The food was amazing! The tasting session was so special, he set it up as if it was a date night and served us. So many options we wanted everything. I would recommend Bruce and staff hands down! I would definitely hire him again to cater another event I may have! Book him! You won’t regret and won’t forget the delicious food!

Bruce and his amazing team did our wedding. He was ALWAYS very kind and patient with changes that can come along while planning a wedding. He was always so flexible and willing to accommodate our requests. During the 120 people wedding dinner, we had a big deal of people coke to us and compliment the food and say it was better than restaurant level. They also included China sets, something that we really wanted for the dinner, but it was difficult to find with other vendors in the area without making it twice as expensive. I recommend this catering service to all brides! They are THE BEST!!!!!

We are so glad we choose On Board Catering for our big day. The food and staff were top tier. While choosing the menus they gave us many options for food and decorating. They gave great advice with timeline and worked hard to make sure our day fit the vison we planned. They were timely, communicated well with us as well as our other vendors. They worked hard to make sure they left the kitchen space clean and followed all the venue rules. So glad we booked this vendor for our day! Highly recommend.

Bruce was amazing, I had very little to worry about the day of my wedding. The food was amazing and his staff was courteous. Very pleased!

Bruce, Shameka, and their team were fabulous for our wedding! We’re still getting rave reviews on the Mac and cheese two months later. Everything was delicious and their servers were so kind and attentive to us and our guests. I was even more impressed by Bruce’s options for vegetarians and his help on creating a cohesive menu.

Shameka was wonderful as our coordinator as well! She took care of everything down to the tiniest detail and both us and the venue owners were so appreciative. I could not have asked for a better team to essentially run the show!

While On Board usually caters weddings we chose them to cater a graduation party for two young women who had earned their Ph.D. All of my guest could not say enough about the great food was, they loved it. It was a joy to work with Chef Bruce and his staff.

On Board Catering provided a beautiful and delicious charcuterie display for our wedding reception. The guests immensely enjoyed it. We appreciated the care the staff took to label ingredients and allergies (our guests had several) as well as provided vegan options. There was something for everyone at the table.

Please think twice before spending a substantial amount of money on catering for the biggest day of your life with this company as you may receive a subpar service. My husband and I chose this company for our May Wedding due to the fact that it was not only a black-owned business that seemed reputable, but also our encounter with the owner, Bruce, was very professional as he ensured that his company was the best choice to host the wedding. Unfortunately, after our wedding, we saw a different side that was FAR from what was presented when we scheduled our food tasting.

From his bartender talking about me being a picky bride and saying a racial comment to my husband to be, to the owner going off site without anyone’s knowledge, and overall the staff being inappropriate, unprofessional and unorganized throughout our wedding day, we felt betrayed by a company who portrayed themselves as classy, but ended up being disrespectful to my husband and I being the bride and groom and our guests who expected a stellar service.

All complaints were dismissed by the owner without any option for refunding us any portion of the money we paid and has not apologized or held himself or his staff accountable. Not a way to run a business. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
