When my original hair and makeup artist had to cancel for my wedding due to COVID, I knew I had to book a hair stylist because I have no clue to how to style hair. I booked an appointment with Park Place Salon for my mother, my mother-in-law, and I sight-unseen and without a trial run. Lisa and her team were amazing. I LOVED my hair updo (as did everyone at the wedding and everyone who has seen pictures), and the moms loved their hair styles as well. My updo stayed intact for the entire wedding (and afterparty). Lisa even sent me out with a travel size version of the anti-humidity hairspray she used on me after I commented on how good it smelled. Lisa also gave me her cell phone number in case I needed her to come to the wedding venue and touch up my hair. I didn’t end up needing her help later, but that just shows the level of service she provides. Her salon was very professional and had implemented COVID safety regulations. Would highly recommend!

We had the entire salon to ourselves the morning of the wedding. There were 3 hairstylists working on 4 bridesmaids, the bride, MOB and MOG. Lisa allowed us to bring snacks and mimosas and she let our makeup artist come to the studio to do make-up for all the girls. I was so happy with how my hair came out, Lisa did a great job and it stayed in for the entire wedding. I was also able to go in 3 weeks prior to the wedding for a hair trial.

Would absolutely recommend Park Place Salon! My bridal party and I were treated like royalty from the moment we entered the salon. They listened to our ideas and hair concerns and then proceeded to create amazingly stunning hairstyles. Mine was a partial up-do which held up beautifully even during an outdoor wedding in the heat. For my two girls, Shelby created pretty styles that complemented each of their personalities.

I also had makeup done which turned out unbelievably beautiful! Very natural looking and yet very flattering. Looked great in pictures and lasted all through the wedding and reception without needing any touch-up.

I wish we didn't live five hours away in Pennsylvania because I would certainly use Park Place Salon as our regular hair salon!

Myself and my bridal party had our hair done at Park Place Salon. Everyone's styles turned out fantastic and my style lasted throughout the whole day. The stylists at Park Place were friendly and attentive. After searching for an affordable place to have my hair and wedding party's hair done, Park Place Salon's prices can't be beat.

The only negative part I experienced with the salon had to do with scheduling. I was told my stylist would need 2-3 hours to do my hair. This made no sense to me as I was in and out of my trial appointment in less than an hour. This was a cause of great stress for me as needing to set aside a 3 hour block of time just for my hair while trying to coordinate other appointments that day was very difficult. As it was, on my wedding day, I was in and out in about 45 minutes instead of the predicted 3 hours that I had planned for. It would have been nice to have been able to schedule the appointment for 1 to 1 1/2 hours instead of being told repeatedly that it would be closer to 3 hours.

Rude and abusive towards my baby. I made apt here for my toddler. Everything was fine umtil.we arrived. My daughter arrived for her first haircut which was confirmed before Christmas, we no requirements of masking a baby mentioned. The stylist was setting her chair up with the booster seat when the owner came out to tell me my child would need to keep a mask on to stay in the salon. I told her the cdc doesn't require for her age to wear one. I told her we can try but she doesn't much keep it on. She repeated herself again n told me that we would need to leave if the bb couldn't keep it on. Just when I was about to start putting my daughters coat on my daughter babbled something to the owner. It was at this point that this woman leaned forward n said directly to my baby, im sorry what did u say? Then she looked at the stylist n said, what did she say?. I told her listen she's a baby she doesn't talk yet. I was shaking literally. The aggressive nature towards my daughter was almost too much. A woman in the other room said she was not comfortable with a baby not being masked in the salon. This is why she felt the need to come in and treat my child this way. This place may have good reviews, but to behave this way towards a child or myself, it's almost unimaginable. I hope this helps people to know who they dealing with at this establishment.
