wonderful workers and environment

Paul Mitchell the School did an amazing job for me and my bridesmaids. It was a really fun experience to go to the school, which is a lively and upbeat place full of people who are learning and teachers who walk around and give tips and advice to the stylists. It is a great place for a bride on a budget who is flexible about what she wants, since each stylist is still learning and may be stronger in certain styles than others. The school does have a limitation in that it does not open until 10 am, so this place works best for people with afternoon or evening weddings. Another limitation is that the people answering the phones are always changing, so the bride should follow up really closely to make sure that the appointments are correct. Since the students graduate and leave it is not usually possible to do a trial run far in advance, but I tried to set one up for two days prior to the wedding. However, they hadn't scheduled it properly so the trial was going to be with someone who didn't work on Saturdays! They were able to get it straightened out, but it meant I had to reschedule the trial appointment for later in the afternoon, which interfered with some other plans. On the whole it was a great experience, especially because when I finally did have the trial appointment, Alex my hairdresser was able to get an idea of what I wanted and then spent part of the next day practicing it on a mannequin, so she could show me the model on Saturday. It was perfect and she did an awesome job! This place is definitely not for people who can't handle adventures, but for those who like them it is a great, fun experience, an amazing deal and a high-quality result.

I wasn't too worried about hair and make up, so I thought this would be a good place to go at a low cost (I have gotten hair done here for other events before). I couldn't have been more correct! I came in with a couple of ideas for both services and was so satisfied with the out come!
