Porchlight Photography was founded on romance. The name "Porchlight Photography" came from the notion of the affection behind leaving the porchlight on for someone you love to light their way back through the night. As both hopeless romantics and photography enthusiasts, our friends started asking Brian and I to photograph their weddings. Naturally, we could not pass up the opportunities to photograph these joyous moments. We then chose to make a joint venture and founded Porchlight Photography.

Brian and I met at Emerson College as sophomores. We connected with one another in the darkroom, spending countless hours pouring over our prints. We also went out on what we called "photo adventures" where we went out in Boston to find and create celluloid moments. It was our partnership during our years at Emerson that tightened our working partnership.
