My husband and I waited a few months after the wedding to go on our honeymoon. We got married before Christmas in December and left for Playa Del Carmen at the end of February. The timing was perfect! Lori was great to work with from the start. We weren’t 100% certain where we wanted to go and what would work with our budget. She gave us plenty of well documented options and we worked through the photos and descriptions of each until we found the right resort for us. Based on our criteria, Lori also helped narrow down the options when we weren’t sure which would be best for us. I know that Lori takes the time to visit each property she recommends. So her recommendations come from experience.
She found us an easy, no-connection flight. We arrived with a minimum of hassle and in great spirits. We had a slight hiccup at check-in, but Lori corrected the problem from afar and we went about our business. BWT – it was not Lori’s hiccup, it was on the part of the hotel’s sales department. But the issue was quickly resolved and we didn’t have to deal with it. And that is worth its weight in gold!
We had a blast the entire honeymoon and not a care in the world. The service at the resort was topnotch and the amenities were great. We are ready to go back as soon as possible. It would not have been possible without the guidance from Lori. I HIGHLY recommend her services!

Lori is amazing at what she does! We went to Lori a year ago to plan a trip of a lifetime to Italy and it was so much more then that. So when it came to planning our honeymoon we had no doubt on who we would use. She sends out an extensive questionaire to get to know your personality and really uses it to find the perfect vacation.

My husband took the reigns of attempting to plan the initial honeymoon and Lori kept him on track following up with him when he needed a little nudging! She sent us a list of activites she thought we would be interested in and offered advise on which hotels suited our requirements. There were so many choices which we loved. If we had a question she would always find the answer for us.

She met with me a week before we left to hand over all the travel documents and went through all the details on who to talk to, to confirm our reservations while there and how to reach someone if we ran into a problem. She even walked me through transfering planes at an airport, something I have never done.

The trip to Moorea and Bora Bora was another trip of a lifetime to add to the books and we know that we couldn't have had that experience without Lori. My husband swears he is always going to use her to book our future vacations! Thank you Lori!!!!!!

We had a terrible experience with Power Trips for our honey moon. We paid over $500 a night for a resort recommended by Power Trips for what was ultimately very low quality and dirty hotel, in an unsafe area (they had to take our photos for security reasons and our balconies would not unlock), and it had DIY laundry (gross...). Needless to say, we switched hotels as soon as we got there. To Lori's credit, she did get our money back but it was an effort on our end. The situation was made worse by the fact that we could not get in touch with Lori for a week prior to our honeymoon, or during the first few days of our trip. We also paid in advance for a shuttle from the airport to our hotel and the company did not have us registered. I can not recommend this company. You don't pay anything to use her, so you definitely pay for what you get. We won't make this mistake again!
