My husband and I had Proof of the Pudding for our wedding catering and Darnell was FANTASTIC!! From the moment we sent an inquiry to Proof of the Pudding, Darnell had wonderful customer service and top notch professionalism. His approach immediately gave us confidence and was one of the reasons we booked with Proof of the Pudding. Our tasting with the team was excellent, by far the best of 4 tastings we had with potential caterers.

Darnell was wonderful on our wedding day but the staff that worked with our wedding seemed to be unenthusiastic. One bartender was unfriendly and our VIP server only checked on us twice. She also seemed inconvenienced and we couldn’t find her so our wedding planner would get drinks and water for us.

The POP food quality was WONDERFUL!! We had multiple friends and family members tell us that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. To this day, we are still reminiscing on how delicious the short rib was.

Proof of the Pudding catered my wedding recently. In a nutshell, they were PHEMONEMAL!! From the start, they were so friendly and responsive to all my questions. I worked with Chris Bazemore to coordinate the menu and she offered amazing suggestions and ideas. We had a few guests with severe food allergies and they were extremely accommodating. On the wedding day, they prompt and ready to go! While it was a busy day, everyone on the Proof team moved with seamless agility. My wedding was unbelievably memorable and Proof had a huge hand in that. I cannot say thank you enough for their organization, their professionalism, and their very kind nature. Honestly, if you are getting married...only use vendors that use Proof of the Pudding.

Proof of the Pudding was a recommended vendor by our venue. They were also highly recommended by friends and family. We were not disappointed!

Janice and her team provided white glove service from menu design, to a tasting at their wonderful office to implementation and service at the wedding.

We were pleased with every selection and guests really enjoyed the dinner. Some even said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. The service staff was second to none and helped pull off the day of with no issues whatsoever.

We would highly recommend Proof of the Pudding for anyone seeking a wedding caterer.

Proof of the Pudding helped us create a menu that would accommodate all our guests, from carnivores to vegans! Everyone was raving about how incredible the food was, and it was truly the best food I have ever had at a wedding in my life. I was so impressed by the service and quality of the products. There was also plenty of food for people to get seconds or thirds if they pleased, which was very important to us - we did not want anyone to feel restricted in the amount of food they received. 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to find a caterer.

The wedding was very stressful for many reasons as it happened right before places started shutting down for covid. Proof of the Pudding was one of the few things that pulled through and exceeded our expectations during this stressful time. We ended up paying for ~50 more people than guests in attendance (completely not their fault), and I don't even feel bad about it because they did everything they could to work with us and adjusted the final number just a week before the event. Wendy also coordinated last-minute precautions as covid was becoming more of an issue that made us and our guests feel safer.
Wendy is the type of person any business would want in their customer service department. Very grateful for her! Especially since we were planning the wedding while out-of-state and had a restrictive schedule. She genuinely wants to make every event special. The build-your-own-buffet + pre-purchased drink tickets worked perfectly for our day.
Being perfectly honest though, the 5-stars is primarily for the customer service, not the food (what we ended up getting was mediocre). If I could choose my caterer again, it would still be them.

The only problem we had was that the food was so good that none of our guests were hungry for cake later! I highly recommend doing their buffet option, it's around the same price and everyone can get as much or as little as they want. The pecan crusted chicken and mac and cheese were the crowd favorites! Also my husband is a picky eater and they were very flexible and made sure he was happy!

The food was incredible! All the guests loved it, i had several come up to me who wished they had used Proof of the Pudding. I just wish I’d had leftovers to take home! We had such a verity or food to choose from at our wedding. I would absolutely recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!!

We used Proof of the Pudding to cater our wedding party at the Urban Tree Cidery on 4/1/17 and they did an outstanding job! We had never used them before and were a little overwhelmed by all the choices/options, etc. But, they helped us create/clarify our vision with the tasting, answering questions and adding/subtracting, etc. Then, they met with us at the UTC and they were very efficient yet creative with us and mapped out every detail from where to put the stations, decor, colors, linens, tables, etc.. they have anything you need and have so much experience that it seemed so easy. Plus, they clearly have a great relationship with UTC and are a great team with them! The night of our party was AWESOME! And the staff was even better than the food if that's possible! They took great care of our guests and us and even went above and beyond, sending us home with a cooler packed with food and surprise gifts too! We would definitely use them again and again!!

Barbara from Proof of the Pudding was extremely awesome to work with! We loved everything from our tasting to the picnic basket they gave us after the wedding. The food was amazing. We couldn't decide on an entree, so they let us give everyone half of each. They loved it! The appetizers were so good and unique. We also had them do passed milk and cookies. This was the biggest hit with our guests! On top of all of that fabulous service, they sent us off with a cooler of a little bit of everything from the night. Amazing! I would choose them over and over again.
