About

Old Stonegate Farms is a barn and farm wedding venue located in Nunica, Michigan. Situated on 20 acres of land and dating back to 1867, this historic venue is ready to host each couple’s wedding or special celebratory event. Our family-owned venue works closely with every couple to ensure no small detail is overlooked.

Facilities and Capacity

Old Stonegate Farms offers a beautiful barn event space and many other facilities for couples to make the most of throughout their stay. The barn features hand-crafted beams, high ceilings, and original exposed brickwork that gives the space a vintage style. Perfect for large and small celebrations the barn can host up to 270 guests and also provides on-site bathrooms and parking. Additional facilities include the Stonegate Farmhouse we call Blaine in honor of our moms. The traditional farmhouse offers gorgeous and modern bridal suites, bridesmaids suites, salon studio, groomsmen room, and a playroom. This is the perfect location for the important guests to relax before the ceremony and celebrations. The 3 acres surrounding the venue make for great natural photo opportunities for the couple and their guests.

The venue offers a range of wedding and event services that can be tailored to suit each couple’s preferences and requirements. Clients may work with outside vendors to help plan and service their special day. Every wedding event includes a range of rental items including tables, chairs, linens, and other props to customize the event space.

Situated in an isolated and intimate location, away from the noise of the big city, Old Stonegate Farms is close to a range of natural West Michigan areas. For couples and guests traveling, Gerald R. Ford International Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive away.

Perfection!

We simply could not have been happier to have hosted our wedding at Old Stonegate Farms. It was truly the PERFECT venue for us. We wanted to keep everything onsite, (getting ready, ceremony, and reception), and Melissa & Doug made this an incredibly easy and smooth process. They are so very hard working and fully dedicated to their craft. Doug is meticulous about the grounds keeping, table arrangements, and chair placements - not a single thing was out of place. Melissa is extremely organized and makes sure she gets every detail of your wildest dreams made possible. On top of this, they are both kind, lovely people and a joy to work with. With OSF you get SO much bang for your buck — something you don’t fully realize until your day goes off without a hitch. We would’ve spent hundreds of more dollars on decorations had it not been for the closet of “pay it forward” decorations available to everyone who books with OSF. These decorations elevated our centerpieces, ceremony aisle, and various other reception spots! This venue is absolutely stunning with the hops field at golden hour being our personal favorite part. The bar service, Pour Choices, that you use with OSF was perfect, affordable, and we had zero issues with them. If you are any bit hesitant about booking OSF for your wedding or other events - please, take it from us — you will not be disappointed!!!

Amazing experience

Linda was amazing helping us coordinate and service our wedding, especially last minute due to a venue change from COVID. The farmhouse is gorgeous and there is space for everyone to get ready. There are so many spaces for photos inside and outside. The barn is phenomenal, and even though we didn’t need them, they have heaters in case it gets cold.
Our ceremony was indoors, even though there is an outdoor space, just in case the weather wasn’t great for November. That was set beautifully!
Everything is pre-decorated to your choosing, and they have tons of signs, decorations, flowers, and easels to choose from. We didn’t have any rentals besides centerpieces. Everything is included. And it was all set out by Linda and her team before we got there! They made our day so easy and memorable. Thank you to Linda, her husband, and her service for helping to make our day wonderful!

All in one

There aren't enough good words to describe Old Stonegate Farms. Planning a wedding in a pandemic was made easy by Linda and her family. They are extremely flexible, prompt and professional. To have our whole wedding day in one spot lifted such a big load off of everyone. I cannot recommend this venue enough and love everything about it!

Linda is amazing. I am planning my wedding and we hired her barn to be our venue. It’s beyond gorgeous, clean and fun!

We had an amazing wedding here! The venue was beautiful, everything we expected and more. The weather wasn't very cooperative but they made the necessary changes seamlessly and everything went off without a hitch. They were very accommodating and professional, even at the last minute. I would highly, highly recommend them.

This was outright the best decision for our wedding that we made. Walt and Linda are amazing people and an awesome team. We could not have asked for a better venue. With the ability to set up the barn how we wanted, and to use all the amazing furniture and props that Old Stonegate provided, our wedding was absolutely beautiful. We had many compliments on how it was decorated and just the venue in general. I LOVE this place! Thank you so much for all you did for us.

Old Stonegate Farms was amazing to work with! They worked super hard to make my wedding what I wanted it to be. The house, barn and the grounds are so beautiful and decorated with style. It rained on my wedding day but they were flexible and helped move everything around to still make my wedding day amazing!
