Elderberry Farms Estate is a gorgeous countryside wedding venue in Traverse City, MI. The friendly owners have been in the wedding industry for quite some time, having spent more than 17 years running an award-winning photography and videography business. Now, they want to share their love and joy for the happiest days in a couple's life by offering their fully functioning farm as the backdrop for forever memories.
Facilities and Capacity
Enchanting grounds at Elderberry Farms Estate provide the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony and reception. The venue caters to both smaller, more intimate gatherings and large, lavish affairs and accommodates up to 100 people outdoors. With over 14 acres of rich farmland, couples can choose between several beautiful outdoor locations to swap their vows and say, "I do." Afterward, the wedding party can utilize the outdoor covered porches for cocktail hour or the reception tent to celebrate the happy union. When the sound of glasses clinking and cheering subsides, couples can lead their loved ones to the barn's indoor reception area for smaller gatherings or the outdoor event tent. The barn is a charming southern equestrian-style building with a modern rustic design. Quiet hours are 11 p.m. Amplified outdoor ceremony and reception permitted (DJ), amplified live music prohibited (band).
Services Offered
Starting in early 2026, Elderberry Farms Estate will offer alcohol sales and service through their Class C licensed bar. Couples can notify of their beverage selections one month prior to event and the tab is paid at the end of the event. At Elderberry Farms Estate, nearlyweds have the option to use private chefs or bring in their own catering team. They also can choose to use several rental items, including flatware, chargers, linens, glasses, and dishes. If couples want to extend the celebration, they can arrange an overnight stay at the private upstairs apartment at Elderberry Farms Estate or host their rehearsal dinner or bridal shower prior to their wedding.
