Rene is absolutely the best! The music on your wedding day can either make or break the atmosphere of your wedding but Rene ensures that everyone is having a great time. From the moment I inquired about our wedding Rene was able to connect with us via Zoom to know what our needs were and what we wanted our wedding to feel like. He sent us a google doc to fill out our timeline and music choices for every event happening that day. In addition, he encouraged us to make a playlist on Spotify with some of our favorite music and incorporated them into our day. He knew what the vibe was and when it was time to change the genre of music or improvise the unexpected events of that day. He is very professional, dressing for the event and makes sure he is there early to set up and ready. His experience in weddings really shows and on top of that he is bilingual in Spanish which was a huge plus since most of our guests were Spanish speaking. I would recommend Rene to anyone looking for a great, quality DJ, that pays attention to detail and really cares to make your wedding the best day of your life. He also asks you if you would like a photo with all your guests on the floor which was something I didn’t know I needed but soooo happy I did! Many thanks Rene we couldn’t have done it without you!

Rene is hands down the best there is. Aside from creating the best party atmosphere for my wedding, he was practically the coordinator as well. He made a detailed timeline of the wedding ceremony and the reception to ensure the day flowed perfectly. He allowed me to make as many changes as I wanted and was always available when I needed to discuss something. I have had numerous family and friends tell me that my wedding was the best wedding they have been to. It was just so much FUN and I owe it to Rene for reading the room and playing songs that got people off their chairs!

Rene responds quickly and he will do whatever he can to meet your requests. He stuck to my playlist and played my guests song requests and made all of our announcements, even the ones that we suddenly needed to be made. With COVID, we had to postpone our church wedding, but we still planned to have a small civil wedding. Rene was very flexible with our situation and understanding! He was very easy to work with. He stopped by a few days before to look at our reception space and provided suggestions that would make our event a blast! He worked with us to create a playlist of songs that we wanted to play at the wedding. All of our guests were on the dance floor having a great time! We will have our Church Wedding this year, and we can't wait to work with Rene again!

We hired Ola Sounds through wedding wire and wasn't sure what to expect. The price was reasonably cheaper than most DJs we had checked out so we went ahead and contacted Rene from Ola sounds. He offered to meet us right away. He was very friendly and very professional throughout the planning process and he went above and beyond with everything we asked for. He was flexible with our playlists and allowed us to ask many questions. He even went to our venue to check it out before the wedding! Our wedding went so smoothly thanks to Rene. Our guest were a mixed of ages, and backgrounds so having a good mix of music was what we wanted. Our guests loved the music and had a great time! It was definitely a plus that he speaks Spanish and was able to include some really good Spanish songs at the wedding. We could not have asked for a better DJ. I used Rene to DJ my wedding and by far, the music was the best part of the night. He put together a playlist that met the different tastes of me and my husband. He was able to hype the guests and got everyone dancing. Throughout the entire process, Rene was professional and made himself available to answer all my questions. Honestly, I think one of the best moments of that night I remember, is when I asked Rene to play a certain band, and he already had it ready to go.
From the first song during the guests entrance through social hour and dinner. To getting the party started with our grand entrance and MC'ing our reception, to our last dance of the night. Even with some surprises thrown in by the father and grandfather of the bride, Rene helped make our day go by as smoothly as we could have ever hoped.
We will definitely be contacting him for any more DJ needs in the future!
