Magical wedding catered by Proof of the Pudding
Proof of the Pudding catered my wedding recently. In a nutshell, they were PHEMONEMAL!! From the start, they were so friendly and responsive to all my questions. I worked with Chris Bazemore to coordinate the menu and she offered amazing suggestions and ideas. We had a few guests with severe food allergies and they were extremely accommodating. On the wedding day, they prompt and ready to go! While it was a busy day, everyone on the Proof team moved with seamless agility. My wedding was unbelievably memorable and Proof had a huge hand in that. I cannot say thank you enough for their organization, their professionalism, and their very kind nature. Barbara from Proof of the Pudding was extremely awesome to work with! We loved everything from our tasting to the picnic basket they gave us after the wedding. The food was amazing. We couldn't decide on an entree, so they let us give everyone half of each. They loved it! The appetizers were so good and unique. We also had them do passed milk and cookies. This was the biggest hit with our guests! On top of all of that fabulous service, they sent us off with a cooler of a little bit of everything from the night. Amazing! Words cannot express how truly grateful I am to Wendy and her team at POP for making our formal wedding event a success ! They were epic in the services that they provided and everyone was so impressed with the seated dinner and menu. Kudos to the chef for tailoring the menu to the palate of the bride and groom's preferences . I really appreciate the flexibility of the staff when things didn't go as they were supposed to (unexpected guests disrupted the seating and thus food allotments) however the staff pivoted and smoothed out any disruptions with the help of our coordinator without bringing it back to us. I had my ceremony and reception at Magnolia hall in Piedmont Park, Atlanta. Whitney was with me from the first email to the day after, assuring that everything that went well. I could have not been more pleased with our choice. I am not good at planning, decision making, timeliness, etc. I initially chose Proof due to the flexibility and variety of menu options. I was able to select the items and setting of stations which fit my vision of a relaxed Sunday in the park, daytime reception.
With me working in fine dining and working weddings in the past, I had enough experience to tell that Proof was top notch, experienced, professional, flexible, and friendly. With me working in fine dining and working weddings in the past, I had enough experience to tell that Proof was top notch, experienced, professional, flexible, and friendly. I truly had the immediate confidence that all concerns and details could be trusted in their hands. The catering proposal included a tasting of the menu items of our choice. The chef explained the items in detail as our server meticulously catered to our every need. Whitney joined us and added excellent suggestions along the way.
The responses from our guests were above and beyond the typical 'everything was great.' The staff made sure we ate, and set us up with our own table (which we forgot to plan, as we did not wish to have a sit-down meal with place settings). To-go boxes filled with our favorite items were packed with care, along with an additional insulated bag stocked with cheeses, wine, crackers, etc. That was a lovely surprise!
If you are looking to enjoy your wedding and not be nagged through-out your planning and reception by various concerns, questions, and details, you will be pleased with choosing Proof of the Pudding. I only compared estimates from a couple vendors, and was using the suggested vendors from Piedmont Park's list. Proof came in on the lower price range and provided value above and beyond our expectations. Many caterers also charge a cake cutting fee, ranging from $2-$4 per slice. This was not the case with Proof, they included cake cutting, AND added complimentary chocolate covered strawberries to each plate.
It was well worth every penny to have such qualified and experienced caterers. Words cannot express how well they exceeded our expectations. -

Fantastic food!
Proof of the Pudding catered our wedding and we highly recommend them! The food was delicious, by far the best among a few caterers that we tried. Amazing Service and Food
Proof of the Pudding was a recommended vendor by our venue. They were also highly recommended by friends and family. We were not disappointed!
Janice and her team provided white glove service from menu design, to a tasting at their wonderful office to implementation and service at the wedding.
We were pleased with every selection and guests really enjoyed the dinner. Some even said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. The service staff was second to none and helped pull off the day of with no issues whatsoever.
We would highly recommend Proof of the Pudding for anyone seeking a wedding caterer.

Best Wedding Food EVER!!!!
Proof of the Pudding helped us create a menu that would accommodate all our guests, from carnivores to vegans! Everyone was raving about how incredible the food was, and it was truly the best food I have ever had at a wedding in my life. I was so impressed by the service and quality of the products. There was also plenty of food for people to get seconds or thirds if they pleased, which was very important to us - we did not want anyone to feel restricted in the amount of food they received. 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to find a caterer.Proof of the Pudding helped us create a menu that would accommodate all our guests, from carnivores to vegans! Super accommodating
The wedding was very stressful for many reasons as it happened right before places started shutting down for covid. Proof of the Pudding was one of the few things that pulled through and exceeded our expectations during this stressful time. We ended up paying for ~50 more people than guests in attendance (completely not their fault), and I don't even feel bad about it because they did everything they could to work with us and adjusted the final number just a week before the event. Wendy also coordinated last-minute precautions as covid was becoming more of an issue that made us and our guests feel safer.

Wendy is the type of person any business would want in their customer service department. Very grateful for her! Especially since we were planning the wedding while out-of-state and had a restrictive schedule. She genuinely wants to make every event special. The build-your-own-buffet + pre-purchased drink tickets worked perfectly for our day.
Being perfectly honest though, the 5-stars is primarily for the customer service, not the food (what we ended up getting was mediocre). If I could choose my caterer again, it would still be them. -

Too delicious!
The only problem we had was that the food was so good that none of our guests were hungry for cake later! I highly recommend doing their buffet option, it's around the same price and everyone can get as much or as little as they want. The pecan crusted chicken and mac and cheese were the crowd favorites! The food was incredible! All the guests loved it, i had several come up to me who wished they had used Proof of the Pudding. I just wish I’d had leftovers to take home! We had such a verity or food to choose from at our wedding. I would absolutely recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!!The food was incredible! We used Proof of the Pudding to cater our wedding party at the Urban Tree Cidery on 4/1/17 and they did an outstanding job! We had never used them before and were a little overwhelmed by all the choices/options, etc. But, they helped us create/clarify our vision with the tasting, answering questions and adding/subtracting, etc. Then, they met with us at the UTC and they were very efficient yet creative with us and mapped out every detail from where to put the stations, decor, colors, linens, tables, etc.. they have anything you need and have so much experience that it seemed so easy. Plus, they clearly have a great relationship with UTC and are a great team with them!...We used Proof of the Pudding to cater our wedding party at the Urban Tree Cidery on 4/1/17 and they did an outstanding job! After much thought and several tastings and most of the well-known catering companies in the Atlanta area, we settled on having Proof cater our wedding. I am so glad we did. The food was superb, the staff took good care of us, and the customer service on the back end and following the wedding was great as well. We worked closely with Barbara leading up to the event, and she patiently coordinated all my constant questions and edits to the menu (thank you, Barbara!). We had a really great, and free, I might add, private tasting before committing to finally sign our contract with Proof. They fed us a...There are not enough good things to say about Proof. After much thought and several tastings and most of the well-known catering companies in the Atlanta area, we settled on having Proof cater our wedding. I am so glad we did. The food was superb, the staff took good care of us, and the customer service on the back end and following the wedding was great as well. Money well spent. So glad we went with Proof and not another caterer! -

Ike Lee and the staff at proof of the pudding made our Wedding Renewal for June 14, 2014 a memorable event at the Douglasville conference center ask for (Jennifer) she is awesome. Ike Lee made sure that my husband and I received Great service and awesome food. Ike made sure that we were satisfied from the start to the finish. The servers were very nice they even help my wedding coordinator set up the room when she needed help. I would like to thank Ike Lee and the proof of the pudding staff for awesome service. Candice at Proof of the Pudding was truly AMAZING. She went above and beyond any and all expectations we could have had. She truly cares about her brides. We really got to know Candice throughout our time with her and would recommend to her to anyone who is getting married - she is fun, flexible, and really did so much to make our wedding day perfect! Proof of the Pudding is the contracted vendor at Hudgens Center for the Arts and the food was great. The presentation was lovely that I did not even want to touch my plate. Candice is the catering manager for them at that location and she was kind enough to box up some food for my husband and I after we left. She did an amazing job. All of my guests keep talking about how great the food was at my daughter's wedding. Candice and the staff were great to work with. Candice was always available for questions and was easy to work with when I needed to make any changes.
