Gin took our engagement photos and Matt joined her for our wedding photos a year ago... and we are still getting comments and compliments on the gorgeous photos they took. I challenge you to find kinder, more talented wedding photographers. Gin was warm and lovely from our very first meeting, and in both our wedding and engagement photos, captured all the moments we wanted (and from our best sides). She was such a great communicator and completely flexible on the day of the wedding. She even braved traffic to join us on a walkthrough of our venue. Above and beyond.

Choosing and trusting a photographer is such an emotional, scary decision... but you won't be in better hands with Gin and Matt. Here's an example: our wedding ran late, so Gin and Matt were set to leave right before the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance. Our coordinator asked if we wanted them to stay and overwhelmed with all the expenses of a wedding, we said no. They stayed anyway. Stayed to capture those moments and now we have them preserved forever. That's the kind of people you'd be hiring.

I can’t rave enough about Palms and Pines Photography. They are not only amazing at what they do, they’re just as incredible human beings. Due to my father in law being very ill and us being out of town, I didn’t get to meet Giny until the day of my wedding. She couldn’t have made it more comfortable and Matt is equally as kind and talented. One look at their pictures and you’ll see how great they are and my pictures turned out just as I always wanted! They really know how to capture moments without being noticed and if you’re like me and have no idea how to act natural, they made it so easy. I’m not a person who looks great in photos all the time but I love my wedding photos! If you want amazing photos to commemorate your day I think you should definitely go with Palms and Pines. ❤️❤️❤️

We are the luckiest couple in the world. After searching for months a friend referred us to Palms and Pines. I reached out to Ginny and explained my vision and she was enthusiastic and made me feel even more excited. I loved her photography style and she was able to work within our budget. Leading up to the event, she was accessible and made sure that we gave her all of the information that she needed. She even managed to remain sweet through my bridal meltdown the week of the wedding.

The day of the wedding, she arrived on time and ready to work. She communicated perfectly with my wedding planner and the videographers. People asked me if they were all from the same company, because they seemed to gel. She had so many great ideas for different shots and she even came on an hour long hike/shoot with us.

We headed out to our honeymoon and halfway through our honeymoon she finished editing all of our photos! We were shocked! They came out so beautiful.

Yes, great photos are amazing (trust me, we have so many from her), but having a connection and an experience with your photographer makes it even better. Ginny is a joy to work with. My only regret is not having the budget to also have Matt come out.

I am already planning on having future shoots with her.

Palms and Pines Photography was an absolute dream to work with. There are so many photographers to choose from, and coming from someone who works in the event industry, I have experience working with an array of vendors. We could have gone with a photographer we already knew, but we based our decision on who we felt the most comfortable with, and who we felt could do the best job of photographing such an incredibly personal day for us. When it comes to capturing your wedding day, you want someone like Giny and Matt, who make you feel at ease and someone who takes pride in capturing all the special moments on a day that just flies by. Of all our vendors, they were hands down our favorite to work with - always professional in our communications, and going above and beyond what is expected of them. We happened to get married on literally the hottest day of the year, and they were such troopers standing in the blazing sun, with water in tow to keep us hydrated. They treat each couple as if they are family and put in the effort as if it were their own special day. Palms and Pines Photography is a true gem and I would not think twice to recommend them to anyone looking for phography services!

I could not have imagined a better experience!!!! Giny and Matt are beautiful, kind, amazingly talented people that I am so so thankful to have found!!!! I was seriously stressed out at the ginormous task of selecting a photographer! I mean these pictures are FOREVER! Not only was the result of the photos far more than I could have dreamed up, but Giny and Matt are such amazing people that it made the whole process such a positive part of our wedding day!! My husband and I cannot rave enough about Giny and Matt. They came recommended to us through our wedding planner (Kari Dirksen of Feathered Arrow) and once we saw their photos, we knew they were the ones. Photography was one of, if not the most important aspect for us to get right and we wanted to be captured as naturally as possible. They are committed to capturing their clients in a natural and candid fashion and use light beautifully and creatively. Their prices are also so reasonable compared to others in the industry. Before we chose locations for our engagement shoot, Giny was really helpful in brainstorming ideas with us and offering suggestions to capture the look we wanted. The engagement shoot itself was simply a blast! For anyone thinking engagement photos are cliche and unnecessary, I highly recommend them so you a) get to know your photographer(s) and b) have such a fun day with your partner. Not only did we have the best day, but the photos turned out beautifully. Giny sent us several hundred photos and it's so hard to choose our favorites. Then came the wedding day, when we finally got to meet Matt. The two of them together are a dream team. We chose a full day package, so Matt started the day capturing the guys getting ready while Giny came to where the ladies were. From there, we spent hours with them while they shot us and our family in every single moment. You get quite intimate with your photographers on your wedding day and we could not have felt more comfortable or in more capable hands; we legitimately had an awesome time celebrating with them, too! Then, the photos came and again, it's so difficult to choose favorites. They truly got the most personal and joyful shots that together, capture the multitude of emotions from the day. They are so talented and we recommend them wholeheartedly. In the end, we became friends and absolutely love them as people. Do not look any further!

Giny and Matt have a beautiful gift of photography and we are just so thankful that they were there to capture our wedding! When we were looking for a wedding photographer we really cared about photos that looked natural - not super posed, but really could just reflect the love we have for each other and memories from our wedding. They captured this and so much more! I remember being on our honeymoon when they released a sneak peek photo and I was freaking out and hitting Mark saying how beautiful this one photo was! I knew the rest would be as amazing, and they didn't disappoint!
Neither Mark or I are ones that like a lot of attention or being in front of the camera - but they have a way about them that's makes you feel so comfortable and natural. It's like you don't even have anyone around taking your photos, but at the same time they are making you feel so good about yourself by saying things like "oh my gosh you guy we already have so many great shots we don't even have to get the ceremony!" Hahah
They truly feel like friends during the whole process and by the time it's your wedding you want them to be there as guests!
We can't stop looking at our photos and the beauty and love of that day - we can't thank them enough for capturing all the wonderful moments that we get to look at forever. I even had two of our photos blow up on canvas for our living room and they look amazing!
