  Fairy Godmother (and Godfather) Photographers

  Gin took our engagement photos and Matt joined her for our wedding photos a year ago... and we are still getting comments and compliments on the gorgeous photos they took. I challenge you to find kinder, more talented wedding photographers. Gin was warm and lovely from our very first meeting, and in both our wedding and engagement photos, captured all the moments we wanted (and from our best sides). She was such a great communicator and completely flexible on the day of the wedding. She even braved traffic to join us on a walkthrough of our venue. Above and beyond.
  
  Choosing and trusting a photographer is such an emotional, scary decision... but you won't be in better hands with Gin and Matt. Here's an example: our wedding ran late, so Gin and Matt were set to leave right before the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance. Our coordinator asked if we wanted them to stay and overwhelmed with all the expenses of a wedding, we said no. They stayed anyway. Stayed to capture those moments and now we have them preserved forever. That's the kind of people you'd be hiring.

  Amazing Photographers and Amazing People

  I can’t rave enough about Palms and Pines Photography. They are not only amazing at what they do, they’re just as incredible human beings. Due to my father in law being very ill and us being out of town, I didn’t get to meet Giny until the day of my wedding. She couldn’t have made it more comfortable and Matt is equally as kind and talented. One look at their pictures and you’ll see how great they are and my pictures turned out just as I always wanted! They really know how to capture moments without being noticed and if you’re like me and have no idea how to act natural, they made it so easy. I’m not a person who looks great in photos all the time but I love my wedding photos! If you want amazing photos to commemorate your day I think you should definitely go with Palms and Pines. ❤️❤️❤️

  Gin and Matt went above and beyond for our wedding day! They were incredibly accommodating every step of the way and have such a natural talent for having us pose for pictures that didn't feel awkward at all. Our wedding day was perfect and thanks to Gin and Matt, we have bright, vibrant, beautiful photos to prove it. I would choose them as our wedding photographers 1000x over!

  Gin and Matt went above and beyond for our wedding day!   We are the luckiest couple in the world. After searching for months a friend referred us to Palms and Pines. I reached out to Ginny and explained my vision and she was enthusiastic and made me feel even more excited. I loved her photography style and she was able to work within our budget. Leading up to the event, she was accessible and made sure that we gave her all of the information that she needed. She even managed to remain sweet through my bridal meltdown the week of the wedding.
  
  The day of the wedding, she arrived on time and ready to work. She communicated perfectly with my wedding planner and the videographers. People asked me if they were all from the same company, because they seemed to gel. She had so many great ideas for different shots and she even came on an hour long hike/shoot with us.
  
  We headed out to our honeymoon and halfway through our honeymoon she finished editing all of our photos! We were shocked! They came out so beautiful.
  
  Yes, great photos are amazing (trust me, we have so many from her), but having a connection and an experience with your photographer makes it even better. Ginny is a joy to work with. My only regret is not having the budget to also have Matt come out.
  
  I am already planning on having future shoots with her.

  I can't say enough AMAZING things about Palms and Pines Photography! I was lucky enough to find them for my wedding and I am beyond happy that I did! I had a vision, shared it with them, and they made it WORK!!!!! Everyone in my wedding was SUPER impressed with how professional and TALENTED they were. Now that I look back at my wedding, I am sooooo grateful that I took my time, did my research, and chose the best photographers!!!

  My husband and I cannot rave enough about Giny and Matt. They came recommended to us through our wedding planner (Kari Dirksen of Feathered Arrow) and once we saw their photos, we knew they were the ones. Photography was one of, if not the most important aspect for us to get right and we wanted to be captured as naturally as possible. They are committed to capturing their clients in a natural and candid fashion and use light beautifully and creatively. Their prices are also so reasonable compared to others in the industry. Before we chose locations for our engagement shoot, Giny was really helpful in brainstorming ideas with us and offering suggestions to capture the look we wanted. The engagement shoot itself was simply a blast! For anyone thinking engagement photos are cliche and unnecessary, I highly recommend them so you a) get to know your photographer(s) and b) have such a fun day with your partner. Not only did we have the best day, but the photos turned out beautifully. Giny sent us several hundred photos and it's so hard to choose our favorites. Then came the wedding day, when we finally got to meet Matt. The two of them together are a dream team. We chose a full day package, so Matt started the day capturing the guys getting ready while Giny came to where the ladies were. From there, we spent hours with them while they shot us and our family in every single moment. You get quite intimate with your photographers on your wedding day and we could not have felt more comfortable or in more capable hands; we legitimately had an awesome time celebrating with them, too! Then, the photos came and again, it's so difficult to choose favorites. They truly got the most personal and joyful shots that together, capture the multitude of emotions from the day. They are so talented and we recommend them wholeheartedly. In the end, we became friends and absolutely love them as people. Do not look any further!

  Palms and Pines Photography was an absolute dream to work with. There are so many photographers to choose from, and coming from someone who works in the event industry, I have experience working with an array of vendors. We could have gone with a photographer we already knew, but we based our decision on who we felt the most comfortable with, and who we felt could do the best job of photographing such an incredibly personal day for us. When it comes to capturing your wedding day, you want someone like Giny and Matt, who make you feel at ease and someone who takes pride in capturing all the special moments on a day that just flies by. Of all our vendors, they were hands down our favorite to work with - always professional in our communications, and going above and beyond what is expected of them. We happened to get married on literally the hottest day of the year, and they were such troopers standing in the blazing sun, with water in tow to keep us hydrated. They treat each couple as if they are family and put in the effort as if it were their own special day. Palms and Pines Photography is a true gem and I would not think twice to recommend them to anyone looking for phography services!

  Giny and Matt have a beautiful gift of photography and we are just so thankful that they were there to capture our wedding! When we were looking for a wedding photographer we really cared about photos that looked natural - not super posed, but really could just reflect the love we have for each other and memories from our wedding. They captured this and so much more! I remember being on our honeymoon when they released a sneak peek photo and I was freaking out and hitting Mark saying how beautiful this one photo was! I knew the rest would be as amazing, and they didn't disappoint!
  Neither Mark or I are ones that like a lot of attention or being in front of the camera - but they have a way about them that's makes you feel so comfortable and natural. It's like you don't even have anyone around taking your photos, but at the same time they are making you feel so good about yourself by saying things like "oh my gosh you guy we already have so many great shots we don't even have to get the ceremony!" Hahah
  They truly feel like friends during the whole process and by the time it's your wedding you want them to be there as guests!
  We can't stop looking at our photos and the beauty and love of that day - we can't thank them enough for capturing all the wonderful moments that we get to look at forever. I even had two of our photos blow up on canvas for our living room and they look amazing!
  We again are so glad we had them photograph our wedding and can't imagin having anyone else capturing our day! Love you guys and hope that we can use you in the future for other big life events!

  Giny and Matt were absolutely incredible to work with and we became fast friends! I wouldn't consider myself or my husband to be at all shy but there is something very intimate and vulnerable about having your love captured on camera. I thought I may have a hard time adjusting to this with our engagement session so we brought a little bubbly along as assistance but Giny made us feel so comfortable that we didn't even need it!
  
  We went with their full day package and couldn't be happier! Their creativity and energy helped us get all of the important and unforgettable photos that we had always dreamed of! We love their style of photography and candidness. We also wanted to find someone who would allow us to keep ALL of our wedding photos and not just a few that they thought were best. So many of our close friends who had gotten married before us complained about how their photographers didn't let them have or even see all of their moments that were captured so we knew we didn't want that. Luckily for us, Giny and Matt feel the same way and we have an AMAZING set of unforgettable snaps from our engagement shoot and our big day!

  My husband & I worked with Giny & Matt for our wedding last summer, & for an engagement shoot...& we're so thrilled that we found them!!! Quality photography was one of the most, if not THE, most important part to us when planning our wedding. I scoured the internet for what seemed like forever looking for a photographer with just the right look, but it seemed that most that I liked were far out of our budget. I began to get disheartened...until I found Giny & Matt! Their work was incredibly beautiful, they were willing to work around a budget, AND they were two of the most friendly, easy going folks you could ever hope to meet. We actually almost thought that they were too good to be true until they made the trip out to Colorado for our engagement shoot and venue walkthrough! :D
  
  Giny is a great communicator, & extremely thorough (she mentioned to me that she used to be a wedding planner) - this lady knows what she's doing for sure. My fiance & I felt super comfortable that everything would go perfectly photography-wise. Not only did we end up with the most amazing engagement photos (adventure style on top of mountains!), but our wedding photos were beyond perfect. Ten months after my wedding, I find myself looking at them & reminiscing almost every day. Giny & Matt were able to capture the natural beauty of the venue & all of the emotions felt on that magical day so well. They worked so hard, running around like ninjas to get all the best shots! Giny even came over to tell us at dinner that there was a double rainbow outside, so of course we ran outside with her to get a picture with it! We had such a great time with them! Only after the wedding did I realize that they had experienced a very difficult family loss right before it, & they still managed to stay positive and do so much for us. <3
  
  I am infinitely grateful for all of the hard work that these two extremely talented people did for my husband & I, and so so SO glad to have found them!

  I could not have imagined a better experience!!!! Giny and Matt are beautiful, kind, amazingly talented people that I am so so thankful to have found!!!! I was seriously stressed out at the ginormous task of selecting a photographer! I mean these pictures are FOREVER! Not only was the result of the photos far more than I could have dreamed up, but Giny and Matt are such amazing people that it made the whole process such a positive part of our wedding day!! My husband and I feel super awkward in front of a camera, but Giny helped direct us so we knew how to stand and what to do with our arms... we laughed and had fun and the pictures came out INCREDIBLE!!!! Not only do I want to be her forever friend, but whatever photo needs I ever have in the future, I know EXACTLY who I will call. Do not miss out on this power duo! Can we do it all again!?

Not only was the result of the photos far more than I could have dreamed up, but Giny and Matt are such amazing people that it made the whole process such a positive part of our wedding day!! My husband and I feel super awkward in front of a camera, but Giny helped direct us so we knew how to stand and what to do with our arms... we laughed and had fun and the pictures came out INCREDIBLE!!!! Not only do I want to be her forever friend, but whatever photo needs I ever have in the future, I know EXACTLY who I will call. Do not miss out on this power duo! Can we do it all again!?

  We hired Giny and Matt to photograph our wedding last year and it was probably one of the best decisions we made. Our whole wedding was pretty DIY and we were on a major budget, so searching for a great photographer that fit in our spending budget wasn't the easiest, but when we saw these guys and their pictures and everything they offered it was like a miracle with the clouds parting and everything! Giny was able to answer all of my questions, offer advice, give me ideas, and was always flexible with whatever ideas and changes we had. She even met us in a dark park at 5am and scaled a cliff with us for our engagement session...how many people would do that for you? I had not found very many. And for our wedding? These two were literally everywhere. Our guests even joked that they would probably be in the fridge if they happened to open it, just waiting for a shot. They make an awesome team, were so fun and easy to work with, and gave us the most amazing pictures I could have ever wished for. I still have not tired of looking through all of our pictures, and I don't think I ever will. They really do make a dream team!

  My husband and I used Palms and Pines Photography for our engagement shoot (in LA) in 2015 and wedding day (on Catalina Island) in 2016, where we worked primarily with Giny. We had an incredible experience working with her and will continue to recommend her and her husband to newly engaged couples. Not only do they shoot stunning and unique photography, they go above and beyond to make shoots feel comfortable and fun.
  
  Since photography was a huge priority for us, we decided on an engagement shoot in addition to our wedding day shoot- which I couldn't recommend more. We met with Giny ahead of time to talk through our ideas-- she is super creative and was able to execute our vision perfectly, while still sticking to her gorgeous signature style that I fell in love with when I first checked out her website. Not only did the photos look amazing, the shoot gave us an opportunity to get to know Giny and form a relationship before she shot our wedding day.
  
  Giny made the trek out to Catalina for our wedding and was with us from start to finish on wedding day. Before the wedding, Giny helped us decide on a timeline—we opted for: getting ready photos, first look and family/bridal party photos, ceremony, additional portraits, and then reception. Though we had a general idea of where we wanted the first look and portrait photos shot, we ended up making a couple last minute decisions for shoot locations and she handled it flawlessly. She was able to transition us from shot to shot so easily and it never felt stressful—if anything, the shoots were really fun and ended up being a special and memorable part of our day.
  
  Scrolling through them for the first time with my husband was very emotional—it felt like we were reliving the entire day. We loved everything from the portraits to the candid dance floor photos of our guests. Even a year later, I still get people messaging me to tell me how stunning the photos were. We can’t thank Palms and Pines enough!

  I may be a little biased considering Giny and Matt are my friends first, but they are simply exquisite. If you are thinking to yourself, are two photographers really necessary or worth it for that matter? YES! (and here's why) Not only does this couple have the professional demeanor, but they are accommodating, extremely easygoing, and did I mention they don't miss a thing?! With Giny and Matt you have the flexibility to capture the bridesmaids and groomsmen simultaneously, which - for those of you that do everything the day of - can be a much needed time savings! I highly recommend these two and I cannot say enough about their die-hard work ethic, friendly attitudes, and comforting support during your special day! Book them now before you regret it :)
