Mauricio was our photographer for our “wedding pictures” after we eloped. His work speaks for itself, but I can promise you that if you chose him you will not regret it! If you don't believe me, just skip right to pictures and know we only told him we wanted to be in the forest.

Now for the details: Words cannot describe the incredible experience we had with Mauricio and his team. Lets start with the fact that we weren’t even in the country (Costa Rica) through ALL of the planning process; which makes things infinitely harder. Mauricio kept in constant communication with us and was very timely in his responses. He was professional from the moment we found his website and he was willing to work with whatever we were throwing at him: we wanted a wedding photoshoot in a literal forest and that is what he delivered and more! He had the foresight to to look into to look into the conditions of where we wanted to take the pictures and offered suggestions which proved invaluable (we would’ve gotten soaked if we didn’t take his advice!).

Mauricio is also willing to go the extra mile in ever aspect of your shoot; we were in a very remote location, at a very early start time in the middle of the forest! He handled everything with the utmost professionalism and with the best energy and a huge smile on his face! I also asked for a few pictures early so I could gift them to my grandmother and he sent them within the hour!!!!!

Mauricio is the type of person to listen to your vision and make that a reality in a way that you didn’t think was possible. We are very awkward people by nature, but Mauricio immediately put us at ease and guided us through all the poses with patience and understanding. He even gave us a crash course in posing before we started which was extremely helpful. Not only is he a professional, but he makes you feel like you are too! We felt like models in a photoshoot, which is saying a lot from people who usually only take selfies. He is also fully bilingual which was great since I speak Spanish but my husband only speaks English. I didn’t need to translate at all which took some of the workload off me!

Mauricio and his team hiked approx 2 km in the forest to make our vision a reality and we could not be more grateful!!!!!!! I could’ve never imagined the pure MAGIC that resulted from his technique and eye for composition. This is not someone who relies on filters or edits; he fully understands what needs to be done to obtain the pictures of your dreams!

Working with Mauricio and his team was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding experience. From the very beginning, he made us feel seen, heard, and completely at ease. Mauricio was our wedding photographer and we could not have chosen a better photographer. Not only were the photos beautiful, they were exactly what we wanted. Mauricio takes the time to know you and your partner, he takes time to understand your relationship and dynamic and meets with you prior to the wedding to really know the small details that will make your pictures unique and wonderful. My husband did not want posed pictures, he wanted to not even see the photographer and Mauricio listened to that. He was a ninja and obtained candid pictures that are amazing. On the other hand, I asked him to get pictures of my grandma and my 15 year old maltese as they are very important to me and wanted to have wonderful pictures of both. He delivered exactly that. Mauricio is not only an excellent photographer but an incredible human being. Although we worked with him only for our wedding, it felt like we had been friends for years. His personality and how he treats you makes you feel like you are good friends, making the process all the better. I would get married again, just to have him as our photographer.

Our wedding was the long awaited culmination of a love story that involved us living in different countries. We are both on our second marriage so we were very sure of what we wanted for the wedding. Mauricio was the first vendor we booked, I had been scouting for months for photographers so the minute we got engaged I knew who I wanted, our wedding was a year and a half away but I would not risk him not being available so we made the call even before we had the venue. Since day one Mauricio welcomed us with a smile and genuine interest in knowing who we are and what we both liked, he wanted to understand our story and our personalities in order to be able to cathch those little moments that may go unnoticed to everybody else but were special to us. He and his team were always professional, kind and joyful throughout the event, he understood the moods, the pace and would be alert to get those fantastic shots only his eyes and mind could see at the time. We LOVED our photos, this was a big deal for us because we wanted elegant but full of feeling, we wanted to feel the joy and the love, we wanted to feel the laughs and we wanted something we could hang in our Family room as the center photo of many more that will come in future trips and birthdays and graduations. Mauricio gave us everything we hoped and dreamed of, I cant recommend him enough, nobody that choses him will ever regret it. Thank you Mauricio and Team, we are in love of your view of our love.

Desde niña siempre soñé con el día en que me iba a casar, era fue un sueño para mí. Cuando me di cuenta de lo importante que eran las fotos de la boda ya que iban a ser mi único recuerdo a lo largo de los años empecé mi búsqueda de fotógrafo para nuestro día especial. Cuando vi el perfil de Mau y su trabajo en Instagram supe que él era el elegido para retratar todos los momentos que iban a pasar en nuestro gran día, y así fue.
Que belleza de fotos, están increíbles. El día de la boda pasa tan rápido que no pude notar muchos detalles … fue hasta que vi las fotos que me logré percatar de todos los detalles que había capturado Mau y su equipo. Lograron retratar perfectamente el amor que hay entre nuestros familiares, la relación con mis hermanos y mi tía mamá. Mau nos instruyó sobre la importancia de la sesión de esposos y woooowwww las fotos son espectaculares. El acompañamiento que da Mau a través de reuniones virtuales nos ayudó a priorizar qué cosas eran más significativas para nosotros en ese día, y con eso llegamos al getting ready, no sabíamos lo importante que es ese momento hasta que ya lo estábamos viviéndolo y saber que Mau y su equipo estaban pendientes de tantos detalles fue simplemente asombroso.
