From start to finish, Jerry was hands-on, attentive, and full of suggestions. When it came to selecting vendors for our special day: the venue, caterer, florist, officiant, DJ, photographer, and videographer all came at Jerry’s recommendations. Being that we lived in South Florida, and he lived in Orlando, we would meet regularly via Zoom calls. They continued even after he moved to Shreveport, LA midway through the planning process. He was very organized and checked in with us at various points to keep us on track, but he never overstepped. He always reminded us that we were in charge of our planning and choices but that he was there to help in any way that he could; sometimes even doubling as a couple’s therapist when we didn’t agree on a particular thing. My husband and I could not be happier with how everything turned out for our wedding and we believe Over the Rainbow Weddings should be at the top of everyone’s list when selecting a wedding planner.

I reached out to Over the Rainbow as I was attempting to conduct my own reception. The hectic day of my job did not allow me the time but, my controlling spirit of perfection and oder made it hard to give up control. He helped us with every little detail from floor plans, to the wedding timeline to the day of coordination.
