This passionate team of culinary experts is devoted to making authentic dishes that showcase their Filipino culture and both push the envelope while remaining approachable. The team sees quality food as a form of storytelling and a way of bringing together past, present, and future.

Cuisine

The team at Peso Hospitality can create an array of dishes from different culinary traditions such as Asian, French, and American, among others. At the heart of their menus though is Filipino cuisine. Dietary restrictions, such as gluten and dairy-free, no pork, organic, vegan, and vegetarian can be accommodated, and to complete the meal, bar services are offered. Event rentals, like dinnerware, linens, tables, and chairs can also be provided in their catering packages.

Not just good food the BEST food and service

Peso Hospitality Catering was by far the best vendor I worked its while planning my wedding. Stephanie was extremely responsive, flexible, and easy going. People could not stop talking about how great the food and service was for our wedding, they still talk about it weeks later. Peso Hospitality created exactly what I wanted for our wedding and their food is just delicious, literally everything they made was amazing. I would highly recommend hiring them for a wedding or any other event. They won’t disappoint.

Amazing Food, Great Price, and Friendly Service

Wow! Wow! Wow! I first encountered Petite Peso when I was looking for a place to eat in Downtown L.A. I was initially drawn in because they had great esthetic, and I always wanted to try Filipino cuisine. Rob greeted me and was able to help introduce their best sellers, and Ria cooked it perfectly! I was HOOKED lol. Once I heard they were doing catering, I immediately thought of having them do my wedding. They made ordering very easy: date, time, location, and amount of guest. I had smaller wedding count of 50 people, and they all had great feedback. Thank you Petite Peso for the delish food, and I can't wait to use you for other events.

Ria has combined her traditional French culinary education with the Filipino flavors of her heritage. She was recently nominated for Eater LA’s “Chef of the Year 2018”. Beginning her training in the time-honored French kitchens where hard work and initiative are expected, Ria is a product of The Mansion LV, Lutece LV, Michael Mina LV, Daniel Boulud Brasserie LV, and Liberty Heights Fresh SLC.

Ria’s first major culinary accomplishment was opening Sqirl with her team, and as the Chef, she propelled the unconventional brunch spot to its current status of celebrity regulars and a perpetual line of hungry guests out the door and around the block. After Sqirl, Ria went on to launch the lunchtime pop-up WILD at Canelé. At WILD, Ria continued her playful and experimental style, incorporating the best fresh, local produce Sqirl is known for, and infusing an expansion of the Filipino flavors she grew up eating. The year-long residency at Canelé was a success with food critics and diners alike. She then rejoined former Sqirl colleagues Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinski to open the Los Feliz branch of Go Get Em Tiger.

After Sqirl and WILD at Canelé, Ria’s experiences led her to oversee all the Go Get Em Tiger locations. Following her time at GGET, she joined Sydney based Paramount Coffee Project to oversee the opening of their expanded offering at The Row in Downtown Los Angeles while also overseeing their original location on Fairfax. Today she is the Executive Chef / VP of Culinary of Peso Hospitality.

President / CEO

Robert has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality, food and beverage industry. His experience for the Mina Group as General Manager for Cal Mare Los Angeles, Stripsteak Waikiki, Bardot Brasserie Las Vegas, Stripsteak Las Vegas and Botero Steakhouse Las Vegas has lead him to his current position as the Director of Food and Beverage of the RSG Group & Mina Group in LA. Robert has worked with the likes of Chef Michael Mina, Chef Jean-Louis Palladin and Chef Bradley Ogden. Robert is certified in the Court of Master Sommelier, Cicerone Certified and Bar Smarts.
