We got married 4/26/25 at the Power Plant! We had a cocktail style wedding with 130 people. It was the perfect size. I loved working with Chris - she was beyond helpful with all of my questions, and giving me fantastic suggestions for caterers / photographers / timelines etc. She checked in regularly without my even asking! Every vendor that I worked with (even ones I didn't find thru Chris) had nothing but good things to share about the venue. I had a shorter timeline leading up to the wedding (

I couldn’t imagine having two people better than Chris and Jim nor imagine a better venue than Power Plant Productions for our wedding. Chris had such a wonderful sense of composure and poise on our initial call being able to answer every question and concern we had. Once we booked, the level of communication and attentiveness never dropped – whether it was questions about décor, floor plans, or seating charts.

Chris and Jim also pointed us in the direction of fantastic vendors who worked tirelessly both through the planning process and on the day of the event. They truly only work with the best of the best.

As for the space itself, Power Plant is so gorgeous and unique giving a grandiose scale with the smoke stack at its heart without losing the intimate setting that we were looking for with our closest family and friends.
We had check ins as we brought in décor, flowers, etc but never felt overbearing (kind of like you want your waiters to be at a restaurant). Pick up following the event was just as easy and allowed us to move at our own pace once we had our stuff together.

All in All, if you want a venue to stun your guests (complimentary) with customer service to ease all concerns about the big day, look no further than Power Plant Productions.

Power Plant Productions was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. Chris and Jim were so helpful. Always available to answer questions and guide us along the wedding planning process. The wedding day was beautiful. Lights, candles, plants and a really cool seating area. I can't say enough positive things about Power Plant!

Power Plant was the perfect place for our wedding, and we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out in the space! We really wanted a modern, open, and airy location that was in the city for our big day, and as soon as we toured Power Plant we knew it was the perfect spot. Not only was the whole facility beautiful, but the owners Chris and Jim were amazing to work with. Chris provided so much direction and insight on all of the wedding related questions we had during the planning process, and she even allowed us to visit the venue several times with our family so everyone could see the space in person before the wedding. We also loved how much attention our event received, and the fact the venue only hosts one wedding per weekend. This made our event feel so much more special and prioritized. Chris and the Power Plant team really made the whole process run so much smoother, and all of our vendors worked seamlessly with their team.

Our wedding day was perfect and the whole venue looked more amazing than we could have imagined when it was all pulled together, with flowers, décor, and lights. Our vision fully came to life and all of our friends, family, and wedding guests loved the space as well. We highly recommend Power Plant as a place that is completely customizable to whatever you are envisioning for your big day, and an added bonus is having such experienced, responsive owners like Chris and Jim that are there for you through out the whole process.

We were over the moon about our wedding at Power Plant! The venue is absolutely stunning - we barely needed to decorate with all of the lighting and curtains already in the space. The smokestack makes for an incredible centerpiece and we were able to highlight it with our projected slideshow set up by the venue. Chris and Jim, the owners, and Tommi, the studio manager, are fantastic to work with, very responsive and flexible. The location is convenient in the city although be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to get in and out - there is no elevator. Could not recommend more highly, you will receive so many compliments from your guests!

We could not have selected a more perfect location to host our wedding ceremony and reception last month. The first time we stepped into the Power Plant, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. A perfect blank canvas, the space is airy, intimate, and one-of-a-kind. Chris and her husband, Jim, did an amazing job transforming the former chocolate factory into the event and studio space that it is today. We loved that it is a family-owned business, not some large-event conglomerate. We felt cared for and heard every step of the way. Chris and her team are kind, communicative, and anticipated our every need. Thank you for helping to make our day the best day.

We are so happy that we decided to have our wedding at Power Plant Productions. Jim & Chris were so incredible through our whole wedding experience and we could not have asked for any more from them. The venue was perfect for our big day and provided a great atmosphere. They were really accommodating in making things personal to us whilst also leading us when we needed advice and suggestions.

Power Plant was the location of my wedding in April 2023 and I could not recommend it enough! It was the only venue we saw because I knew immediately it was where I wanted to get married. The location is perfect in the hole in the heart of old city, and easily walkable to many restaurants and hotels. The space itself is gorgeous! The high ceilings, included drapes and string lights, allow you to dress up the space as little or as much as you like. We received endless compliments on the uniqueness of the space the entire night from our guests. The staff was also extremely kind and accommodating. They provided excellent tips along the way, and were easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this space to any couple looking for a unique venue in the heart of the city!

My husband and I were married at Power Plant on 10/01/22 with a wedding of about 90 guests. Power Plant helped us make the day exactly how we pictured. The venue itself is unique and beautiful, and its location in Old City was perfect for our guests traveling to Philly from out of town. We had an open canvas for our decor (although you'll really only need minimal since the building is already so pretty!), and Chris and her team were very helpful throughout the whole planning process and were on top of everything the day of. This gave us the fun of a DIY venue without any of the DIY stress, which made it easy for us to be present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day.

We had our wedding last weekend and we are still in awe of how perfect everything turned out. Chris and the staff were there for our every need and were instrumental in turning our vision into reality. The relationship they have with their vendors make your wedding day go as easy as you wish. The Power Plant is the perfect place for a wedding and we can't wait to attend one ourselves.
