About
New to WeddingWire, NOT to Wedding Flowers!!
So check this out, back in 2015 two starving servers, working at a Hard Rock Cafe met and instantly hit it off. One thing led to another and BOOM, they suddenly gave up slinging burgers and overpriced cocktails to dive HEAD FIRST into flower artistry. (We’ll save that epic love story for another day. You’ve got your own story to tell.Why else would you be here?!)
Two things were made VERY clear within their first year of developing their floral craft.
1.) Their SASS (and the sass their faces made when their mouths weren’t moving) wasn’t for everyone!
&
2.) Basic and cookie cutter was REALLY, EFFING, BORING!
After training in Arizona under one of the oldest wedding florist in town, (we literally mean OLDEST… he was like 145 or something when we met him) they popped up to New York for a year and learned a whole new way of wedding and event floral production. This is around the time baby number one showed up and their love for FUNKY designs slammed into the picture.
Alas, the snow was not for these two sun babies and moving back to Florida, where they were born and raised made the most sense. After a handful of years (and two more tiny humans) working under a couple of old school florist that preferred “CLASSIC over MODERN”, that same burger slinging duo threw their hands up and took a leap into the unknown and Pretties & Beauties was born.
{Why Pretties & Beauties? Well, the words “Good Morning Beautiful” where forever the first thing he said to her. And she always responded with “Hi Pretty.” - What the heck else would they have called it?! }
If you’ve read this far down the page, you’re probably wondering why on earth you’d want to work with a “new” company that MAY be keeping things a little TOO real… To be honest, that’s a fair question. We think the better question is, do YOU really want to work with the “older” companies that look at their clients like numbers, send you a little price sheet with pre-made packages, give you seriously robotic responses and MAJOR difficulty explaining why the most affordable option is “Seasonal” and even then they are asking you to sell a kidney to pay for your flowers??…. Because if that is cool with you, y’all go for it! Seriously. It’s only the biggest day of your life and basic is safe, right?
BUT if you’re looking for trendy designs, no filter having, young-(ish) florists who can totally do the basic/safe designs but also the modern funk with a serious Latin flair, then STOP scrolling! End your search now because P&B Florals is here. We are NOT like the rest and won’t even bother pretending to be. (FACT!)
What do you have to lose? Give us a shout. Hit the ‘Gram. Shoot a text. Send an owl. Whatever! Just get in touch with us if you aren’t afraid of being different and adding THE REAL YOU, to YOUR big day.
Thanks for sliding through babes! Cannot wait to catch your wedding vibe!
