Julie was wonderful to work with. She had so many dresses to choose from and allowed my mom and I to walk around the store and pull dresses ourselves. I had tried lots of dresses on and wasn't feeling them, so redressed. I walked the store one more time and a dress I hadn't seen before caught my eye. It ended up being the one! Dress came in on time and payment and pickup was easy.

I love this bridal shop! They hang around just the right amount of time. They help cinch you in to your next dress and make sure you're comfortable before they leave to give you time to discuss with the group. I found my dress on sale here and went to a family friend for alterations so all in all my dress was far less than $1000, which was my original budget. Because my dress was a sales rack dress there were stones missing and lots of visible wear. Even though it was a sale dress the shop did a wonderful job of replacing broken and missing stones and repairing any visible wear and tear, which I wasn't really expecting them to do on a sale dress. I was ecstatic with the result! You couldn't even tell the stones were at one point broken!

Pearls and Lace is a wonderful dress shop! No strict appointments or limits to how many dresses you can try on. TONS of options and dresses in many different price ranges. The ladies who work there are kind and helpful. Both my sister and I found our dream wedding dresses there at great prices! I would definitely recommend the store to any bride-to-be :)

I went to many bridal stores looking for that perfect dress. This was by far my favorite and of course where I purchased. I fell in love with it. The store has this family boutique kind of feel and the staff is so great at attending to each customer. Customer service is top notch here. They sent my dress off to be altered to my exact measurements and it came back to the store flawless, they even sent me a thank you for my purchase in the mail...such a sweet gesture. I wish this business much continued success; they deserve it!

I was pretty discouraged by the time I came to Pearls & Lace. I really didn't want to spend that much money on my wedding dress as it is a one-time wear dress and anything over $1000 just seemed excessive. I had gone to 4 different stores before I came to Pearls and Lace and any dresses that were under $600 were just more like a bridesmaid dress or not flattering at all.

However, I walked into Pearls & Lace about 15 minutes before they were closed just to see, and they were able to pull 4 dresses off of the rack for me that were in my price range. I saw one dress that I asked them to write down the name for and I later came back and tried it on and loved it.

1. Pearls & Lace is a pretty good sized boutique. They have both Bridesmaids and Wedding dresses. I bought all of my bridesmaid dresses there as well as my wedding dress.

2. They can find anything within your price range. I ended up getting a dress for $700, that wasn't on the sample/sales rack! In case you're wondering, I got an Allure 2716 dress.

3. I haven't gotten my dress yet, but they order as close to your size as possible. They don't do alterations so they're not trying to jack up the size so that they could get money from you for alterations. They refer out for alterations and the prices they gave me for alterations were reasonable for bustling and hemming.

4. YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE AN APPT and be restricted to the one hour that's usually given to you for appts. And I personally really enjoyed that they didn't have a personal shopper following me around. That puts more pressure on. When you walk in, they'll ask for your criteria and then pull dresses off for you and help you put the dress on but they give you space to talk to your party.

Overall, if you were as practical as I am about dresses and are looking to not spend that much money and you're getting pretty discouraged, I'd say try Pearls & Lace. They're amazing people.

I did my research before I chose a place to shop for dresses; especially since I am around a size 14-16, I wanted to be able to feel comfortable trying on dresses and not just stuck with the smaller sizes. I was not disappointed! The moment I walked in they took great care of me, asking questions about what style I was looking for, when my wedding was, etc., and letting me know where the sale dresses were. But then I got the chance to look around myself which was such a relief. There was no pressure, no one trying to force a sale, etc. Just me, my maid of honor, and my mom looking through wedding dresses! The atmosphere is very relaxed but classy, and then had plenty of different styles and designers in my size. I chose a beautiful Allure ballgown and a veil that were both well within my price range. They give out recommendations on tailors as well! I drove down from Bellingham, and my wedding was in Mt. Vernon so I used a tailor in Bellingham, but it was a lovely addition at any rate. Thank you Pearls and Lace!!

Purchased my wedding dress at Pearls and Lace in February. I shopped at multiple dress stores/salons, but Pearls and Lace was hands down my favorite store. They do things a little differently, you don't have to make an appointment, they don't always have someone to help you in and out of dresses and since there's no appointment you can stay as long as you like and try on as many dresses as you like. The staff is very friendly! On my first visit to the store I didn't know the store hours and didn't realize until after I left that the store should have closed 30 minutes ago. I was never rushed or told to leave, she was extremely polite and didn't even mention it. They also have a very large selection of dresses at a lot of different price points. My two suggestions are to bring someone with you to help you in and our of gowns, and to try on lots of dresses. I didn't love my dress on the hanger but once it was on me it was perfect! If you want help they will offer it, if not they will let you be, it's the best of both worlds.

I found the perfect dress here. It had all the elements I wanted, ended up being more than I wanted to spend, but I was very confident with my final decision. I liked that they had lots of dresses to choose from, at several price points. Lighting and mirrors were well placed. I'd recommend bringing an able friend to help, because it can be overwhelming.
