I can't thank John from Profound Entertainment enough for doing such a fabulous job at our reception. John DJ'ed a wedding I attended years ago and I always remembered how much fun I had on the dance floor. When I got engaged a few years later, he was the only DJ I considered. He was such a natural at MCing and guided the evening along so effortlessly, which made me feel so at-ease during the reception. He incorporated all of my song requests but honestly the songs he picked were way better than my own! So many unexpected mashups that kept the guests excited and on their toes all night. I lost count of how many people commented on how much they loved the music! One of my favorite parts of my wedding day was when all the guests chanted "one more song" at the end of the night and didn't want to leave. To me that seems like a pretty clear indication of a great party, and I owe that to our incredible DJ!

John and profound did an excellent job from start to finish. We were in good hands. Great MC and great music selection.

Working with John was a pleasure! His experience in the bar scene plus events/weddings was the perfect match for us. He was great to work with and was very responsive and informative throughout the whole process. He was extremely flexible and receptive to our music wants and needs for the big day! He was able to read the crowd really well and kept everyone dancing. We also got the photo booth that was so worth it! Quick turnaround with photos as well. He worked with our venue and kept us sane with getting our bridal party and family ready for entrances, speeches, and dances. You won't regret working with John :)

I hired John to DJ my wedding last week and he was a pleasure to work with. He touched base a few weeks before the event to nail down any details and questions that we had. After we explained what we were going for, he laid out his strategy for how he thought would be the most successful execution of our vision. After that phone call, we knew for sure we hired the right person for the job.

On the day of the event, we made some on-the-fly scheduling changes and John was sure to double-check those adjustments with my wife and myself directly before making any announcements to our guests. John kept us dancing all night long and I couldn't be happier with the quality of service that John provided. He certainly helped make our wedding day extra special!

My wife and I were very stressed about various parts of our wedding. We have been to weddings that had fine DJs and ones with amazing ones, we can confidently say John was top tier (no bias at all obviously). When we had our first call with John, we could tell we liked him and he was giving us the vibe that matched what we were looking for. He explained his thorough experiences with DJ-ing in clubs and the length of time he has been in this industry, and it was impressive. After that when we tried to get a better idea of what we were looking for when it got closer to the wedding, my wife and I were extremely vague. We only gave him a few must-haves, and kinda made him figure it out. He was incredible. We gave a little direction for the music at the dinner... he knocked it out of the park. The music started out hot on the dance floor. There was a lull in the night as it happens sometimes, and he turned it up and the party got going again.

He made an extremely stressful part of the wedding not bad at all. I could not be more complementary of John. I would reccomend him to anyone. Extremely professional. Well worth the money

John was INCREDIBLE! He was great to work with leading up to the wedding; he made the process very easy with his organizing and recommendations when needed. On the wedding day, he kept the day running smoothly with his calm demeanor, thoughtful touches, quick thinking, and adaptability. During the reception, he read the crowd perfectly to the point where even the non-dancers were giving it their all on the dance floor! We’ve had so many guests tell us how great he was and much fun they had - we honestly couldn’t have asked for any more. We highly recommend him!

Profound entertainment was absolutely amazing! John was extremely responsive, fun, and professional. He really kept the entire flow of the wedding moving perfectly, even when we had major last minute changes. He followed all of our unusual requests and really made our wedding the perfect day. Perfect music to keep everybody on the dance floor all night! Also, the photo booth was a huge hit. Fun props, full size photo copies, and access to alllll the photos for after the wedding. I don’t have enough good things to say about this company! Definitely 10/10 recommend them to anybody looking for a DJ!

I have been meaning to write this review for so long but by far the thing our wedding gets complimented on the most is how amazing our DJ John was! It was a long NYE reception but everyone was on the dance floor the entire time because of amazing playlist with completely seamless transitions. I also appreciated that out of all the vendors I worked with he was one that just seemed to get how stressful planning a wedding is and was super helpful, professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. I'm so excited that my brother booked him for his wedding for next year - now I just know it's going to be such a fun reception! Thanks again!!

My husband found John on a different site and I found him on Wedding Wire. We decided it was a sign so we reached out and set up a meeting with him. He was fun to chat with - it didn’t feel like business; we were just talking about music and shared some good laughs. We knew he was the DJ for us.

We had some lesser known song requests and he was able to find all of them. We went with DJ’s choice for the cocktail hour, dinner and most of the reception. He talked over with us what he had in mind ahead of time and it all went smoothly. He surely got the party going and guests danced until the end of the night! It was a great party and he was a terrific emcee and DJ!
