Em and Monica were a welcome addition to our wedding day. Every one of our guests who interacted with them commented on how friendly they were, and the photos that they captured were absolutely stunning. Em and Steve were absolutely fantastic to work with! We don't love formal, pose-y photos, but we survived a large photo check list and Em and Steve were able to get the kiddos to smile and cooperate too (no small task). They took beautiful photos throughout the first look, ceremony, and reception. The most awe-striking photo ever took place after our reception when we went to the top of a hill and got a photo with the stars and milky way in the background. It is absolutely stunning! Em had a handy kit of emergency supplies including scissors and thread- she helped me bustle my bustle a little higher to not get too much mud on my dress. They were truly wonderful to work with from an initial interview, through the planning process, our big day, and after! They're very responsive in communication, helpful with advice, and super talented photographers who really feel like part of your friends and family at your wedding and don't ever make anything forced or awkward. They rock!

We could not have been happier with our partnership with Emily and Steve. We were firstly provided with their contact through our venue, as they were an approved and highly recommended vendor by other brides. Emily and Steve have the most brilliant energy, and are incredibly organized. They gave us all thorough direction- capturing both posed family portraits and candid active shots. We hired them firstly for our engagement photos and fell in love with their approach. They were a critical part in making our day so special- keeping everyone on time and engaged. With time being of the essence, having a photographer that is direct and follows the timeline is super important. We had no doubt Emily and Steve would do just that, but they even exceeded our expectations. They captured the most beautiful moments between my husband and I as well as with our families. In a word, Em and Steve are FANTASTIC. I can't say enough good things about working with them. The #1 thing we wanted from our photos was to capture the feeling of our wedding and the emotions of our guests (and us too, of course). Em and Steve nailed it - when I look back at our photos I feel like I am stepping back into the day am able to relive the joy that just radiates from the photos. The photos are editorial quality and look like they are from a professional magazine shoot. The Pogos are truly artists. They are also so much fun to work with - completely prepared, professional, light-hearted, and so easy to be around. Our families absolutely loved them day-of (we got married 7 months ago and my dad is still raving about them) and we were all blown away by the final photos. I have three younger sisters and all have said the Pogos will be among the first they call when its time to plan their own weddings. Look no further - it doesn't get any better than the Pogos.

We’ve been using the Pogos now for four years to capture our family memories, including our wedding and the birth of our son. I am eternally grateful for the beautiful ways in which they capture moments to be cherished forever. Their pictures aren’t over-edited or posed, just genuine and stunning. They also don't spend all day taking posed portraits because they want you to actually enjoy your own reception! We were torn about doing a "first look," but after talking to them went for it and are thrilled with the results. Your wedding day can be so tense! So much planning (and money) has gone into this one event. But from the moment you sit down with Emily and Steve beforehand to the day of, the photography is the one thing you won't have to give a second thought (until it's all over and you're reviewing those breathtaking photos). Steve and Emily are the perfect combination of professionals who manage to make everyone genuinely smile. They stealthily sneak in for those candid shots and get all the formal ones you didn't even think of. They get it all and I cannot say enough about what an amazing team they truly are!

More than just photographers, we were thrilled to have Em & Steve at our wedding. They were super friendly and fun to have around. Em even sewed up my dress with her emergency pack, which she had in her fanny pack, when my bustle wasn't staying up!

When we first started planning our wedding a friend gave us great advice to find a photographer that you actually like and enjoy being around because you end up spending your entire wedding day with your photographer. It was true! But aside from being a great, funny and fun-loving couple, The Pogos are amongst the best photographers you could hire to capture your wedding day. I’ve hired photographers before for work projects (nyc fashion photographers) and was blown away with the Pogos talent, equipment and work.

As part of our photography package we also included an “engagement session”, which was great as it gave us a chance to get to know Emily and Steve prior to our wedding day and get some practice in front of their cameras. It felt like just a fun day hanging out with friends in the park. Our photo session was under 2 hours and I was very impressed with how many great shots they got in that short amount of time. I was expecting maybe a dozen or so “good ones”, but ended up with about 100 gorgeous shots! That’s incredible for such a short amount of shooting time. I can only imagine how many beautiful shots we’ll be getting from a full wedding day’s time to work with.

At our rehearsal dinner our guests got to know the Pogos as well and many commented on how fun and entertaining they were. On our wedding day, the Pogos were there taking charge during the formal photos and casually blended in with the party during the reception. I am confident they didn’t miss a beat capturing every moment!

Em and Steve saved the day when our original photographer backed out a week before. We were lucky enough that they were available on our day. Not only did we find the best photographers, but we made new friends. Em and Steve made us feel comfortable every step of the way, even though it was at the last minute. It took very little time for them to understand exactly what type of reception we were having and what kind of photos we were looking for. Their level of professionalism is amazing and their dedication to the work is fantastic. Em and Steve will do almost anything to get the perfect shot!
