We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our wedding at! The views are incredible being on the water and the inside is very spacious. The staff was also very nice nice! Our guests raved about how great everyone who worked at the venue was. We would highly recommend the harbor club for any occasion!

Steinhilber's was the perfect choice for our wedding on 4.11.26. Everything—the food, the scenery, and the overall energy—was exactly what we dreamed of. Rebekah and her staff made us feel so well cared for with their kindness and attention to detail. If you're looking for a seamless and beautiful venue, this is it!

We had our daughter and son in laws wedding at blue Pete in March 2026. The decorations were stunning, guests couldn’t say enough about the amazing food, and the staff made sure the day was perfect. Cups never empty, tables cleaned, and every need met. They went above and beyond for an amazing perfect day

I wouldn't have changed a thing. The staff was great and the food was amazing!

I was having a hard time deciding where I wanted to get married. I tried bouncing ideas off of my now-husband who wanted an outdoor wedding, so we thought of a garden, the beach, a farmhouse... and I checked out places like those. None of them fit the vibe or the budget. So I lost all hope of finding a place... until I saw Commune Norfolk online. It's not outdoors but food would already be a thing that I didn't have to find a third-party vendor for, so me and the hubby went for it. It had an industrial style look with the red brick walls and concrete columns, exposed ceiling air ventilation, huge factory style windows, and cute cafe lights. It screamed "this is my style". The even had "movable walls", which could be rearranged to fit any layout you needed, which I needed for both a ceremony and a reception. I met up with my wedding planner here a couple of times to get things together... and we both ordered food here, because why not? A couple weeks from the big day, we had a tasting and everything was super delicious. The chef was amazing. The staff as well as the owner were very accommodating. I'm glad I got married here... and now, it's my new favorite place for brunch, lunch, whatever.

We had our rehearsal dinner here, and it was fabulous! The food is delicious, the drinks and beer selection are endless, and the atmosphere is perfect for the Colonial Williamsburg area. The room they use is downstairs (although if the party is small enough they can also seat you upstairs). It holds 40-45 comfortable and can squeeze in 50. It has its own kitchen so food is made and served quickly once ordered. The floors upstairs are solid so there isn't a lot of ambient noise that might be disruptive. Toasts are easily heard with either a mic (must bring one yourself) or just raising your voice a bit. The management team we worked with was awesome. Professional, responsive, and wanted to make our event successful and fun. Everyone who came to the rehearsal dinner had an absolute blast. We were even able to come in early and set up place cards. Only two things I would point out. First is that the closest parking is at the Prince George St parking garage. Otherwise you'll need to find street parking in CW (a bit of a challenge) or park a little further away and walk to Merchant Square (Dog St Pub is right next to the Trellis). So make sure people know where they're going, or have a means for people to get there. Second is that there is a minimum which is somewhere between $3000-$3500. But the staff will keep you up to date on the amount spent, and if you're not near the minimum will make suggestions (more wine, snacks, etc.) This is what happened for us and we just purchased some bottles of wine to take with us :) Completely worth it, and loved every second of it! This place is AMAZING! We had our rehearsal dinner at the Brick Anchor Brew House and it was perfect! They let us choose our own menu, which no other place would allow me to do. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond for us. Lisa and Phil were eager to help us in anyway. Phil made personalized menus with our pictures on it, and they had a memory sign for all of our guests to sign. We rented the third floor which had its own bar and plenty of space for our large party. We had perfect privacy and there was a sign made with our photo to show the guests where to go. It was incredible. The whole experience was incredible. If you are looking for an amazing rehearsal dinner spot, THIS IS IT! There is not a better spot!

Scheduling and planning our experience was made so easy here. The food was amazing and you couldn’t go wrong with any of the options given. The service was top notch and the view off the upstairs balcony made the whole evening magical.

I can't say enough about White Dog Bistro. I am a wedding planner and we had my sister's wedding reception there as it was a small amount of people. From my original conversation with Walter I knew it was going to be an awesome night. I never expected the service to be as top notch as it was. Amanda was overly communicative helping ensure everything from the time we arrived until we left was taken care of. We had a couple of people who didn't order appetizers and at the last minute we had to add them on and Amanda and team made it appear so effortlessly to have them added. Not once during our night did they ever seemed it was frustrating or a challenge for them. Now let's talk about the amazing menu or food they provided. Not one of our guests said anything but raving reviews of how good the food was from apps to Salads and entree. The portions are big so you definitely won't go home hungry. So when you are looking for your next evening out or special gathering contact White Dog Bistro as you want be disappointed. Top notch service and food for sure! Thank you White Dog for all you did to help my sister and husband have an incredible night!

Bobby Gill helped me by providing a full list of every option I wanted and providing me with every detail I needed. Very inexpensive and incredibly good food! The delivery fee is a bit steep at $10 per mile - but so worth it and within my budget.
