Olive Wood Pizza was amazing to work with as the caterers for a recent wedding that I planned and coordinated. Rachel was so easy to communicate and coordinate details with leading up to the event, and Jess and the rest of his crew did a great job keeping the event flowing and all the guests happy and fed! As a wedding planner, I can always appreciate a well-ran catering team that will help ensure the success of the event. 10/10 I would recommend Olive Wood Pizza to any of my future clients, as I'd love to work with them again!

Delicious artisan pizza

Best pizza I've ever had! Their pricing is significantly lower than other caterers in the area, but they serve high-quality food. Everyone at the wedding loved having them.

Best Pizza Vendor in SoCal

Olivewood catered my wedding a couple of weeks ago. I cannot say enough good things about the food and the team at Olivewood. It seemed like every guest at our wedding told us "this is the best wedding food we have ever had". That is the exact experience we wanted to create and could not have done it without Olivewood.

Before choosing Olivewood, I talked to so many different pizza vendors in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. The professionalism displayed by Ian, Heather and Kailee was truly unmatched in the industry. I would highly recommend having Olivewood cater any event.

Forget the traditional full service receptions...

Let me just say that the pizzas are one of the best I've ever had.

The wife and I planned our wedding during the peak of Covid and we wanted to limit contact between the guests and vendors so we opted for a self-serve type of reception. Additionally, we requested to have individual pizzas per guest and Olive Wood was very accomodating. Our families are very traditional and were skeptical of having pizza as the reception meal, but they already had their own weddings last century, so we went forward with the pizzas anyways lol. And guess what... they said it was the best reception meal they've had at a wedding. Who says pizzas cant be classy?

Olive Wood Pizza is incredible!

If you are looking for AMAZING wedding food that is a crowd pleaser, you have found your answer! We got married on August 3, 2019 in Rolling Hills, CA, and Olive Wood Pizza was a HUGE hit! We wanted the food at our wedding to be memorable and delicious, and Ian and his team made that dream come true. Ian was very friendly, professional, and accommodating from day one through the wedding day. His attitude was, "This is your wedding. We'll do whatever it takes," and he was one of the only vendors we found during our wedding planning process that had this approach. And it paid off. Olive Wood Pizza easily accommodated all of our the dietary restrictions for our guests (no pork, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free). They even created a custom made pizza for us (garlic & mushroom with truffle oil) that was a smashing success! We lost track of how many of our wedding guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! We would recommend Olive Wood Pizza in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a wedding caterer.

This is the 4th year to have Olive wood Pizza for our Temple's award party. Can't believe that the veggie pizza can be so tasty, they use fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheese, create variety flavors, it's really delicious even without any meats.
They always bring surprise to customers.

Your pizza's and your team were the "hit" of our party! EVERYONE complemented us on the food. These guys set up quickly and deliver non stop. We especially loved the jalapeño and bacon pizza. Also fun to watch as they toss the dough in the air and bake in right front of you.
If you need a caterer these guys are your pick!

The food was amazing!! So many people talked about how delicious it all was. The meatballs were a huge hit. Their service was fantastic as well!! Ian communicated with us via email and answered all questions/concerns. The day of our wedding they came, set up, served delicious food on time, cleaned up and left. We never had to worry about one single thing!! We had a pizza left over for a little midnight snack and it tasted even better than it did earlier that day....probably cuz we were able to actually eat in peace ☺️ I am so happy with our decision to go with Olive wood. I definitely recommend using them.

WE. LOVED. THIS. FOOD!!! Our guests loved this food & are still talking about it!. Ian is the BEST. He is informative, professional, and accommodating. We got married at SmogShoppe in Culver City with around 80 guests. The food was absolutely fantastic! Ian helped to bring our vision together and customized the menu for us. We ended up going with tomato soup shooters, bruschetta, meatballs, & antipasto/charcuterie for appetizers and seven varieties of pizza with orzo salad, green salad, & asparagus salad for dinner. A few of our guests were vegan and Ian was able to whip up special pizzas for them on the spot. The appeal for us was the quality and the fun of having the oven brought in with the pizzas cooked right in front of us and our guests. The food kept coming until guests stopped eating (2 hours of service). Everything was beautiful and tasted fantastic!!

I highly recommend Olive Wood Pizza, and will definitely book him again in the future!

WE LOVED THIS FOOD!!! Our guests loved this food & are still talking about it!. Ian is FANTASTIC to work with - very informative, professional, and accommodating. We got married at SmogShoppe in Culver City with around 70 guests. The food was absolutely fantastic! Appetizers: tomato soup shooters, bruschetta, meatballs, & antipasto/charcuterie. Dinner: 7 varieties of pizza, orzo salad, green salad, & asparagus salad. The flavors were incredible!! A few of our guests were vegan and Ian was able to whip up special pizzas for them on the spot. The appeal for us was the quality and the fun of having the oven brought in with the pizzas cooked right in front of us and our guests. The food kept coming until guests stopped eating (2 hours of service). For a buffet, the food never ran low or ran out. Beautiful to look at, amazing to taste. Very filling, very delicious. Leftover pizzas were boxed up for us & we nibbled on them for breakfast the next day.

Ian also has a great understanding of events & offered use of his staff to help set up our dessert bar (from another vendor - DIY). The cost paid included numerous planning conversations, the oven on-site, all food as described above, 2 hours of dinner service, and set up/tear down. The staff were very professional and very conscientious of our ceremony; they were prepping in the kitchen very close to our ceremony space and did not make a peep! They are truly outstanding.

We will absolutely book Olive Wood in the future!
