Melissa and her crew were not only a joy to work with but made every member of my family and bridal party feel and look amazing. Its rare for an entire group of opinionated women to all love how they look both hair and make up - but Pop of color succeeded. I can't recommend them enough. They were open to feedback, trustworthy with recommendations and really listened to what each woman wanted. They were kind, fun, flexible, and very professional!

We had Savannah as our hairstylist, and she did a fantastic job! She was so friendly and all of our hairstyles looked perfect throughout the wedding, even after a rainy, humid afternoon and lots of dancing. I asked for a messy updo with my flower crown and felt beautiful with the results. I was originally planning to do my own hair and I am so glad that we ended up having Savannah there.

I also really appreciated Melissa & Pop of Color's flexibility. I initially had some difficulty getting in contact with Melissa over email, but once I called her, she was extremely helpful in helping me make a plan and schedule a hairstylist for 7 people just one month before my wedding.

I had Pop of Color do my hair and make up for my wedding and they crushed it! None of my bridal party wears much make up, and Melissa did such a great job making it look flawless and feel comfortable. Savannah did our hair and was able to replicate what everyone was looking for. Hair and make up held up all night too!

These ladies are AMAZING! From my trial to the actual wedding day, they were so sweet and so fun to be around. They absolutely crushed me and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. Everything looked and felt so beautiful. We had Melissa and Elizabeth on makeup and Haley and Manning on hair.

These girls were absolutely incredible. My makeup and hair was beautiful. I had numerous last minute girls that needed hair and makeup and they were completely accommodating and patient with my gaggle of girls. Absolutely loved them and have never felt so beautiful. They made my special day so much easier coming to me.

I hire Elizabeth for all my hair dos for any event. She is hands down the best and I've hired a lot of hair stylists in my day. I always get so many compliments and walk out feeling I got more than I asked for. Whether it's a wedding, Halloween, derby party, Oktoberfest, she's got you! I would definitely consider even flying Elizabeth out with you !

I cannot say enough great things about the Pop of Color team. I had very little idea of how I wanted my makeup because I usually do not wear any, but Melissa truly created a look that was “me” but just the bridal version. She also helped my mom and mother in law feel so confident the day of the wedding. And Elizabeth was phenomenal with hair. She listened to all of our ideas and quickly replicated the all looks we were envisioning. I highly recommend this team for a morning of pampering before the big day!

Melissa and Yulia were the absolute dream team for doing our makeup and hair for my wedding day! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pop of Color and how amazing they were to work with for my wedding! Melissa, who is the owner of the company, is absolutely fabulous and is so on top of everything that she has going on! From the minute I spoke with her on the phone about my vision for my wedding hair and makeup, I knew she would do an amazing job! Melissa recommended that Yulia do my hair for the wedding and she do my makeup. To have the owner of the company do your makeup was the best feeling in the world and I trusted she would do the best job! They also came highly recommended by our photography team, Jenny and Joe, for staying on time and getting everything done efficiently the day of the wedding! My mom and I did a trial run with Melissa and Yulia a few months prior to my wedding, which I would recommend to everyone! It was so nice getting to meet both of them ahead of our wedding day and also getting to do a trial run of both hair and makeup so then we had all the kinks worked out before the wedding day, and my hair and makeup looked even better the second time around they did it on the wedding day! They were able to complete my bridal hair and makeup, my mom’s hair and makeup, and my other 6 bridesmaids hair and makeup in less than 7 hours which is absolutely amazing! Everyone’s hair held the entire night, never fell out or was out of place, and no one’s makeup came off or ran off their face the entire night! To say this was the best experience was an understatement! Melissa and Yulia are not only amazing at their jobs, but also amazing people that we feel so fortunate to know now and hopefully will run into again in the future for other events in our lives! My daughter and I, along with her bridal party, had Melissa do our makeup and Elizabeth do our hair. We could not have picked any other team that could have done a better job. They both were excellent. They asked us what we wanted and delivered it to perfection. They made us all look gorgeous. Not only that, but our makeup and hair looked fantastic after a long day and a lot of partying. We had such a fun time with them as we were all getting ready for the big day. Danielle and Elizabeth created lovely unique hair for the bridal party. Each bridesmaid as well as bride and mother of the bride had general requests and the stylists were able to design beautiful creations based on feedback from the women. They worked efficiently to finish everyone on time.
Elizabeth H. arrived extra early as her colleague tested positive for Covid and couldn’t attend. Elizabeth was unflappable as she moved through the group applying makeup. She took care to highlight everyone’s features without a heavy hand. The result was a natural look that was beautiful in pictures. Highly recommend this group for your special event.
