dress :)
I should mention the food was awesome and the cake was beautiful and delicious. The space is historic, warm and unique. I feel so lucky to have had such a great and hardworking staff that day and I just appreciate everything the publick house did to make our day unforgettable! I recommend them whole heartedly.

February 27th, 2016 was the best day of our lives and I owe so much of it to the Publick House Historic Inn. Louis and I knew we wanted a very classy wedding but wanted a homey feel and good food was extremely important, and we were able to get all of that at the Publick House. Right from the beginning, the staff in the sales office was very helpful. The tasting night is absolutely wonderful. Planning our wedding (in five months!) was so easy because we used all of the best vendors that the Publick House staff suggested such as Michele Bernard as our florist (she is a Goddess!) and Brian from Champagne Toast DJ's (also absolutely amazing). The Publick House has such a great relationship with their vendors so it made our day run so smoothly. Our day was so beautiful because of all the beautiful decor items the Publick House has to offer. Our ceremony was stunning (we payed the extra $250 to have the reception tables completely removed during our ceremony--SO WORTH IT! The space was stunning and very chapel-like). After our ceremony they transformed the room in an hour to the most beautiful reception space I've ever seen. I used these gorgeous while sequin table cloths that literally looked like snow and sparkled with all the white lights in Paige Hall. The room was beautiful and everyone loved how warm it felt. If you don't like typical wedding halls, you'll love Paige Hall! Chris was our onsite coordinator the day of the wedding (and for our rehearsal dinner which we also did there in Craft's Hall) and she was incredible. She even went out of her way to pick up a tray for our unity candle ceremony the night before our wedding! Danielle was my bridal assisant and she was so helpful the day of as well. The food came out hot and was delicious. We also rented the cottage for an afterparty & ordered pizzas from the kitchen--such a great ending to the wedding! Best venue ever!

The Publick House was the first venue that my fiance and I visited when we were looking for a location to get married. It was also the last one we visited! On the drive home after our site tour, we knew that the Publick House was the perfect place for our wedding. Aside of the site's natural charm and great location, the pricing for all of the services were very reasonable. It's an excellent location if you also need room blocks, rehearsal dinner options, and after parties. We had everything on property - rehearsal and dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, as well as renting a cottage for an after-party.
Lisa LaCoste, the wedding sales manager, was outstanding and very attentive to everything we needed before, during, and after the wedding. She was very easy to contact with any questions and made sure specific needs were met. We had guests, including myself, with food allergies and dietary restrictions and all needs were met perfectly. Her years of experience and friendly personality was one of things that made us decide to get married at the Publick House.
Anthony Scott was our on-site coordinator on our wedding day and I can't say enough wonderful things about him. His calm and friendly personality made the whole day feel stress-free. I didn't have to worry about anything that may have come up, because he took care of everything. He was easily accessible throughout the night, and made sure to check in with us regularly. If there were problems that arose that night, I had no idea! Our wedding day was amazing and a great portion of that success goes to Anthony.
Ashley was our bridal party server and she was so much fun! She took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. She was so friendly and her personality was great, she definitely deserves recognition for her outstanding service that night. I couldn't help but hug her at least once and thank her for making our day great.

Having our wedding at the Publick House was one of the best planning decisions we made for our October wedding. I can’t recommend them enough for event hosting. It was pouring on our wedding day - a monsoon of rain started just before the ceremony, which was supposed to be outside in the Meadow - and the Publick House staff moved quickly and instead we had a lovely ceremony under the tent. Special thanks to staff members Anthony and Ashley for all the help during the rain storm, they went above and beyond. They were even holding the train of my wedding dress up so it wouldn’t get wet! Our guests raved about the food, especially the bacon bar and the mushroom ravioli. Our wedding cake was from the Publick House bakery and was absolutely delicious with real buttercream. The tent is really beautiful; they have put up twinkle lights which just look absolutely gorgeous with the draped fabric of the tent ceiling. Having hotel rooms available for guests on the premises is also convenient as well as event rooms to host the rehearsal dinner the night before! It was also great to work with Lisa throughout the entire wedding planning process; she is patient, knowledgeable, and understanding and we never felt like we had to worry about a thing. :)

I am giving a 5.0 review to this venue mainly because of our wonderful banquet manager and the amazing staff we had for our wedding day rehearsal, ceremony and reception.
Our experience at the Publick House started pretty shaky, a staff member was very difficult to work with during the planning process. But then we met Kris, the banquet manager, and she was amazing, she got assigned to us on our last meeting and she was the best person for our wedding day. Super flexible, made our day go smoothly and was an overall treat to interact with. Because of Kris and her wonderful team, I can honestly recommend the Publick House as an amazing venue.
