First of all, the fact that they were even willing to host a reception on Christmas Eve was amazing, when most other venues either flat out refused or wanted to charge ridiculous upcharges just because of the day. Aside from simply being available, however, the value deserves seven stars (we seated 60 people for under $2300 without sacrificing the food we wanted), the food was out of this world delicious, the hall itself was stunning, and it was the perfect venue for the ceremony itself so that no one had to travel on a poor weather day. I will say that the chairs themselves are godawful ugly, which necessitated the use of chair covers, but if you really want any reception to be fairy-tale perfect you'd need the same chair covers anyway, and the banquet manager made sure the chairs got set up without a hitch. The manager was also a dream to work with, making sure everything that we wanted happened and the hall looked *EXACTLY* the way we wanted to. He will let you get away with anything that falls within safety/fire codes. The service was perfect, and the stations they use for dinner made it so 90% of our guests already had food on their plates by the time the head table sat down to eat. The size of the hall is excellent for weddings between 50 and about 85 people. The food deserves a second mention, since at most wedding receptions I've been to the food is a little dry and at best mediocre; our dinner was absolutely 4-star restaurant at least.
