We held our wedding at the Old Rock House on 9/24/2022 our expectations were exceeded in every possible way!!! Old Rock House has always been my favorite venue, and I'd been wanting to get married there since long before I was even engaged. They were the first venue we toured, and we had no need to look at any other venues because we knew it was the perfect fit. From the beginning, Ashley and the rest of the ORH team were very organized and straightforward, while also being laid back and easy to work with. We were able to save on a wedding planner, because Ashley took care of pretty much every aspect - she did the seating chart, the decorations, the linens, and was very helpful in advising on timelines and all the small details. I am NOT a planner and was afraid this wedding would be so stressful, but she seriously made it SO easy and relaxed. The food (made in-house) was very solid, we went with BBQ and the buffet line moved smoothly and dinner was nice and quick, just like we wanted. HUGE shoutout to the bartenders - we received many comments about how great the cocktails were and that there was never a wait, even with 180 drinkers in the house. The atmosphere all night was LIT! The patio was the perfect place to socialize for those who weren't on the dance floor, complete with a Mirror photo booth (ordered through ORH) which was so much fun. The dance floor was truly unbeatable. We knew we wanted a live band for our wedding, and if you're looking to get a live band, then you absolutely cannot find a better stage and dance floor than ORH. The lighting was awesome, the sound was phenomenal, and the dance floor was the perfect size that it felt full but not at all overcrowded. I don't think I left the dance floor for more than 10 minutes because it was such a blast. After the band was done, they let us provide a 90 minute spotify playlist for the last part of the night. I cannot tell you how many people reached out to us afterwards to tell us how fun and unique the venue was. I know it was a night our guests will never forget, and I cannot thank the whole ORH team enough for making our special day so much better than we ever could have dreamed. I'm getting emotional just writing this review so I'll leave it at that - we love you ORH!!!!

Our wedding was the party of a lifetime!
Everything about this venue was perfection from beginning to end. They were flexible, diligent. Everything they said would be done was done. They took my vision and not only nailed it but made it even better than I had imagined! Ashley, the coordinator, went above and beyond when I was overwhelmed. She secured decorations, rented me a donut wall, and even secured a last second Photo Booth when I had forgotten. Many people told me it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, and I credit a lot of that to the venue staff and general vibe. Cannot recommend enough!

Amazing venue!
We had our wedding reception at the Old Rock House. It was fantastic! Great food, great service, and a wonderful venue. Ashley helped us every step of the way. She was so easy to communicate with! We chose to have One Way Traffic play for our reception and enjoyed every minute of it! They blew the top off! If you are looking for a unique, sound and light equipped venue that will go above and beyond to make your party the best, the Old Rock House will definitely rock your world!

Perfect Wedding & Reception
Our experience with Old Rock House was absolute perfection. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or better people to work with. Pauly and his team are supportive and flexible and took care of literally everything! Our guests have not stopped raving about the food and how much they loved the space. Nate and I really appreciated the private room downstairs where we got ready and could "take 5" when needed.
If you are lucky enough to find that the Old Rock House is available for your big day- book it- you will not be disappointed.

AMAZING Wedding Experience
Awesome venue! We had our wedding there on November 2, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. Pauly was incredibly helpful and made sure that our day was perfect. The Old Rock House took care of everything for us (food, drink, decorations, flowers, DJ and more), so that when it came to the day of we didn't have to worry about anything (including paying a thousand different people). So many people have told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been too.
We wanted something unique without too much DIY. Pauly and his team were able to work with us to achieve just that.

LOVED the Old Rock House
The Old Rock House was the perfect venue for us! My husband and I had been here for concerts and when we found out they also do weddings, we knew it would be the place for ours. We had about 175 guests and felt like it was the perfect amount of space. I loved having the upstairs and downstairs areas where our guests could hang out throughout the night, as well as the space downstairs where the wedding party could gather and keep their things. Pauly was super helpful throughout our planning process. He answered all of our questions and set us up with a lot of additional vendors that Old Rock House had connections with, including a DJ, photo booth, and even an ice sculpture! Would totally recommend for those looking for an alternative venue that'll cross a lot of items off your list.

Amazing from start to finish!
I seriously cannot even begin to describe how perfect our reception at The Old Rock House was! Pauly and his team was a dream to work with from start to finish. We wanted to do a Louisiana Bayou/Cajun theme, and Pauly was already on it! He let us sample his gumbo and red beans & rice at our booking and even was up for trying a new family recipe of ours! We had family from southern Louisiana and when they approve of Pauly's Cajun cooking (and Grandma's peas!) then you know it's good!! The day itself was flawless and seamless and Pauly took care of us every single step of the way. 11/10 would do it all over again!!

40th birthday party
The location was convenient to both IL and MO guests. Loved the free/security monitored parking. Guests raved about the food and had so much fun! I loved the venue as soon as I saw it, but it still exceeded my expectations. The staff was super responsive and friendly!

Perfect night
The Old Rock House provided us with the perfect venue for our wedding. The food was amazing. Pauly and Johna are great to work with. I am a vegetarian, and they were able to create several terrific vegetarian dishes. That being said, I was one of 2 vegetarians...Meaning there were several great meat selections as well. We still have people telling us how great the food was, and how much they enjoyed the Old Rock House. We cannot thank them enough for all of their help.
