We seriously do not have enough praise to say about Aimee with Please Don't Blink Photography!!! We did an engagement session with her at Shenandoah National Park (we went on a hike and everything!!!) and she photographed our wedding as well!!
First, the engagement session: We had never been photographed before and Aimee made it feel sooo easy and natural!! She made it so much fun and relaxing and it was truly an adventure. Not to mention the photos were absolutely gorgeous and perfect and truly captured the moment and adventure!!
Our wedding: Aimee was the star of the show!!! Aimee made it so easy for my husband and me just to be ourselves from start to finish, and captured the most beautiful moments. And we had so much fun and laughter while we were doing it! Aimee was so relaxed yet knew exactly what to do at every moment and got it done!! I think she got a photo of quite literally every single person we had at our wedding!

Aimee was the very first vendor that my husband and I hired, and she was awesome to work with from start to finish! We got so many compliments on our engagement photos, and we've already gotten so many additional compliments and inquiries from family and friends about the sneak peaks from our wedding. We loved that she was down for some of our crazier ideas; photos on a parking garage, immediately leaving the ceremony for a nursing home, she was excited to make it happen. On our wedding day, it rained from start to finish but she came completely prepared. When we weren't sure about posing, she encouraged us to just act natural and she would do the rest; she delivered every time. She also captured some of the best moments of our wedding in the best way, including the first look with my parents, and the moment my husband ripped his pants on the dance floor... Aimee captured it all and she was so kind and fun the whole time!

When it comes to photographers, Aimee was second to none. I could not recommend her more - from our engagement shoot to the wedding day and all the communication in between she was terrific! She had great ideas for the exact vibe I wanted for our engagement shoot and the photos turned out exactly how I imagined, and we had all the photos shortly after the shoot! On our wedding day, Aimee was timely and prepared and came with great energy to capture the day. She was so organized and captured all the group photos we had wanted, I even saw her still there past the time she was contracted for capturing the fun on the dance floor! Additionally, I loved her style and how she went about her photos. It all felt so natural and in the moment, never too "staged". My fiance and I had a sneak peek at photos the day after our wedding, we loved this so much because it was like getting to relive all those moments while it was still fresh in our minds. I could not recommend Aimee enough if you are looking for a wedding photographer!! :)

Aimee was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She provided a beautiful engagement photo session months before the wedding and let us be as creative as we wanted (including rock-hopping across a river!). She set up pre-wedding video calls where we reviewed the day's events and timeline. During the actual wedding, Aimee captured the day wonderfully, photographing sweet candid moments, and letting the day, the people, and the vibe speak for itself. She documented every moment in the background and truly let the day revolve around our joy with our friends and family naturally. Amy was great with helping me come up with the timeline for the wedding day! She was super helpful and very responsive! The day of she showed up early and was able to get a few extra pics of us getting ready. She was patient with my large elderly family and very aware of the surroundings to pick the best photos. Also, I loved how none of our photos came out looking posed. Everything looks super natural which is my favorite style! She did a great job capturing every moment! She took pictures of moments that I didn’t even knew happened! She got this pictures back quick to us and it was so fun looking through all photos and seeing all the moments! Also, I thought this was super sweet that when she was leaving she made sure to let me know and to see if I wanted her to stay longer to capture anything else! She def stayed late into the night! I’m really glad we went with her!

Aimee's sweet personality brought so much joy to our wedding day. You spend more time with the photographer than you realize and having the level of comfort, fun, and friendliness makes all the difference. She had a quick turn around with our photos in less than a month and they are stunning.
