Old Blanco County Courthouse is a historic wedding venue located in Blanco, Texas. Just one hour from Austin and San Antonio, this property offers a stunning backdrop for your day's festivities. It sits in the heart of the square at the city's downtown area. The stately house is available to host both ceremony and reception, in addition to engagement parties, pre-wedding showers, and rehearsal dinners. Couples can also host a romantic elopement here. The property dates back to 1885 and was built in Second Empire-style architecture.
Facilities and Capacity
Old Blanco County Courthouse can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Couples can exchange vows on the courthouse steps, with natural light filtering in through the window behind them. Ceremonies can also be held on the venue's landscaped grounds. The newlyweds can then lead their party to the courtroom on the second floor, which has plenty of space for a dance floor. In addition, the courthouse has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen for your caterers to use. There is plenty of space available onsite for parking.
